This typecasting is both a blessing and a curse.

It can be a blessing to be a famous lawyer, because you may be offered a long standing role as a spokesman/spokeswoman for an investment company, bank, insurance company or a company who requires a great deal of trust, when it comes to handling other peoples money. This type of job, could bring more money and continued fame, from being on TV, print ads and billboards, and may well mean becoming a more famous lawyer than their whole career combined.

Some famous TV lawyers include: perry mason (raymond burr), LA LAW, Law and Order, The Practice, Franklin and Bash, Suits, Boston Legal, Murphy's Law, Night Court, and the list could go on endlessly.

Most of this list were long standing shows that went on for many seasons, and some are still going on. Every crime drama requires a criminal attorney, district attorney DA, and others so there are many more famous lawyers that I can even detail, but all these shows made the actors famous lawyers.

A real lawyer on the other hand whom wants to be a famous lawyer, might have either a more difficult or much easier time depending on a few factors which involves the cases these attorneys work on.

6. legal review on morning TV or a news channel (i.e. CNN, FOX, CNBC)

7. lawyer credited with freeing wrongfully convicted man/woman

8. attorney credited with freeing a person who the public feels is guilty of the crime.

9. District Attorney of a big city, with big cases.

10. the amount won in a case, if big enough and not a closed settlement can also make a lawyer famous.

11. If you look like a famous actor Vincent D'Onofrio and practice criminal law in Detroit, Michigan.

12. If you buy almost every billboard in town, or at least the billboards in high traffic areas.

There are many books, written by entertainment experts to help you with every phase of becoming famous, from making the move to new york or to los angeles (hollywood), finding an agent, finding auditions, how to audition to get the job, how to get a sag card, how to get a callback and what to do at the call back to win the role.

While rob tencer has seen many books on the subject, the following acting business books appear to be the best.

Its worth checking on every book link, because the price of some of the books are a little more than $1.00, while others are much more expensive. You won't know the cheap ones unless you check the books out more closely.

You will also learn more about which is best for you, and which won't be to expensive to buy. Maybe you could write me a comment, and tell me if the books helped you.

How to become famous when your pilot may not be picked up.

You made the decision in life to move to Los Angeles or New York City, go to acting classes, and on auditions every day. You finally got the call back because you nailed the audition, beating out 500 people that act and look more beautiful than you. (a reality)

The call back was for a network show (ABC, NBC, CBS, FOX) and the studio green lighted a pilot episode to be made. The casting director selected a group of well known actors and actresses to cost host with you to try an insure the pilot does well and has a built in audience.

Is the above work enough for the pilot to get picked up and make you famous?

Some factors to improve the chances for the pilot to succeed are:

Will the network debut the pilot with a strong lead in show?

If the network really gets behind the pilot and decides to show the it after Dancing with the stars or American Idol or something else with a huge audience, than the first episode pilot may be rewarded with an order for more episodes.

Will you be returning in your role for the new episodes or was this a one time only part?

To increase your chances of becoming part of the regular cast, its important to start working on publicity for yourself early enough to try to change the writers and the studios minds of what you can offer the show with your built in fan base.

Will the pilot episode of a hit show be enough to make you famous?

After the pilot is made and before it airs, you can begin your public relations campaign to make yourself famous. The sooner you start your PR campaign the more you can benefit from your work as an actress/actor to make you famous.

How do you start your press campaign to become famous?

Bring your own camera or phone/cam to the set and get photos with the leads
Make sure the IMDB page about the pilot lists your name in the cast
Get some photo shoots done while in your pilot's character, or in a character you want to be known for.
Send the photo's to entertainment magazines and blogs with a press release about the new show. Offer to do interviews.

Since your pilot is not about making large amounts of money, do not concentrate on this aspect and instead, you should concentrate on using this experience to become famous.

Even if the pilot is not picked up, the amount of BUZZ you just unleashed into the universe will only help on your way to becoming famous.

Unlike reality stars like Kim Kardashian or Paris Hilton, that had to make sex tapes to get anyone to notice them, you are a real star, with a network pilot to your name. You should be proud of yourself.

Do not try to be like miley cyrus, because she is a bad role model, and can seriously hurt you if you do what she does.

If you are a teen or tween, you must understand that what miley cyrus did was careless, reckless and wrong.

miley cyrus and disney tricked you into thinking miley cyrus was safe to watch, safe to want to be like her.

While you cannot be watched at all times, and your parents cannot be with you at all times, and your parents cannot protect you at all times,

it is up to you, to make the right decisions in life.

miley cyrus made the wrong decisions in life, but it hurt our children more than her.

miley cyrus, could have easily been raped, abused or killed after getting high of her own doing.

miley cyrus could have over dosed or reacted in a way that could have killed her.

People that miley cyrus considered to be close friends, video taped her, made her look foolish and exposed her to try to blackmail her after the fact, to make the incident go away. The video did not go away, and all efforts for damage control were of no use. Now, her publicist must wait and see and react and respond to the damage.

You should not only look at the damage to your life, the risk you take, but the company of friends in which you keep.

If you saw the video of miley cyrus, than you should learn the dangers of doing drugs. The danger that you cannot trust the people around you, and you cannot know how the drug will affect you.

Stay away from drugs and stay away from miley cyrus. miley cyrus cannot be trusted to look out for you, and above all do not say I want to be like miley cyrus, because she is not a good role model. The trust is shattered.

12 year old girl gets on a new Disney TV show

Being discovered by disney at 12 years old, involved so much more than watching the disney channel and dreaming of one day being on TV.

While dreaming of someday being on disney, you must also devote yourself to learning how to act, sing and perhaps dance. Be prepared for going on many auditions and still maintaining good grades at school.

So many kids try to become famous, and throw away their education and chase their dream, but only a few make it. If you are not one of the few kids that becomes famous, chasing your dream could ruin your life.

That is why you need to stay in school, keep your close friends, and maintain your life with parents who love you, while chasing your dream, but only it does not interfere.

Its not just you, who must sacrifice your home, family, and friends, education but your parents who if they decide to help, must also sacrifice their life, work, family to take you to acting classes, drive you to auditions, and to meet with agents, managers, lawyers and people who we hope can guide you to the roles and jobs in acting that you have always dreamed about.

Olivia Holt, is one of the lucky girls who got chosen to be on a new disney TV show called Wasabi Warriors, set to air June 2011. She will act opposite Jason Earles who was on the hit disney series Hanna Montana.

Olivia Holt, like you, started off with a dream to be on disney. She watched her favorite TV shows Hanna Montana, Jonas, Camp Rock, High School Musical and other shows on disney, and dreamed of one day, I will be on a disney TV show.

Olivia Holt not only stayed in school, but decided not to move away from Mississippi, where she currently lives. Instead, her parents enrolled her in acting classes, hired a vocal coach (Bob Westbrook), and Olivia continued to do what other girls do at 12 years old.

She was a gymnast, cheerleader, and joined local theater groups in Tennessee, where she had roles in local productions of Annie and Through the looking glass. It did not take long for people to notice Olivia Holt.

Shortly after, she was signed by Abrams Artist Agency and Ford Models, who helped Olivia get auditions for movies and commercials. She was offered movie roles for independent films as well as national commercials for Hasbro, Kidz Bop, Mattel, Jaxx Toys and Bratz. (This was all while living far away from Hollywood or New York, where most kids think they have to move to become famous) Oliviva does most of her auditions on Skype with her agent in Los Angeles.

Can you still be famous if you cannot sing, dance or act? Ask Kim Kardashian

If you want to become famous and you can't sing, can't dance and can't act is it still possible?

Yes you can still become famous even if you cannot sing, dance or act, and to prove it, look no farther than Kim Kardashian. While kim kardashian has done things I do not recommend to become famous, such as making a sex tape, and posing naked. In kim kardashian's specific case, she had no other choices.

Yes it is true, just because someone makes a porn video, it does not mean they will become famous.

Naked photos also don't make you famous, so I do not recommend a nude photo shoot either. (just because you think it will make you famous)

While the sex tape and nude photos worked for kim kardashian, it was her publicist that promoted the total package. JYP got his group Wonder Girls put onto U.S. tours of Jonas Bros., Justin Bieber to name a few. He has powerful connections with Disney, MTV and all TV networks. This post is a direct message to John casablancas and Barbizon, and any other school taking money from children, their parents and adults whom want to become famous.

They should all change their business model to be more like JYP.

John casablancas and Barbizon and all the others like them, should put their money behind their graduates in a similar style to JYP or get out of the business of giving their students false hope.

In an interview for (THR) The Hollywood Reporter's hollywood life, JYP, the creator and manager of the WONDER GIRLS, described how he created the WONDER GIRLS.

First, JYP created three schools to become famous. 1 in NYC, one in South Korea and the third in China.

Second, he held auditions in the 3 cities to become students at his star making schools.

The schools subjects include: language studies in english, chinese, choreography (dance), acting among many others.

JYP took things a step farther by financing and managing a group of hand picked graduates of his schools. He repeated the process for girl groups and boy groups. I am not sure if JYP created K-POP, but he surely made his mark.

The girls and boys of the groups JYP put together, sometimes for personal reasons, leave the groups, and are quickly replaced by other JYP graduates. (Giving hope and oppurtunity to other students of his)

JYP said in The Hollywood Reporter (THR) interview, that there may be girls who look more beautuiful and there may be girls who sing better, but nobody with as much desire and perseveirence and determination as his WONDER GIRLS.

By chance, USA blogger Perez Hilton saw a Korean version of the groups korean hit NOBODY and posted the video to his blog Perezhilton.com with his approval and love for the girls.

This caused a chain reaction, and the girls soon found a massive following in the U.S.

English version of NOBODY followed, and JYP and WONDER GIRLS seeing their worlk recognized by being listed in BillBoards top music in the USA.

The follow up to Nobody did not overlook their international following and JYP decided to release the newset single simultaneously in 3 languages. (English, Korean, Chinese)

The girls in WONDER GIRLS, worked hard in JYP's school for several years before being chosen. This was not instant stardom, and shows if you work hard enough, even without having looks or a mariah carey voice, you can still become an international star.

Park Jin-young founded the company in 1997 as "Tae-Hong Planning Corporation", which eventually became "JYP Entertainment" in 2001.

School Gyrls centers on a real-life, multi-talented teen pop group discovered by Nick Cannon consisting of 15-year old Mandy Rain; 15-year-old Jacquelyn Rae Pyles aka Jacque Nimble; and 16-year-old Monica Parales aka Mo Money.

The teen movie, will feature teen popsters the School Gyrls, discovered by Cannon, and guest appearances from Justin Bieber, Soulja Boy, Angie Stone, Pete Wentz and Kristinia DeBarge.

“This isn’t ‘High School Musical!’” says one character in “School Gyrls”, But Nick Cannon says the smash Disney hit and even Fox’s “Glee” were inspiration, along with Josie and the Pussycats.

He even teamed up with Archie Comics for a School Gyrls comic book series and a junior novelization is coinciding with the film’s release. The group’s debut album and a tour are expected in the Spring. Their first single, “Something Like a Party,” was just released to iTunes and AmazonMP3. “Young people and people in general really want good music and fun entertainment,” he says.

School Gyrls will premiere on Nickelodeon Feb. 21st, then air on TeenNick the following night.

"For me, the movie has an appeal like 'Glee,' " Cannon told The Post. "It has that poppy look but it's a way to do a young teen musical that's a little hipper than the ones you may have seen."

In the movie, the School Gyrls (Mandy Rain, Jacque Nimble, Mo Money) play students at an exclusive all-girls academy who meet each other in detention, bond, and hatch a plan that unfolds at the school dance.

“I had been a part of a bunch of different talent searches for young people in the past and I’d seen thousands of really talented kids,” Cannon said. “So I was like ‘Maybe if I grabbed three of those girls that I had auditioned for other projects and put them together and create this group, it could be something really special. We haven’t seen something like that in the music industry in a while.”

The result is School Gyrls, a pop/dance trio made up of 15-year old Mandy Rain, 15-year-old Jacquelyn Rae Pyles aka Jacque Nimble, and 16-year-old Monica Parales aka Mo Money. “These three uber-talented young ladies sing, dance, rap, act, just do it all,” Cannon said.

School Gyrls really showcases Nick Cannon's knowledge of the teen demo with his discovery of these three relatable and gifted girls whose talents can live across multiple platforms. said Marjorie Cohn, Executive Vice President, Original Programming and Development, Nickelodeon.

The premiere of School Gyrls will coincide with the release of a brand-new multimedia book series from Simon & Schuster Children's Division as well as the release of a debut album and a musical tour by the pop trio. Kicking off the School Gyrls book series is a movie novelization that will be published in this month by Simon Spotlight, an imprint of Simon & Schuster Children's Publishing. Aladdin Books will publish six original novels based on the three girls. Additionally, the School Gyrls, signed to Cannon's NCredible Entertainment, will also embark on a 10-week cross-country tour with Cannon in spring 2010 timed to the March 23 release of their debut album on Island Records. The first single off the album, "Something Like a Party" will be available for sale digitally on Feb. 9. Cannon has also partnered with Archie Comics to introduce the School Gyrls into their iconic comic book series, with the cartoon characterization of the girls being introduced into Archie issue #607 which will hit newsstands nationwide on March 24 and be available for download on iTunes and Archie Digital.

While the girls got a big break being discovered by nick cannon, they have taken acting classes, dance classes, and live close enough to LA / NY to audition and get some jobs.

School Gyrls not only look the part of sweet high school students, they actually are. Consisting of Mandy Rain, Jacque (pronounced "Jackie"), and Monica, the three young pop stars have major charisma and talent. Under the guidance of Nick Cannon, the group officially formed in November 2008 and have been hard at work ever since. #2 Creative Artist Agency

In terms of sheer quantity and quality of athletes, one would be hard pressed to find a better and more prestigious agency than Creative Artist Agency (CAA). With strong divisions in all major sports and entertainment and an instantly recognizable client base, it is difficult not to give CAA the top spot in the rankings. What has dropped it to the #2 spot, though, is the bad reputation of some of its agents, a ‘relative’ lack of success in the recent NBA draft (notably losing Derrick Rose to WMG), and its sheer size, which for most athletes and personalities is just too big. Leon Rose, Tom Condon, and Ben Dogra amongst other agents of the firm are far from admired by most of their colleagues and industry peers.

Notable Clients: Derek Jeter, Lebron James, Payton Manning, Sydney Crosby, David Beckham, Tony Hawk.

#3 Blue Entertainment Sports Television

During the course of the last year, the sports and entertainment subsidiary of venture capital firm Blue Equity, Blue Entertainment Sports Television (BEST), has positioned itself as one of the top players in the sports representation industry. With acquisitions of Black Wave Media (Basketball), Joel Segal (Football), Game Seven (Coaches) and SFX (Tennis), BEST has surpassed (or just brought up) many firms who have been around for decades more, and is poised to give both WMG and CAA a run for its money. BEST did not see great success in this past year’s NFL and NBA drafts, but strong leadership by COO Michael Principe most definitely insures that BEST will be on the track to future growth and success.

Notable Clients: Reggie Bush, Michael Vick, Rasheed Wallace, Tom Crean, Andy Roddick, Justin Henin.

#4 International Management Group

International Management Group is the grandfather of all agencies and is considered amongst the old guard of athlete management and representation firms. For sheer monetary value, IMG and its respective properties cannot be matched by any other agency. Recent estimates have put the company’s worth at over 2 billion dollars. IMG has divisions in sports and modeling representation, collegiate and professional sports franchise marketing, and corporate and media sports consulting. IMG has moved away from team sports representation in recent years, its football division most notably ending up at CAA. Regardless, IMG represents the most financially successful athletes and personalities in the world and is by far the largest mover and shaker in the world of sports marketing and representation.

Notable Clients: Tiger Woods, Freddy Adu, Jeff Gordon, Tom Coughlin.

#5 Octagon

Also considered amongst the older guard of agencies, Octagon has set itself apart from IMG by continuing to be a strong player in not only sports marketing and consulting, but athlete representation as well. With solid football, basketball, Olympic sports and golf divisions, Octagon remains one of the elite management firms. Octagon will soon expand to both the MLB and NHL and has strong leadership under CEO Rick Dudley and Phil de Picciotto, President of Athletes and Personalities. There is little doubt that Octagon will continue to be a major player in the representation industry and one of the premiere leaders in the sponsorship marketing and consulting sector.

Notable Clients: Chris Paul, Rudy Gay, Aaron Rodgers, Bill Cowher, Mike Hulbert.

#6 CSMG

CSMG marks a drop off from the larger agencies with unlimited budgets and millions of dollars invested in intellectual properties and events. CSMG’s areas of strength include its basketball and baseball divisions. The firm also has a ‘masters’ division, which includes many of the top baseball coaches in the country as well as many notable play-by-play announcers. CSMG has not had recent success in the NBA draft, but its MLB division continues to grow and is one of the largest amongst all agencies.

Notable Clients: Dwyane Wade, Anthony Parker, Felix Hernandez, Ken Macha, Neil Everett.

#7 Career Sports & Entertainment

Career Sports & Entertainment has one of the more prominent basketball coach representation divisions in the nation, which includes many of the most celebrated NBA and college coaches. Along with their coaches, Career Sports has a respectable baseball and golf division and one of the leading sports broadcasting divisions around. Interestingly enough, as their broadcasting division continues to gain strength, their coaching division has taken a substantial hit as of late with the losses of Billy Donovan, Tom Crean (now at BEST) and the scandal laden Kelvin Sampson.

Notable Clients: Doc Rivers, Eddie Jordan, Clark Kellogg, Erin Andrews, Bobby Cox

# 8 Premier Sports Management

Premier Sports Management was a mid-size but relatively low-key football representation firm until this spring. It joined forces with the law firm of Stinson Morrison Hecker to create Premier Stinson, a firm that represents over 75 elite level coaches. With hands down the largest multi-sport coaches division in the country, combined with a respectable football division and several broadcasting clients, Premier has launched itself into the Top 10 of the Agency Power Rankings.

Notable Clients: Drew Bennett, Willie McGinest, Laila Ali, Pete Caroll, Roy Williams

#9 Athletes First

Headed by David Dunn (of Steinberg, Moorad, and Dunn infamy), Athletes First’s concentration is football with a small but respectable baseball division, and a handful of football coaches on both the NFL and NCAA level. Athletes First has not had incredible success in either the NFL or MLB draft as of late, but represents several recent late first day and second day draft picks.

Notable Clients: Joey Harrington, Matthew Hasselback, Ray Lewis, Dennis Erickson, Bill Musgrave.

#10 The Agency

The Agency Sports Management & Marketing has continued to build a legitimate sports management practice by creating partnerships with larger firms and independent agents. The Agency only exclusively represents a few of its clients, notably its coaches and some of its broadcasters. At any rate, they have become proven leaders in sports and client marketing, which in turn has allowed them to build a deep network of agencies willing to outsource work to them.

Notable Clients: Troy Aikman, Carmelo Anthony, Ben Howland, Mike Brey, Stephon Marbury.

So your son or daughter want to become a famous child star. Please give some thought to allowing them to follow their dreams, while keeping them grounded as young adults, so they don't grow up in the wrong company.

In conjunction with my help for parents with drug and alcoholic addicted children (dr. sober) , I see the need to help the parents that's children want to quit school, move to hollywood or new york and go on auditions and take acting classes.

While some children go on to become famous, it is not without a cost. I now bring you some realities of children that have made it to become famous hollywood actors and actresses:

Kirsten Dunst

Transplant New Yorker Kirsten Dunst could be easily found strolling the streets of SoHo, smoking a cigarette, or partying it up in a LES bar with your hipster friend - all with a smile on her face. But apparently life wasn't so happy for Dunst, who sought treatment at the Cirque Lodge treatment center in Utah in early 2008, explaining that she had been feeling "low" in the six months prior to her going to rehab.

A judge ordered “Sixth Sense” star Haley Joel Osment to attend Alcoholics Anonymous meetings for six months and go through 60 hours of rehab after the actor pleaded guilty to drunk driving and marijuana possession in Los Angeles in 2006.

disney channel is looking to cast more kids ASAP

disney channel orders "dance dance chicago" pilot, and needs to cast kids in a hurry for a january 2010 production start date.

Kids are needed to be cast in a new comedy series on the disney channel, which centers around 2 kids working as back up dancers on a dance TV show. The casting is going on now to not only fill the 2 main kids of the show, but many other kids as well.

Disney is increasing its series on the disney channel of shows with a music theme such as hannah montanna starring miley cyrus and a cast of teens, jonas starring the jonas bros and a cast of other teens, phineas and furb the animated series starring many teens.

Every kid under 18, and some over 18 at some point in their lives dreams of wanting to be a star on the disney channel. While it is not impossible, and some do make it, I get asked over and over if I can help them attain their dreams. Here is a conversation with a teen named chase, who might have what it takes to make it. I am offering advice that many of you may use to also attain your dreams of being a disney star.

I remember going to a movie premiere for something like cinderalla
stories but with the vega girl, and seeing all these kids who I thought to myself, will never be in another movie, and I was so happy that the premiere was such a wonderful experience. The after party was like a giant amusement park. I think the point is that every kids movie and every kid has an expiration date when they are no longer kids.

I had several clients that got a special agent for voice over work and got booked regularly for disney, nick, abc, fox, cartoon network, etc...

Work on your voice as well and don't only say you look like a mix of zac and ashton.

The photoshoot of you with the military style jacket was best. Also you need to photoshop the photo of you with your shirt off because you have a farmers tan, which means only your arms are tan. And it makes you look unprofessional or a redneck dork, unless that is what you are going for? (Ashton?)

Ashton was also a model, so do another photo shoot in a fitted suit, or
something fancy and not with a "t-shirt", perhaps try modeling, since you keep saying you look like ashton. Learn how to walk a runway like a model, and audition before fashion week in LA or NY.

One of my clients did a movie in your city with steven segal. Occasionally they make movies in your city. Do you know any casting agencies in your town?

You say you just turned 18. Are you considering college? Were you offered any type of scholarship academically or for sports?

Are you moving to LA? Or NY?

To follow your dream and passions will be a major sacrifice, to move away from friends and family, and it will be difficult not working and only go on one audition after another. Rejection is tough, but happens to everyone.
I don't' say to give up, but mention reality.

One suggestion would be to get an agent that reps a big teen star and have them place you in the movie in any part, even non speaking as part of the other teens contract. That is why you go after the big agents, because they have power like that.

Small agents have their quality as well. They don't put others before you. They fight for you, because they need to.

It is possible through a couple websites to find your own auditions (breakdowns) and try to arrange to attend the audition, although usually you need an agent to attend.
