Just a little warning for people buying "Finn Damascus" puukko knives online. NOT made in Finland! It seems to me that the seller is an international student in Finland, but the knives are made in Pakistan... it's pretty funny to call those puukko knives? :-)Not good for the real puukko makers in Finland!!

Harri Merimaa's new Lapland leuku style hunting puukko knife. Beautiful combination of functionality and Nordic tradition. Handle is stained birch with reindeer antler, treated surface feels "rough" so it won't slip even when working in wet conditions. Blade is, as always, high quality carbon steel. Very pretty and practical knife to have on a hunting or camping trip!

Got couple of WoodsKnife wolf puukkos... why didn't I get these before?! This is very nice, light weight and versatile puukko knife! I would consider this one a basic camping - bushcrafting - hunting puukko, the kind you can use anywhere. Like all WoodsKnife models, this one is full tang and has quite big handle, but it also has a hint of a finger guard. All in all, very nice knife!

This one is Deer Knives' Hunting Puukko Knife. Deer Knives is located on Finland's West Coast. These are handmade using traditional methods and materials. There has been no power machines involved with assembling this knife at all! The sheath is hand sawed and fits the knife perfectly! The blade is forged by Antti Makinen, young Master Black Smith and blade maker in Finland. Antti is 6th generation blade maker and has rapidly risen to be one of the best black smiths. You can see the quality of his work when you have one of these knives in your hand! This blade is absolutely gorgeous! He stamps "YP" on every blade (YP-Taonta) and you can guarantee the sharpness of the blade! True traditional Finnish craftsmanship!

This is Merimaa at his best... simple, practical and beautiful! This puukko comes with 3" blade and nice 4 1/2" curly birch handle. The sheath is once again, individually made for each knife and has WK Finland logo on it. The knife is available in natural color and stained handles. This a great tool for everyday use from camping to hunting. These are all full tang knives.

An attractive combination of RARE Goat Willow burl with white reindeer antler spacers finished with great precision and expertise. Feels very smooth and comfortable in your hand!

"Jylmä Suihkiäijä" is a collectable leuku knife and has a serial number 263 and maker's signature at the back of the case. On the top of the case there are traditional Lapland "God of Wind", reindeer herd and 2 hunters by lavvu (like Native American tepee) and the symbol of reliability burnt on the antler.

Paaso Knives have created new, but traditional style puukko knife for everyday use. This puukko has layered arctic birch in the handle and 3 1/8" high carbon steel blade. The shape of the handle is traditional for Nordic knives and feels great in your hand!

I really like this one! I thought Harri's fishing knife style was awesome and the stainless steel on that one is good... but I love my carbon steel! This knife has the same style as the fishing knife but with high carbon steel. The shape of the blade is one of my favorites! 3" long and almost an inch wide... perfect size to carry with you in any type of outdoors activity! New, simple style sheath on this one also with a snapping belt loop.

Harri Merimaa has designed some new knives again, this time thinking of the coming summer and all fishermen! This beautiful knife has pretty straight curly birch/ reindeer antler handle with 2 leather and brass stripes. The blade is 3" long and 15/16" wide making it a perfect size for most tasks you need when heading to shore for fishing.

Sheath is individually made, natural color leather with a snapping belt loop. A new sheath model from Harri again. This really is a nice looking/ feeling fishing companion!

Harri Merimaa has made a new version of his popular high carbon folding knife. WK-2 model is stained curly birch and comes with a handmade leather case. This model, as new WK-1, will come without wooden gift box. WK-2 is also slightly thicker on the sides than WK-1... like all Woodsknife knives, this is a great working tool!

This can be purchased in mid of March.
