FileMaker Application Developer

We are looking to hire a FileMaker developer to work full-time in our Indianapolis office. We are particularly interested in someone with strong communication and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

Applicants will be responsible for the following:

Develop (through training provided) proficiency in the FileMaker product line
Work closely with Business Project Manager and other FileMaker Developers to design, implement, and maintain systems with a high level of quality
Design screens, write and test code/scripts
Utilize understanding of system analysis (ERDs and workflow diagrams)
Work with project management tools daily
Regularly communicate in writing tasks accomplished

Requirements

Applicants need to meet the following requirements:

Excellent communications skills
Ability to perform job functions with a minimum of supervision
Exhibit signs of creativity and a positive attitude
Team player
Strong understanding of relational database design
Solid programming skills
B.S. degree in technical field (physics, math, sciences) or equivalent
Familiarity with FileMaker, mySQL, or PHP is a plus
Ability to provide samples of your development work is a plus

Filemaker developer

We are looking for someone to develop a custom database for clients and intergrate a barcode tracking system. We are offering a contract forn 1-3 months in Bangkok, Thailand. We will provide accomodation, a salary and a return flight.

Developer

1099 Contract work available for two projects. Mostly setting up similar features across several modules. Will train in specifics.

FileMaker Technician

We are: a 20 year old industry-leading company that publishes a FileMaker-based solution for art galleries, artists, museums and foundations. Our clients are the biggest names in the art industry, all over the world. We are currently about to release our 10th version in FileMaker 12. We are a relaxed, small, fun, team-oriented environment to work in.

We are looking for a FileMaker Developer to provide technical support, installation of our solution (both remote and onsite in galleries and artist studios), data transfer, plus help us with development of future versions and add-on features. Various duties include: answering phones, training clients, going onsite to galleries and artist studios to assist clients and install software, analyzing client needs, customizing our solution to suit our client's needs, helping us look to the future and developing new products down the road. We are a small, intimate company.

The solutions currently in place include student interaction tracking, classroom and event attendance, student quality and persistence monitoring, document collection and correlation, and inventory tracking and new solutions are always being developed. Must work well with others and be quick to resolve issues as they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

Ability to analyze complex systems and break them down into parts
