Troubleshooting Guide – Resolve blank device and user tab when restoring Ingress MySQL database into a new PC

Introduction
Under some circumstances, you might bump into several issues with your computer till you need to reinstall the software into another PC, and require restoring the old backup database. At times, some users experience a blank device or user after the restoration. In this article we will guide you on how resolve blank user or device tab after restoring an old Ingress MySQL database in a new PC

1) Install the latest Ingress software and restore the Ingress MySQL database by using SQLYog

2) After software login, you might find the user and device tab is blank.

Thus, you may follow the steps given below to resolve the issue

A) Please close all application

B) Restart MySQL, Ingress Service, Ingress WDMS Service and Attendance Service (Task Manager > Services > restart all the respective services )

C) Run Ingress DB Installer

FingerTec Ingress folder (Ingress server folder in C drive ) > Ingress DB Installer > Key In MySQL > Test Connection > Update Connection > Reset Upgrade > DB Diagnostic > DB Maintenance > Upgrade Database

4) Open Ingress > login. You should be able to view the users and devices in the Ingress software.

Invalid Time Period Error in Face ID5 for New Registered User

Introduction
When a new user has been created and enrolled in Face ID 5 series devices, the user does not have any access level assigned to him yet. This will lead to a failed verification with ‘Invalid Time Period’ error message shown at the device screen during verification. This article will explain the steps on how to solve the ‘Invalid Time Period’ error at Face ID 5 devices.

Process

1. Once a new user has been created in a Face ID 5 device, you need to download the user to Ingress software. New users will be automatically pushed to AWDMS software. Thus, you only have to download the user in Ingress software.

2. Go to Users module > Download User > Double click on Device > Select new user > Select All Data > Click Download

3. After the user has been downloaded into Ingress software, you need to assign the user to the existing access level that you already configured during the first setup. There are two ways to assign new users to the access group.

First, you can directly assign the user group in the Users module. Select New User > Go to Access Control > Edit > Select Access Group to Full Access > Save.

Secondly, you can go to Access Level module > Select Full Access group > User tab > Edit > Add > Select Users > Click OK

4. Once a new user has been assigned to Access Group, you can directly upload the user to the AWDMS. Go to Users module > Click Upload User > Select AWDMS > Select New User > Select All Data > Click Upload.

5. If a new user is created from Ingress software, you need to make sure to assigned the user Access Group before uploading the user to the device.

REMARK : Above article can only be performed if the Access Level has already been created and synchronised from Ingress software to AWDMS during the first time setup.

How to use FingerTec Electric Door Strike

Introduction

FingerTec offers two types of electric door strike: 210MF or 210M Door Strike that can be used with our access control devices. Electric door strike replaces the fixed strike face-plate which is often used with a latch-bar (also known as a keeper). Like a fixed strike, it normally presents a ramp surface to the locking latch allowing the door to close and latch just like a fixed strike would. However, an electric strike's ramp surface can, upon command, pivot out of the way of the latch allowing the door to be pushed open (from the outside) without the latch being retracted (that is, without any operation of the knob) or while activated the knob or lever can be turned to allow access from the secured area.

210MF (Fail-safe): Also known as the fail-open. When the electric current is applied to the strike, it will lock up the door. It operates just like the EM lock mechanism and if there is a power failure, the strike will release the door. The fail-safe unit operates on direct current (DC) with the same function with EM lock, the connection with the FingerTec device is almost the same with EM lock connection.

210 M (Fail-secure): Also known as the fail-lock or non-fail safe. When the electric current is applied to the strike, it will release the door. In this configuration, the strike would remain locked in a power failure. However the knob can still be used to open the door from the inside to allow access from the secure side. These units can be powered by alternating current, which will cause the unit to buzz, or DC power, which offers silent operation, except for a "click" while the unit releases. The device connections are different with the EM Lock where it only unlock when current is applied.

How to Request and Approve Out of Area Clocking in TimeTec HR

Introduction
TimeTec offers a geofence feature which limits the GPS clocking within a preset location range. Due to the restriction, some staff might not be able to clock their attendance when they are outside of the permitted area. In TimeTec, the Admin can set a setting which can allow the staff to request for clocking outside of the permitted area, which then will need approval from the superior. Here we will guide you on how to request and approve out of area via TimeTec HR app.

Process
1. When a user wants to clock outside of the allowed Geofence area, a pop up notification will appear on the user phone app after the user clicks on the GPS icon.

2. You may check the View Map setting, to check for your current location and allowed location for clocking.

Location A - User current location
Location B - User’s allowed clocking location based on Geofence group in the system

3. To apply for Out of Area Clocking, click on the Clocking button.

4. Fill up all the necessary information for each box and click Submit.

5. To check on your request status, click on the Features button.

6. At the pop-up window, choose Out of Area Clocking.

7. You can view the pending requests in this section.

B. Approval for Out of Area Clocking request
1. Approver can check any request submitted by their staff under the notification tab.

2. The approver can click at the Approval tab to view all staff requests and the status of each request. Click on the pending request (blue tab) to view the request that needs an approver to response.

3. The approver can fill up the comment section and response to the request (Approve or Reject).

4. Once Approve button is clicked, the request tab will change to green color.

How To Request and Approve Edit Attendance in Timetec HR App

Introduction
If you are a TimeTec HR mobile user and you need to request Admin to edit your attendance, what should you do? You can do this directly via the TimeTec HR App through an Approval for Edit Attendance function. This option will allow users to edit their attendance data and this step would require superiors’ approval.
There are two ways to request attendance edits, one is through a web browser and another is through TimeTec HR App. Let’s look at the steps to do it in TimeTec HR App.

Process
A. Request Edit Attendance
1. Login to Timetec HR App > Click on the feature button

2. Then click on the My Request icon

3. On the Pop-up notification, you may select Edit Attendance

4. Click on the + symbol to add a new Edit Attendance Request

5. Select the date to edit, fill in the correct clocking details and provide a remark. Click on the Send button once the information is complete.

6. Once the request is successfully submitted, a new pending request will appear under the Edit Attendance request.

7. Users can check the status of their request under the Approval tab whether it is Approved or Rejected.

B. Approve Edit Attendance
1. As an Approver you will receive a notification for every request made by staff. Go to the Notification tab to view any of the new requests and select it to view its details.

2. Click the Approval tab to view all staff requests and the status of each request done by the staff. Click on the pending request (blue tab) which needs an approver response.

3. The Approver also will be able to fill up the comment section and response to the request whether to tap the Approve or Reject button. Select ‘Only disclose to approvers’ to limit the comment view to approvers only

4. Any Approved request will change the Tab colour to Green.

Checking In Invited and Pre-registered Visitors

Introduction
Visitors arriving with a QR code can be checked-in through the i-Vizit app at the security guard house.

1. Tap on Scan QR Code.

2. Tap on Visitor’s QR Code and scan the QR code on the Visitor’s phone/tablet

3. Tap Next when done.

4. Fill in the required information accordingly.

i. Tap on Snap Photo (OCR) to access the camera to capture visitor info.

NOTE: Please ensure the IC/ID card is placed in the middle of the tablet card holder.

ii. Tap on the Visitor Pass QR symbol and scan Visitor Pass QR (If any).

iii. Tap on Check-In when done.

Leave Application Feature Next Person to Follow Up Feature.

Introduction
TimeTec Leave New Release v22.11.1.x has introduced us to a new feature for the Leave enhancement feature - Next-person-to-follow-up. Leave Application – Next person-to-follow-up feature is designed to allow the user to appoint their colleague for tasks or work progress. The feature will be set as default (Optional) in the system and application.

This feature allows users to pick another user(s) to follow up with their work / take over their jobs while they are on leave and is only available at TimeTec Leave Web and TimeTec HR.
Note: Users may choose up to 5 users to be notified that they are to follow up on the user's tasks while they are on leave.

When applying for leave using the web application, the user may choose the next person to follow up at the bottom page application.

Once the application is approved, the next person to follow up will be shown on the calendar:

How to Request and Approve Outstation in TimeTec HR App

Introduction
Sometimes there are staff who need to go outstation as company representatives and need to make sure their superior is aware of their attendance status at the office on certain dates. Using the Timetec HR app, the outstation application process will be more convenient for both normal users and approvers. Here we will be discussing how to request and approve outstation via the Timetec HR app.

Process

A. Request Outstation

1. Login to the Timetec HR app > Click on the Feature button.

2. You need to click on the My Request icon.

3. On the new pop-up notification, you need to select Outstation.

4. Click on the + symbol to add a new request on Outstation.

5. You need to fill up all the required information in the request module and click Send button once the information is completed.

6. Once the request is successfully submitted, a new pending request will appear under the Outstation request.

B. Approve Outstation
1. Users who are set as an Outstation approver will receive a notification on their mobile for each request done by their staff.

2. The approver is also able to check any request done by their staff under the notification tab.

3. The approver may click the Approval tab to view all staff requests and the status of each request done by the staff. Click on the pending request (blue tab) which needs the approver's response.

4. The approver can fill up the comment section and respond to the request (Approve or Reject).

5. Once the Approve button is clicked, the request tab will change to green.

6. The user will also receive a notification upon the request being updated to Approved or Rejected.

Face ID 5 External Bell Schedules

Introduction
For big companies or manufacturing that have large premises and noisy environments, they require a Public Address system that can deliver loud sound to indicate the transition of shift or break time to the employees. Taking this factor into account, FingerTec provides an external schedule bell option to fulfill this need. To enable this function in Face ID 5 you will need an update tool.

Step to setup External Schedule Bell
1. Select Menu > Select Personalize > Select Bell Schedules

2. Select Options > choose External Bell or Internal and External Bell > select back for the next settings

3. Select New Bell Schedule > Turn ON Bell Status

4. Select Bell Time > Set time accordingly > select Confirm (OK)

5. Select Repeat > Select the days you want the bell want to repeat > select back for the next settings

6. Select Bell Type > choose External Bell or Internal and External Bell

7. Select Ringtone > Choose Ringtone type > select back for the next settings
*Only for Internal Bell, sound of External Bell depends on what type of External Bell is used.

8. Select Internal bell delay(s) > Choose the duration of sound (in second) for Face ID 5

9. Select External bell delay(s) > Choose the duration of sound (in second) for External Bell or siren

How to connect TimeTec TC10 or TC20 to AWDMS (ATT) & Ingress Software

Introduction
For the latest version of AWDMS and Ingress Software (version 4.2.3.2), you can use TimeTec device model TC10 or TC20 with Ingress Software and AWDMS to capture the transaction log data as attendance in Ingress and AWDMS.

Process
1) If you use LAN connection, configure the IP Address, Subnet Mask and Gateway on your device
Go to Menu > COMM. > Ethernet.

2) Configure the Server Address and Server Port on your device. Go to Menu > COMM. > Cloud Server Setting.

Note: Server Address is your computer IP address where the Ingress and AWDMS are installed. You can check it using Command Prompt and type in ‘ipconfig’.

Server Port is the default port which is 8088 or you can check it in AWDMS. Go to the Attendance module in AWDMS > Device > Search Device.

3) Before you can activate your device in Ingress, you need to make sure that you are able to search it in AWDMS (Attendance). Go to Attendance module > Device > Search Device > Search.
Note: Once the device is found, DO NOT add it via AWDMS. You only need to add it in Ingress.

4) Add the device in Ingress. Go to Devices > Add Device > Set the Device Name > Select AWDMS ATT as Communication Mode > Key in Serial Number and device IP address > Click Add.

Troubleshooting – How to fix duplicate record inside Attendance Sheet (INGRESS MYSQL DATABASE)

Introduction
When managing an attendance system, sometimes you might bump into several issues or problems like a corrupted database or table, which can cause the admin unable to view or generate the Attendance record correctly.

In this article we will guide you on how to fix the duplicate record when you generate the Attendance Sheet on Ingress MySQL database.

Problem & Issue
1. When generating the Attendance Sheet, Ingress system shows a duplicate user with same date and clocking time.

Solution
1. Please go to the User tab and check the list whether you can find a duplicate user with the same User ID or Name. If you find a duplicate user, please remove this user from the system, then download back from the terminal. After that, re-generate the Attendance Sheet and check the result.

2. If the problem persists, please go to the next step by closing the program and open the MySQL manager tools program.

3. If you do not have this MySQL manager tools program, you can download from the link below.

4. Open the SQLyog program and reconnect to the Ingress database. Under Ingress database you need to open Attendance table > right click > select More Table Operation > select Truncate table > Yes.

5. By truncating the Attendance table, you have removed all generated Attendance records from the Ingress system.

6. Close SQLyog manager tools, then run Ingress DB Installer. Run all 3 steps (Test Connection, Update Connection and Upgrade Database)

7. Close Ingress DB Installer, then run Ingress program. Open Attendance tab > select Attendance Sheet > select Generate > select All User and Date Range > Generate.

8. Once completed, check the Attendance records. You can see the duplicate problem has been resolved.

Enable Delivery Module in TimeTec VMS

Introduction

Companies in general, receive multiple deliveries in a day. Companies may require their receptionist to collect personal information from the delivery personnel before admitting them into the premises. For this purpose, TimeTec VMS has introduced a new module called Delivery. This article will demonstrate how to enable the Delivery module to cater for delivery personnel registration.

Process
1. Login as Master Admin to TimeTec VMS web portal. Go to Settings > Visitation Settings

2. Enable the Delivery Settings toggle button.

3. Click on the Edit button to edit or add in courier provider names.

4. Edit or add accordingly, then Save.

5. Scroll down to configure the Location Name. Click on the Edit button to edit or add the location and assign staff.

6. You may click on the Add (+) button to add a new location, rename the location and assign staff accordingly. Each location can be assigned with three staff members. The assigned staff will receive a notification each time the delivery is registered to their location.

7. Once the Delivery module has been enabled, when registering walk-in visitors, there will be a separate tab for visitation (normal visit for meeting, contractor, others) and delivery. Click on the Deliver tab and the +Delivery button to register a delivery visitor.

8. Select Courier name and location. Click on Add delivery location if the delivery to be made at multiple locations within the premise. Then click on Next to proceed with the registration.

9. Insert visitor information and then Next.

10. A success registration message will popup as below when the registration is completed. You may register more visitors, view and print the visitation ticket if required, or close the success message popup screen.

How To Set User Card ID in TimeTec Attendance

Introduction:
TimeTec Attendance conveniently allows the admin the option to add or change user card ID remotely from the system. This article will guide you on how to add or change your user card ID from TimeTec Attendance.

Steps:
A: Manage User Module
Go to User > Manage User > User setting (gear icon)

Select the FingerTec Terminal module to set or do the Card ID changes and select submit button once the changes are done.

Note: After the changes are done, you may proceed with step C to re-upload the user to the device to apply the changes. The step is compulsory because the terminal data won't be automatically updated based on changes in TimeTec Attendance.

B: Assign User to Device Module
Go to DEVICE > Assign user to device > Click on the edit button

Go to Card ID > Fill in the Card ID > Select submit button to apply the changes on TimeTec Attendance.

C: Re-upload the user to the device to apply the changes on the user card ID
1. Go to DEVICE > Terminal > Webster & Smart DBS (FingerTec & ZK Teco)
2. Select the device you want to replace the user's information > Select Manage Terminal > Upload User.

3. Select the user > Click on Submit button to proceed with the process.

Manage and View Visitors in the Dashboard of TimeTec VMS Website for Admin

Introduction
TimeTec VMS is a cloud-based Visitor Management System designed to better manage and monitor visitors in a building or an office. The system is an automated visitor management system where all visitor information is screened before the visits, providing a safe environment for the company. The TimeTec VMS also secures visitor information, available for future use and reference. In this article, we will demonstrate how the admin can manage and monitor visitors from the TimeTec VMS web portal Dashboard.

Process
A. Admin View
1. Login into the TimeTec VMS website using admin credentials. Go to Dashboard which is the homepage of the TimeTec VMS website.

2. Visitor lists are divided into three categories based on their visitation status: Expected, Checked-In and Checked-Out.

3. The Expected category will display visitors that have been invited or pre-registered, waiting for their arrival, and are being checked in by the admin/security/front desk officer. You may view visitor information including the host they are meeting with and the expected arrival date and time. The system admin will have access to check the visitor in by clicking on the check-in button under the Edit column.

4. For the Check-In category, visitors that have been registered via the Walk-In registration method or pre-registered visitors that have been checked in will be displayed in the list. You may view their information including the checked-in date and time. For system admin, there will be a checkout button under the Edit column to check the visitors out.

5. Selecting the Checked Out category will display the visitors that have been checked out by the system. You may view visitors' information including their checked-in and checked-out time.

6. By default, the date for the display will be for today’s list. You may filter to view the records of yesterday, the last 7 days, the last 30 days, the last 60 days or all the time.

7. Clicking on the search button will enable the search box for each field where you may insert the keyword to search visitors.

8. To filter the column, you may click on the Column Filter button and select the fields to be included in the display. Please note that you may only select up to 8 columns at a time.

9. Clicking on the visitor’s name will open the visitor's information page. You may review visitor’s details, check-in and checked-out activities and visitation details. You may also block visitors from here to restrict them from future visits. Once blacklisted, the system will pop up an error message upon inserting the visitor’s ID number for registration.

How to Solve the Failed to Upgrade Database Error in Ingress MySQL Software

Introduction
Whenever a user is unable to launch Ingress software, it will require you to run Ingress DB Installer to connect the software with the database again and complete the steps Test Connection > Update Connection > Upgrade Database.
Sometimes, when it comes to Upgrade Database, an error message “Failed to Upgrade Database” will appear. This error message occurs due to some of the tables in the Ingress database having crashed or being corrupted. The following tips provide you with a solution to resolve this problem quickly.

1. Download the SQL yog community software from the link according to your operating system.

• For an operating system in 64-bit please download SQL yog from:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/SQLyog_Community/SQLyog+12.2.1/SQLyog-12.2.1-0.x64Community.exe

• For an operating system in 32-bit, please download SQL yog from:
https://s3.amazonaws.com/SQLyog_Community/SQLyog+12.2.1/SQLyog-12.2.1-0.x86Community.exe

2. After successfully installing the SQL Community, please run the software to connect with the MYSQL database. First, you need to fill in the required Host address, Username and Port of the MYSQL database. Then, click on Test Connection and Connect.

3. Upon connecting to the localhost database, you should see on the left panel of the window a list of the Ingress database. Next, click on Tools > Table Diagnostic.

4. Next, select ingress database > Tick Use_Frm, Local and Extended checkbox > Click on Repair.

5. Please wait until the Repair process is completed and Table Diagnostic Information will prompt out. Then, you can click OK to close the windows.

6. Next, tick the Local checkbox and click Optimization. Once completed, it will prompt out Table Diagnostic Information.

7. Once the Repair and Optimization are completed, please run Ingress DB Installer. Complete all the steps Test Connection > Update Connection > Upgrade Database. When you click Upgrade Database, you will not face the ‘’Failed to Upgrade Database error’’ anymore.

How to Request and Approve Overtime in Timetec HR App

Introduction
Some companies do not provide Overtime for all staff. Staff entitled to overtime need to request overtime approval from their approver before they can proceed to work overtime. Using the Timetec HR app, the overtime application process will be more convenient for both regular users and approvers. Here we will be discussing how to request and approve overtime via the Timetec HR app.

Process
A. Request Overtime

1. Login to the Timetec HR app > Click on the Options button.

2. Click on the My Request icon.

3. On the new pop-up notification, select Overtime.

4. Click on the + symbol to add a new overtime request.

5. Fill up all the required information in the request module and click the Submit button once the data is filled in.
Remark: Any user who is set as an Admin in the system’s role, can apply Overtime for themselves and also on behalf of other users.

6. Once the request is successfully submitted, a new pending request will appear under the Overtime request.

B. Approve Overtime

1. Users who are set as Overtime approvers will receive a notification on their mobile for each request submitted by their staff.

2. The approver can also check any request done by their staff under the notifications tab.

3. The approver may click the Approval tab to view all staff requests and the status of each request done by the staff. Click on the pending request (blue tab) which needs an approver response.

4. The approver can fill in the comment section and respond to the request (Approve or Reject).

5. Once the Approve button is clicked, the request tab will change to green.

3 Ways to View Your Attendance Data in TimeTec HR

Introduction

Timetec HR is the latest mobile application that Timetec just launched which we called the “Super App”. This newest application combines 4 modules (TA, Leave, Claim and Access) under one application which will reduce the hassle for the user to view multiple modules. Here, we will guide you on the steps to view your own attendance data.

Process

A. Dashboard

1. You may login to the Timetec HR application using the login credential set in the system. Once you log in to the mobile application, you will automatically be set to the Timetec TA application homepage and under clocking tab.

2. To view the Dashboard information, you need to click on the Dashboard tab which is set beside the Clocking tab. Under Dashboard information, you can view your total working time, remaining working time and overtime which is depending on your working schedule.

B. Attendance

To view the Attendance data, you need to click the 4 small box symbols on the top right corner of the homepage and click on the Attendance icon.

1. Under the Attendance tab, you can view your clocking attendance based on the filtered date range.

2. You can filter the attendance range date by clicking the Today icon (Default).

C. Clocking History

1. From the homepage, you can view your Last Clocking data including the date, time, clocking type and clocking option. You are also able to view your previous clocking data by clicking on the Last Clocking tab at the bottom of the homepage.

Remark: Only successful clocking will appear under the clocking history.

Monitoring Patrol Records in TimeTec Patrol (Mobile App)

Introduction
Timing is very important in security and having the guards equipped with a tool that assists them in reporting is very crucial for any security firm. The TimeTec Patrol App was developed to improve the way guards handle and address their patrolling activities straight from their smartphones. In this article, we will demonstrate how to monitor patrol records in the timetec patrol mobile application.

Process
1. Open TimeTec Patrol Application and click the Patrol Records on the main screen.

2. In the Patrol Records tab, You may find the scheduled time range of the tour & the assigned guards as well as their patrolling routes.

3 Once you click on any assigned guard, you will be able to see the assigned checkpoints,
Scan time from the start of the tour until the end of the tour which has been set for the guards.
Each checkpoint should be patrolled within the specified time frame

4. From the record displayed, Green dots mean that the guards have successfully performed
Scanning according to the specified time while Red dots represents Tardiness during their
patrolling. If you click on the arrow you will be able to see the tardiness record

AWDMS Setup Tools Not Responding or Not Running Completely

Introduction
To use Face ID 5 or Smart AC/1 device series with Ingress Software, it is required to Install AWDMS. During the installation of AWDMS, it is required to run the AWDMS setup tool once the AWDMS installation is completed. This setup tool will create a database for AWDMS which is located on your MySQL Server. However, there will be several errors which you might find when running the setup tools. The following error that you might find is the AWDMS setup tools not responding or not running completely which will cause the AWDMS installation to not be completed accordingly.

The issue above will be shown due to the Windows account log-in not having sufficient privileges or in other words, the Windows account is not logged in as Administrator. The Administrator account also must be able to access any folder and have privileges to start services so AWDMS or the Fingertec Software is able to be installed successfully. You will need to get help from IT personnel to configure the correct user account before you can proceed with the installation. You may also refer to the following steps to give access to the BioSecurity folder.

1. After AWDMS is installed, go to C:\Program Files and find the BioSecurity folder. Right click and go to properties > security tab.

2. Click edit > tick each permission > apply. Repeat for all Groups or usernames.

3. Click OK to complete the configuration. Then run again the AWDMS setup tools (AWDMSSetup.exe and awdms.bat) accordingly and once the tools are completed, restart your computer once.

Troubleshoot Alarm Triggered From Face ID 5/TD/FTD

Introduction
An alarm is very important to notify a user if something is happening to the device or the access system. However, users sometimes do not know what causes the alarm to trigger. Here, we will show you how to troubleshoot what caused the alarm to trigger.

Step 1:
- First, check the alarm symbol from the top right corner of the device.

Step 2:
- Please check and make sure the tamper switch (magnet) is perfectly fit to the back casing.

Step 3:
- Check door sensor setting:-
Go to MENU -> Access Control -> Access Control Options -> Door Sensor Type -> Select ‘NONE’ if you don’t use door sensor.

*Notes: If you are using a door sensor and the alarm is still making a sound, please check your door sensor wiring.

Step 4:
- Please restart the device after all the settings above have been done.

Alarm triggered for external siren:
External alarm will trigger if you set up one of these settings on the device:-

1. Temperature over the range and mask detection
- Go to MENU – System – detection management

2. Door alarm.
- It will trigger when the door does not close after the time set on the device is up.(go to MENU – Access Control – Access Control Options)

3. Verification failure:
- Go to MENU – Access Control – Duress Options

Kadex External Siren

FingerTec’s Kadex terminal can be customised to support an external siren which is useful in alerting employees to make sure doors close properly after opening them to enter the premise or office. An external siren is also triggered when someone tried to force open the door without verifying the kadex terminal and if someone dismantles the Kadex device from where it’s installed.

If you have more than 1 person in your home unit, you can turn on visitor notification sharing through your I-Neighbour app. This allows everyone in your family, registered under your main account, to receive information on their respective devices iNeighbour app.

i-Vizit : Checking In Expected Arrivals

Visitors who were invited by residents can quickly check in when they arrived at the residence through the i-Vizit app at the security guard house.

How to check in expected arrivals
1. After receiving an invitation to the residence and registering through the link provided, a notification will appear on the i-Vizit app under Expected Arrivals. Tap on Expected Arrivals to proceed.

2. Tap the Check In icon or the visitors name for more options

3. After checking if visitor info is correct, tap the check in button.

4. Select Visitor Pass

5. Tap Check In after selection.

Troubleshooting Guide - Unable to Download User Data from AWDMS into Ingress Software

Introduction
Since we have introduced new Face ID5 devices, there is a certain issue expressed by clients when they are managing their system and user data on the Ingress software and AWDMS program.

One of these issues is that they cannot download user data from AWDMS or Face ID5 devices into the Ingress program, although the data was already available inside the devices and the AWDMS program. So, in this article, we will guide you on how to troubleshoot this issue and fixing the problem.

Problem & Issue
1. User data not showing inside the Ingress program when trying to download even though the data was available inside AWDMS & Face ID5 devices.

Solution
1. Check the database table using SQLyog or SQL manager tools to confirm whether it was already available or not by going to SQLyog > select AWDMS > check table acc_person and pers_person.

2. If data is blank (not available) this means there is a problem with the connection between AWDMS and MySQL server database. You can proceed to the next step

3. Close the Ingress Server program & AWDMS. Run back AWDMS Setup tools or refer to this article (https://www.fingertectips.com/2022/07/troubleshoot-issue-during-awdms-setup.html)

4. Open and run back both the Ingress and AWDMS programs.

5. Inside the Ingress program go to System Setting > WDMS Configuration > AWDMS Information > Run Test Connection. Make sure it is successful and connected to the server.

6. Then you can try to re-download the User data on the Ingress program and check whether the User data was already available or not.
