A waste management business focused on processing and recycling black bag household and trade waste has received a �1.25 million investment from the Finance Yorkshire Equity Fund. Sterecycle, based on Sheffield Road, Rotherham, has secured the finance as part of a total funding package of �5.1 million.

A Bradford-based engineering company that specialises in supplying the global wire industry secured a significant export order thanks to a speedy �75,000 investment from Finance Yorkshire. Bar Products and Services, established in 1992, is one of Europe’s major suppliers of precision parts, tools, and associated products for the wire, tube and rod drawing industry. Over recent years the company has seen an increase in international orders from America, Asia and the Far East.

Security firm locks down growth plans after funding boost

A national food organisation has become the 100 th company to receive a Finance Yorkshire investment since the Fund completed its first deal in August 2010. Exquisite Handmade Cakes Ltd, based at Cardigan Works in Leeds, has received a �50,000 business loan from Finance Yorkshire to help raise awareness of its products and services.
