Almost one year ago we decided to create a blog.</div>

We had the idea to document our creative journey.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I hoped that it would not only grow our relationship as mother and daughter, but also as individuals.</div>

Life happened.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I was diagnosed with breast cancer.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have had the surgery.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I have finished chemotherapy.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Last week, in fact.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
I am waiting for radiation.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
More than ever before, I want to make stuff.</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
Life gets too busy - work, school, family, other people.... all excuses</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
Live each day as though it's your last,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>make</b> time,</div>
<div style="text-align: left;">

<div style="text-align: left;">
<b>believe</b> anything is possible.</div>

Finn made something pretty. I wanted to make something with an Australian feel. This proved harder than I first planned. There is very little Australian themed bits out there. I kept mine raw and natural, like much of the landscape. I wanted to include gum leafs and gumnuts, but decided against it - I didn't want any trouble with customs! We were not sure how far to go, so decided to keep it simple to start with. We hope that the other swappers will not be disappointed.</div>
