On a Grand Scale…

Our office has been a flurry of activity for the past, well, it’s been a while! Now that the flurries of snow are gone (I think we can safely say that…) the busy season for builders and developers is in full Spring.

With all the advancement in digital 3D technology and paperless touch-screen sales offices that Fineline is having fun producing, we believe there is still room in your sales office for a traditional architectural scale model. I don’t mean the cardboard kind or even the balsa wood methods (both of which can look good if done with lots of time and extreme care) I’m talking about a whole new level of technology married with the skill and craftsmanship of an expert model maker. Fineline Perspectives has collaborated with Noel White of Monolith Architectural Models to combine the latest in 3D modeling software with computer automation and exquisite craftsmanship.

A well executed architectural scale model showcases a builder’s commitment to delivering on their promise. Below is a selection of recent architectural models that have allowed Tamarack Homes to showcase their vision in a time honoured fashion but with the flare of modern cutting edge realism. The result is a traditional but highly effective sales tool for today’s sales office.

Tamarack Homes’ Cardinal Creek Village scale model. A 400 hectare residential development in east Ottawa. After we delivered a base terrain model with accurate existing and final road and grade data, Monolith breathed life into it…. and yes, that’s over 5000 trees!

The Tamarack Wellington. An architectural model that matches the prestige of the address and its architect, Barry J. Hobin & Associates Architects Inc.

We’re already in March and the snow is still piled up outside. Does this make it dreary in our office? Not a chance! Fortunately, as we work on modelling, advertising, and many other things, we get to imagine and view the world as a vibrant, green, warm landscape. It’s our job…bonus! Have a look at some of the recent work we’ve been doing and take courage, it won’t be a winter wonderland for too much longer.

Fineline : A New Perspective

Wait a minute… there are twice as many people in our office as there were last year! With the additions of full-time staff Laura (June 2013) and Ryan (January 2014), we’re growing and so is our knowledge and expertise. Fineline Perspectives has had quite a bit going on lately and we realized that as our team becomes stronger, so can your brand. We want you to get to know us as a team and are eager to share with you how we work, what makes us tick, and our excitement about new projects and opportunities.

So…did you notice our other new addition? Check out the fresh logo at the top of the page! We made a few subtle changes to our colour scheme and wordmark. Even more exciting, check out our newly designed Team page where you can get to know Chris, Daryn, Laura, Ryan and Jessica.

As part of the fun, we also had an in-house photoshoot. Our official photos are on the Team page, but we couldn’t resist showing a little personality with a few of the extras…

Uncharted Territory

2014 promises to be full of new experiences for us. Last year we expanded our personnel and our capabilities and look forward to continuing those trends this year. We thrive on challenges and know how to have fun tackling them. Check out some highlights from 2013 below!

Unveiling material for The Azure was an exciting way to start the year. We took the brand across a multitude of platforms such as advertising, signage, web, social media, realistic renderings, and a beautiful brochure book, to name a few.

In the fall, we shot a promotional video for William’s Court. We worked together to storyboard the connected lives of a number of residents. When the day came, we enjoyed getting to explore the suites and amenities while shooting, and felt very at home and comfortable on location. The night ended with a tasty barbecue on the terrace. We could get used to that!

We’ve researched and studied, and have been amazed at our findings. We put together a series of infographics detailing the benefits of living at William’s Court. After alot of hard work and attention to detail, we finally put them on display in the Leasing Centre. Go get a closer look!

When we had a bit of office space to spare, we enjoyed having a foosball table in-house. It helped us get our minds going in a different direction for a while. Makes sense, right?

Looking forward to a full year of new opportunities!

The Azure’s real estate video below, is a blend of authentic client/designer interviews and beautiful 3D digital animation combined with on-site film and photography of the model suite and its local environs. This real estate video enters into The Azure’s tactical marketing pipeline as a showcase item displayed in their sales office as well as on their website. Recently it has also become a powerful tool in The Azure’s email-marketing campaign which continues to convert online registrants into sales office visitors.

Welcome To Our New Website

A new year has begun, and with it comes new resolutions. At the top of our list was revamping our website. If you recall, our previous website consisted mainly of a portfolio and photo gallery. We hope that this new site will give fresh insight of who we are as a company.

Our vision and direction as Fineline is expanding. For years we have provided architectural renderings for our clients, which is something that we are very passionate about. As we have grown, so have our clients expectations of what we can deliver. Natural progression has made us understand that our clients want more than just pretty pictures, and we have shown that our in-house talents exceed their expectation. While for years we have offered web design, logo and graphic artistry, photography and other key elements to successfully marketing a real estate project, now is the time to brand ourselves as a real estate marketing firm.
