				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Each year during the Wimbledon Championships Aorangi Terrace, also known as Henman Hill or Murray Mound, has very high footfall and is prone to wear and tear. We were asked to remediate an area of the terrace ready for this years Championships. During the project due to restricted access around Aorangi Terrace we required assistance from a Sir Robert McApline crane to manoeuvre the turf pallets into position.</p>
<p>The scope of works included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strip existing turf.</li>
<li>Supply and spread 60 tonnes of topsoil. Shape and marry into the existing contours. Consolidate and prepare ready for turf.</li>
<li>Apply 6:5:18 pre turf fertiliser.</li>
<li>Supply and install 605m2 of Tillers Turf Arena.</li>

A robust and resilient surface, ideally suited for this application. The fibres laced throughout the sand trap moisture and help stop the sand becoming loose.</p>
<p>The project included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Grade and consolidate the formation.</li>
<li>Supply and install a membrane.</li>
<li>Laser grade and consolidate a fibre sand surface.</li>
<li>Erect new fencing to the Manège perimeter. All posts were HC4 pressure treated for a longer life against rot and insect attack.</li>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Royal St George&#8217;s has played host to the Open Championship on 14 occasions, including the first played outside of Scotland in 1894. We recently reconstructed and resized the 6th and 16th tees in preparation for the club hosting its 15th Open in 2020.</p>
<p>The works included:</p>
<ul>
<li>Remove existing rootzone and stockpile.</li>
<li>Shape and consolidate the new tee formations. The 6th tee was 360m2 and the 16th was 320m2.</li>
<li>Blend imported rootzone with the stockpiled rootzone.</li>
<li>Laser level and prepare the surface ready for turf.</li>
<li>Supply Tillers Turf Fescue to be installed by the Greens Staff.</li>
</ul>
