What is going on? What is cryptocurrency? How do you catch the wave?

This whole cryptocurrency thing is still new for many and lot of them are still skeptic about it, June 2017 the market cap for cryptocurrencies combined together is $100 billion in the market.

What is Bitcoin? A type of digital currency in which encryption techniques are used to regulate the generation of units of currency and verify the transfer of funds, operating independently of a central bank.

How was it created? A software developer called Satoshi Nakamoto proposed bitcoin, which was an electronic payment system based on mathematical proof. The idea was to produce a currency independent of any central authority, transferable electronically, more or less instantly, with very low transaction fees.

Block Chain: A digital ledger in which transactions made in bitcoin or another cryptocurrency are recorded chronologically and publicly.

But where is the money? This is interesting.

Bitcoin is one of the currencies that have been noticed by the industry leaders and have been discussing more and heavily about it. In order to catch the wave, there are underlying currencies which have been derivatives of Bitcoin. Bitcoin is hard to catch trending at close to $3000 a piece at the peaks.

You still have ways to get in started. First, you have to understand where the trading happens, Coinbase is one of the platforms which lets u buy and sell. once the account is opened you will have to submit your details. Once confirmed you could transfer money from your bank account and transact.

The good part of trading cryptocurrencies they are open 24 by 7. You are your own master skilled trader. You don't have to wait for exchanges to open or close.

Crude oil the most loved commodity in the world, many wars have been waged and cities built for this great viscous liquid. This last quarter of 2014 things have turned to south as the OPEC stood on its feet to make sure the production goes on irrespective of the prices.

Saudi Arabia is the largest producer standing at spot 1 , trailing behind is United States of America in 2nd and Russia in 3rd positions as of Year 2014.

Whole jest of this discussion is to identify the companies in US that are in a region of mid to small level oil producers and having impact on their production and pricing stratergies. Many of these companies are setting foot on the ground scenarios where they work with lenders and part of the well or equipment is shared on profit basis. As the prices go up or down there is a direct impact on their production and operations.

The stocks of these firms have been brutally shorted and abused to the core that some have taken some serious dough out of this panic scenario. As a consumer driving around feeling good that gas prices are around $2.67 range in the city of woonsocket, RI. Feels happy at the gas station. At the same time as a investor in these mid cap firms hoping the crdue to shoot up.

There are always derivative firms that are impacted for no reason of the slump in oil. Derivative firms are those who might have been directly or indirectly related to the production of oil. Oil drilling firms (MPO) , shipping firms (NM, EGLE, DRYS), oil distributors, Transporters. When the prices have fallen down there is a heavy buy potential for these stocks, but at the same time there is a thin line between buying a company at the lowest versus company about to go belly up. As a investor, what do you really do at this scenario ?

As always said, anyone can buy stock and make money, it is not when you buy it is when you sell, but in this scenario it is when to buy. Tough to make decision, back of your mind you are saying, Hey!! it is not the firm's fault it is the overall oil as commodity, but you are also capturing the thought that these companies are running from the loans given by the lenders and lender can pull plug anytime when they feel that the catastrophy is coming soon. The prices and the scenario recollects the fall of financial industry back in 2008.

The brave have always risen, if you feel you are not ready to put in one put in two or three. Give benefit of doubt and take a buy interest in your favorite oil company, you never know you will be counted as the oil tycoon soon.

Much anticipated IPO Alibaba founded by Jack Ma (English Teacher) from China Mainland. Initial days of Alibaba Yahoo invested in Alibaba @25% . Current evaluation of the Firm is sized at 190 billions (Fluid estimate), growing faster than anyone can imagine.

If amazon is the biggest online retail traded firm, Alibaba is combination of 9 amazons. Imagine that.

It's a very good concept of Business to Business model spread in combination of countries and territories. Alibaba's 1 day sale over the period of 24 hours ($5.75 Billion). Potential for Yahoo is way more .

I believe there is a tremendous amount of growth for this stock . Alibaba's growth oriented management is doing great wonders with the business model and acquiring strong leaders.

The thing that is impressive from the founder is he says I want every one wealthy trust us, and one more thing observed his 6000 of his employees/associates are becoming millionaires from this IPO.

Things are looking exciting for the online retail industries with a potential reach to more audiences as the smart phone market tied up to Mobile commerce, process of buying and selling is click of button away.

One More Social Media Mogul going into the Public Trading Space -- woot woot ( I Choose this color because it's the time to Twitter)

Twitter filed to SEC on this day of Friday 13th September 2013, Hushed up all the way until today about going public., Wow!! what a way Twitter does things amazed by the way they keep things under control and not get the proto types get leaked, Sorry!! They don't make products, Apple does , My Silly Jokes .. Sorry!! for the Interruption. Back to Twitter and doing things they do it, They have been talks going public way long back when I did not even have a gmail account, Sorry!! Twitter is not that old, pretty much way back from now.

Operations, Twitter is mass communicating messaging system with options to post pictures, Tony Wiener did once, still haunting him., Sorry!! about that posting pictures thing Mr. Wiener It's powerful, It has the potential to move Stock Markets, shake regimes, bring people to send messages to the world with one tweet.

Audience ranging from celebrities to any one who has a gps device (one more unintended joke) , any one who has a mobile phone with active connection. Potential is huge the market is still getting used to tweeting, the creators of this humongous platform have found ways to nestle their business plan between the daily user activity and mobile platform, ads and tweets that are customized to be a promotion and revenues from product makers.

Long run vision, I can guess not be sure about, growth is related to mobile usage totally, If only Twitter could make their business strategy to capture all that businesses could provide and connect business to consumer they could access tons of Money from direct source being the only medium as of now that could directly talk to each other via twitter. MOBILE is what they should be capturing.

Groupon,Facebook,Yelp, LivingSocial, all do the same, But Twitter has more mojo to what they can do with what they have, You know what 10 billion dollar evaluation is what every Pre-IPO evaluators are looking at 670 million dollars in revenue (not confirmed). for a 670 million dollar company in the market evaluation the stocks currently are trading at 25-30 dollar range, I believe they would be launched at the same range, I can be wrong. Way back 2009, I started my stock trading with Fannie Mae stocks, I traded when the stock was around 23 dollars , which I felt was the 52 week low, I was in impression as any mediocre Investor would be, Thinking it is too big to go lower than that, At the same time I was facing financial troubles with Job slipping away from my hand, and a heavy mortgage, As much I was a fighter to hold what I had I was seeing my financial situation slip away from me, hoping to cash in some gains out of my savings, I started to put in more in Fannie Mae all my analysis was going wrong markets were out of control, then I got so annoyed and angry that I wrote this article back in 2010, venting my anger that I will not buy any more of Fannie Mae.

Continuing my regular life , moved into rental place after letting my possession of dream home, I compromised with life and downgraded myself. It's too big to hold for me at that moment of time, as things moved my investments in Tech stocks and other investments got me some liquid to hold on to, Like it or not the pretty anchors, the bald guys, the tuxedo news reader who read what the market can be with out thinking much speak to us, not all that comes out their mouth is true., Hoping to get zest of what they say, back of my mind I was always wandering about housing situation, as old sayings said, when It will fall It will bring everything down with it, but when It raises It will pull some of the hardworking with it.

Back to my article, last few months back I made a gut choice to pull in 10k of stocks for .39 cents, hoping I will loose all of it, Few weeks passed I for once was amazed the return from a trade, when going gets tough, tough get going -- I will not loose trust on the fundamentals that made USA strong, I am an immigrant but have lot of respect for this country.

This is 2013 May 22nd, I hope to predict there is bright future for Housing market and US Economy showing a very positive sign,

Facebook IPO - Going live in a week, what is that have to do with you ? You must be curious george as me, be part of the hype or stay away from the burn...

Facebook: My version: A popular dot com for social activities, famous for wall, concept got popular when friends could write on each others wall and other friends in the list would know what is going on with others, because other friends knew what's going on, their friends wanted to be your friends, as this multiplications started, facebook developers thought to put a suggestion from their end, Hey!! add this guy/gal you might know her and this became a big hit with users joining referring each other. Totally forget the most popular feature is Facebook does not strictly keeps track of user activity, who viewed your profile , how many times ?

History on Google IPO: Popular search engine provider when started, people had a very strong skepticism, how will they make from search engine alone, so as the time speaks we now see google is leaps and bounds ahead in everything and anything, so who is the winner here, always the casino wins, so skeptics loose again.

Facebook IPO : where there is Juice(Money), There are ants., one old saying in India converted to english.

Dealing with billions, when they can acquire that much, the operating expense, maintaining servers with work force management is the only major expenses.

Millions of users, demographic user base :: young crowd with lots of time, life is facebook for people who are constantly updating their personal activities from announcements., demographic base is strictly for fun crowd, so if you are one of the facebook users who said, I stopped facebooking, you are not alone, but Facebook is not for those who could not use it to the fullest.

Mr. Warren Buffett , what makes this man so special, every investors living inspiration on how to follow the rules he always follows.

Let's get this clear.

Invest when people are scared
Sell when people are buying
Invest in the legacy of the product
Invest in management

Point 1 :

He bought Bank of america and GE shares (5Billion dollars BOFA, GE- 7 Billion dollars) When world was treating these companies as trash, all the pundits in news channels are shouting don't go there never look into these banks, they are loosing money more than they are earning .... basically blah, blah, blah .... which registers in every mind as don't buy these infested companies.

while having sun bath, he gets a thought to do it ... wow!! I wish I can borrow his shower head ...

Point2:

He keeps selling, when everyone is happy about buying .. no one gives a haineee ..on what he is doing when things go right ... typical, I am feeling richer affect ... when in reality they are pouring money for another investor like Buffett..

Point3:

Legacy of the product, Hey!!! him and coke are two synonyms, he drinks coke and shows off to the world that he is drinking coke, he has been doing that from the day he invested in coke, before he invested in Coke, he never gave a haineee... to it... , I am getting laugh myselves writting about his haineee..... Jokes apart, he carries his investment along with him and make sure he orders his product, how many of the current investor totally believe in the share that we put in, I watch Jim Cramer's MADMoney ... have heard questions from investors, are you going to follow him blindly ... he might be right, but not all what he says might be correct ... Legacy of the product.... I missed the bus for coffee stocks, I guess search out for some of those java stocks which gives dividends and have huge potential in long term.

Point4:

Good example, My favorite dialogue from movie "Forrest Gump', which he says , my friend booba invested in a fruit stock which made me a "millionaire" , it was so spontaneous I laughed at the dialogue thinking as a joke, Hey!!! that was a message for an investor that time and this time , Forrest Gump was released in 1994, even some one out of curiosity bought apple stock say even 100 of them would have been a quarter millionaire atleast.

Good example for defining, investment in management.

Chilean Miners had rescue @last - How long the Banks will take to bounce back ?

Friends, I am glad,Happy to hear and see the miners all rescued with no issues, The planning and execution of the team who did the whole process did a splendid Job in getting them out in one piece. The trust, faith and patience of Miners on the team was instrumental in their rescue.

How am I relating it to Economic downturn ?

There was this Big Mine called wall street, and there are 32(Hypothetical Number related to miners rescued) banks which are helping the big mine to function properly without any issues, the Big miners wanted profits all the time...so their executives and investors can make big bucks, based on the profits.

32 banks with all that they had put every effort into making the whole working style look like a successful model available for profit Mantra. Then there comes a day where the Make look good schemes starts to crumble down the Mine, stuck in the big mine.

If 32 banks operated on their own, I would not have written this article, They have used public funds and public trust to function badly and still get heavy bonuses for the operating executives, If that is the case...why pay somebody so much when his/her Job resume/profile did not contain the word "Loooser", which they did not mention while being selected for that position.

There is a very famous Line going all over the world, "Don't Bite off more than you can chew".

I did the same, but I was punished. compelling me to take financial losses. At the same time the one who encouraged me to chew are rewarded with Bailouts...It seems like the Law of Jungle..

Just a reminder....Grass eaten by Deer, Deer eaten by Lion......

Long Story short...Is this rescue needed ? Why do the Gov have to save this trapped Banks in the MINE>>>

Why I didnot BUY Fnm and Fre is

I was trading FNM and FRE, last year hoping the rebound of market is going to happen, as per the Mantra of Shares, Buy when it is low and selll when it is High, The mantra is not working for all stocks, as FNM and FRE looked to me like a luxorious Titanic, which will be ready to sink preety soon, I resisted my temptation to buy, as it was looking obvious to buy in huge sums and hold it for two or three and make fortune out of it, there was some thing hitting my brains not to do the way pundits are asking you to buy when it is low, the underlying factors of all these articles are they are written not buy warren buffet or other traders who are making fortunes, its written by a interpreter who is trying to analyze, in the sense they can be right or wrong, they them selves dont know, cause if they have known they would have been a big name in the world of investing.

Underlying message is that what is low is not always a hot buy, a hot buy is something where there is a performance and consistency factor.

I am glad I did not pour in to a sinking ship....

Always understand your patterns of investing is not to try to loose few hundered dollars, as that is way it will dive into, you should be always sure of where your investment money makes even few dollars as profit will add to your profits savings.

BRK-B the big catch

was drolling around 72 this past few weeks, Picked up couple more and added to my folio..I have had to double them as per the articles I read, they emphasize on consistency and performance...

Lets see if what they write really is what it is, was my thinking, so I went ahead and bought half of what I hold, let me not get into the numbers I hold....way too small..

so I added up and I did the whole game of wait and watch, too my irony I have seen it grow ten dollars in few weeks, again coming back to interpreting your articles from the whole jungle of internet...The next one I am talking about is some thing called, Exit stratergy...

Exit statergy is crucial for every trader, he should Know when to get out of the whole system with profit, I said to myself 10 dollars per share is good number, previous trades I was kind of holding more to see if I would gain more out of it, but the trends of day and night continues with stocks as well, I totally believe now that stocks have their own days and nights, as we cannot stop that happening, even stocks will not stop coming lows and highs.

this week came out with few hundered dollars, Hopefully the intention of making money in the moving markets is quite a challenge but its the way it is.

Credit Card Crisis..

One more bird falling down..Now what ? It's those cloudy hallowen night...where the darkness is plagued with chilling wind...stop scaring buddy.....its more than that...Its Credit Cards..the plastics in our pockets....How I started having credit cards ? First of all I hate the term Credit and the issues resolving around it, its so scary thing I knew that before having one.....Yes, I had to have credit card to start my credit history....daahhh....when I was loooking for apartment, the lady asks how much is your score ? Am like a fresher, oh ok...she says and gives me a spin spinning rate for the apartment price. I am like wooh wooh...atleast I got one...hahaha..my friend whom I referred got lot lesser rate than I had, past is past...so I started to know the importance or you can say the loop of all the mess..I was so far away from it, until I got the hook of it, then the colleagues and friends were so happy with a bright smile on their faces thinking about new addition of their debts family one more bird who will eventually fall down has joined them...hooo hoooo..I was not knowing what I was getting into, then slowly slowly made few purchases which were paid back in time and some one even suggested to over pay the bill owed to them and by doing that I could see that my scores started to accelerate and the interests offered to me were getting down from 11% to 9% and I was liking the way things were working, then comes this anonymous emails from the big brands who send you mails, containing prescreened offers, which says you are qualified for x.000 amount of dollars, for 0% 12 months blah blah ...you call them and find out that you were never prescreened just the letters says that but the customer support dont even know which letter we are talking about, Thats the funny part most of them dont even know what are the offers going on in their category they are supporting for atleast, If I have a marketing campaign going on, I would inform those who are in the forefront taking calls...That's not me... so thats bad on what ever they are doing to the customers.. Hey, I was deviated sorry!! from the mails have applied for more cards and more and more I dont know how many even I have now..hahha....eventually I lost track and there comes the late payments...one day was the late payment and ended up paying 31 dollars for 171 bill, and the customer support says...How do you want to pay it sir ? Am like dude....am off by one day...cant you pardon me and give me a bail out.....nope..was the answer. Come on man...for the bill which was delayed because of some online bill payment from a bank system....which dont pay the bill on weekends ended up paying my bill late and I am here paying the mistake of some c*** system which does not allow me to pay on weekends., then starts the real part where the raising curve of your score starts to trickle down...and all of a sudden you see your minimum for the credit card has gone down by few k's wow....you are no more a customer they are happy about ...hooofff...you loook like a fool, because one day in your payment history made difference in your entire credit life.....and you end up paying the late payment interest all through the life...which is supposed to be spent on your kids and family for their recreating and food...

we end up paying bait for the credit card firms....

Smile Please....Nothing is going to happen more than what is happening with all of us.....

Here we imagine missing a payment and we get hundereds of calls from so called lenders...who keep reminding us, you are due so many days blah blah....cranking jokes at the other end not trying to understand what goes with in our minds...and we with immense pressure try to make them understand that I am sorry for not paying on time...when things are out of control, we end up not paying...we get a huge bill for next month the penalty is more than the originial money owed.....and credit scores everything is impacted making you look like a worst criminal in the world.....dealing with the system..we have moved on paying back all owed sometimes...or still paying the minimums for 25% interest on creditcards..and 12% on home mortgages which is going to a system that is benefitting the 'C' categories, who end up making hefty bonuses and pay packages, vacation pays, sign up bonuses, all because they have mastered the billing system which can trick and track you and keep you in loop for just saying yes to a marketing call which sometimes are compelled to say yes to wind up a 0% interest for few months or something similar in grounds.....

My $1.oo Question is when a consumer delayed or defaulted...there is no body or system that will come to our rescues....How is government running towards a failing banking system which is sucking away, taxpayers savings which is supposed to be spent on people....not to save failing banks who have a system like a pyramid of cards when the base card gets a gush of wind...whole of the tower of cards fall down.....

Who is supposed to call them and say Hey, so and so bank, you have defaulted your payments...you are supposed to pay x amount as late payment...or you loose your bank....because you are late....or you defaulted......

does any one have any say if things are so badly controlled and all the CNBC, BBC channels who host gorgeous news anchors blaberring about economy making it juicer for hearing and scaring people reading about some internet rumor going around making it public....

where did the money go ?
This is still a big question for people....

Hellooooooo...can any one answer me.....
