Hello friend,
Sewer smell is due to lack of water in the drain line.I think you should contact to any good plumber because without viewing the whole situation I can't give you any suggestion..as your problem is very severe,it is connected to hygiene..It's not hygienic especially for small children so try to contact to any good plumbers as soon as possible, or if you are not getting time for that then send me it's pic so that I can suggest you something.

Regards,
Nelson
Sewer And Drain Cleaning

Shower Cold Water Leak

I have what seems to be an odd problem with a Price-Pfister three stem in an upstairs shower. It does not leak when set to fill the tub with cold only on, hot only on, cold and hot both on. When the diverter is moved to the shower position, it does not leak when only the hot or only the cold water is on, but if the both hot and cold are on in the shower position, I have a leak on the cold water side only that drips down the pipe and to the now cut out section of ceiling below onto the kitchen floor. Any thoughts on this seemingly odd (to me at least) problem?

Shower Diverter Issue

I have a 3-handle tub/shower that was leaking. I decided to replace the hardware for all 3 valves while I was at it. Luckily there was a kit available that included new seats, stems, handles, the whole nine yards. Everything went smoothly and the leak is now resolved. However, now when I turn the diverter handle to the shower position, only about 50% of the water is diverted. The rest of the flow continues from the tub spout. I've had this problem once years ago, but I can't recall what the fix was. I am baffled since everything from the seats outward is brand new.

Re: Shower Spout

Update..

I just crawled underneath the spout and shined a flash light up there, there's no place to stick an allen wrench or screw driver up there. I'm either a weakling or that thing is wedged on there.. or I'm missing something.

Shower Spout

The water diverter on my shower spout broke off last night leaving me unable to turn on the shower. So I did a little search on the Internet and I've discovered there are two main spouts -- a slip off secured by a screw and a twist on secured with a thread. My shower spout does indeed have a hole at the very back of the bottom of the spout, leading me to believe it's a slip off with a screw. However, when I stick my finger up there, I just feel a rounded pipe, no screw or divot to undo. Does this mean my spout is a screw off? I tried with all my might and then with a wrench to turn it under clockwise, but it wasn't budging and I don't want to make matters worse.

Is there a 3rd type of spout that I haven't come across yet? What am I missing?

Thanks in advance!

PS - I'm 95% sure it's a Price Pfister spout.

PPS - This would be a lot easier if I could just replace the water diverter, but I can't seem to find one.

Septic issue

I recently purchased a home built in 1965. The septic tank was emptied and the system was inspected in September. Three weeks ago I started having trouble with the drains backing up whenever the washing machine was being used. This morning I had the tub, two toilets and a shower pan full of water. My water conditioner was going through it's cycle so I shut it down. Now I'm left with standing water in all above mentioned fixtures. I removed the lid on the septic tank and all seemed normal. This may sound like a stupid question, but, do you think my problem is between the house and the tank? If the drain field was the problem, the waste water in the tank would have overflowed when I removed the lid? It's been several hours and the waste water level in the fixtures is still the same. I tried getting the cleanout caps unscrewed, but they won't budge. I shouldn't need a special tool to get them off, should I? It's a brass threaded cap with a square piece that I put a pipe wrench on.

Any suggestions?!?!?!

Thanks in advance...

double sink spits water when disposal is activated

HI!

See pic below. When I turn the disposal on, it backs up and spits out of the second sink- both disgusting and inconvenient to be pulling the dish basket out of the sink every time I turn the disposal on. My husband installed a baffle tee, but nothing changed other than fixing a back up issue with the dishwasher. He tells me nothing else can be done. Tell me he isn't right! Thank you so much!!
100_304622.JPG

Renewable Clean Energy

The growing demand for more energy has forced the world to seek other sources of energy. Among the main contenders for this are the renewable sources of energy. The renewable energy sources are known for their environment friendly attributes that contradicts the harmful nature of gases emitted on combustion of the fossil fuels.

The key renewable energy sources of today include the sun, ocean water and the wind. Although the usage of these renewable sources is limited to only 1%, it carries a great potential. One of the issues faced by the renewable energy sources is the high initial cost of installing the plant. There is a need to streamline the cost of clean energy and make it more competitive with traditional fossil fuel energy.

The World energy research is helping the world find the treasures hidden in the clean energy. It does so by enabling the investors to benefit from the clean energy sector. It partners with leading energy companies to bring productive projects into the world market for the investors to invest. It also helps the investors find many good investment options in the sector that are both secure as well as beneficial.
