Fort Sill Resolute Partners is discontinuing service for about 200 customers who use the service for Internet, sending texts and checking email in the following buildings:
1602,1603, 2025, 2428, 2429, 2470, 2471, 3420, 3430, 912, 913 and 900.
Resolute customers can call 866-277-1338 for information about refunds.
Interim service can be purchased from any of the provider kiosks in the exchange during regular business hours.
A new provider was scheduled to start July 31 but post officials are working to move up that date.

Fort Sill Non-Resident Active Duty Families,
It was brought to my attention that there was a misprint in the Cannoneer published on Thursday, 18 June, reference the Fort Sill and Corvias Military Living Old Cavalry Post pool pilot program. The Cannoneer article mistakenly said there would be no charge for use of the pool. We apologize for this incorrect information. There will be a nominal fee as described below. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Fort Sill and Corvias Old Cavalry Post pool pilot program:
Non-resident active-duty military families can obtain a day or season pool pass. Pool passes will only be issued during normal business hours of the Corvias Old Cavalry Post Community Center.
Daily pass fees will be $5 per day for an individual or $15 for a family. Season pass fees will be $50 for an individual or $150 for a family season pass and will be valid through the end of pool season, Monday, September 7. All money received from pool fees will be reinvested into the housing program to maintain and operate the amenity.
Non-residents must have a pool pass in order to gain entry to the Old Calvary Post Pool. We encourage swimmers to obtain this pass in advance from the Old Cavalry Post Community Center located at 1433 Fort Sill Boulevard. The office is open Monday - Friday: 8 a.m. – 6 p.m., Saturday: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Passes will not be available at the gated entrance to the pool.
Swimmers will need to bring their Military ID, DEERS, and completed Pool Use Addendum in order to gain a pool pass. As a reminder, non-resident swimmers will not be allowed to bring guests.
Payment for non-resident pool passes will be accepted via check, debit card or credit card only. Please contact the Old Cavalry Post Community Center at 580-581-2140 for any questions or concerns.
As a reminder, the Quinette/Patriot Club outdoor pool and Rinehart Gym indoor pool are free to military and their families.
Again, we apologize for any confusion and hope you enjoy a fun weekend and summer season at all the pools on Fort Sill.

* Pool pilot badges for non-resident, active duty military with dependents will be issued during normal business hours at the Old Cavalry Post Community Center located at 1433 Fort Sill Blvd.

Fort Sill Leaders, in partnership with Corvias Military Living, have decided to start a pilot program for non-resident Active Duty Families to use the Old Cavalry Post Community Center Pool. The pilot program will begin on 20 June and will last for the remainder of the 2015 pool season.
This decision is in line with my strategy to provide unparalleled support to the Fort Sill community. The good news is the occupancy of Fort Sill homes is currently 91%; unfortunately, everyone who wants to live on post may not have the opportunity based on availability. Making this pool available as a pilot program is just one way to show how deeply we care about all our Soldiers and Family members.
Once complete, the pilot program will assist with evaluating interest and impact to pools on Fort Sill. Feedback from this pilot program will be forthcoming when the data is collected. Have a great summer season and be safe in all your outdoor activities.

To ensure sufficient water for all uses during summer, Fort Sill leaders are instituting a voluntary water restriction.
The restriction is a call for voluntary action to limit water
usage. Residents are asked to limit the watering of lawns to the hours between midnight and 9 a.m. every other day. Even numbered street addresses will water on even days and odd numbered street address will water on odd numbered days

The award recognizes an Army National Guard company grade officer and a noncommissioned officer in operational units whose leadership, performance, and contributions to the Guard's field artillery or air defense artillery branches merit national recognition.
Special guests in attendance included Sgt. Maj. Brian Tyler, Fires Center of Excellence's Army National Guard Senior Enlisted Advisor, Col. Matthew Hearon, 164th ADA Brigade commander and Lt. Col. Jeff Strickle, 3-265th ADA commander.
During the ceremony, Tyler congratulated them on a highly successful Joint Readiness Training Center (JRTC) rotation.
Hearon summarized the award presentation in a few words, "I'm very proud of the fact that Capt. Mays and 1st Sgt. Carlton won the William C. Bilo Award, which is an award that is traditionally given to field artillery Soldiers," said Hearon. "I'm also proud of Bravo Battery completing the first post 9/11 JRTC rotation for air defense in the Army National Guard. This rotation proved how valuable our air defenders are to a brigade combat team."
Strickle also showed his appreciation, "Captain Mays and 1st Sgt. Carlton exemplify outstanding leadership that prioritizes teamwork, mission performance, and Soldier care, as was evidenced by their highly successful JRTC rotation," said Strickle. "I'm very proud of Bravo Battery's accomplishments and these two leaders' recognition as the top company grade officer and first sergeant amongst the artillery ranks in the Army National Guard".
The 3-265th ADA has mobilized Soldiers in support of Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and Noble Eagle and supported relief efforts in Florida after numerous hurricanes.

The accident in the photo happened in Germany last week. Don't let it happen to you at Fort Sill. As most of you know by now, we have about 3,000 National Guard soldiers on Fort Sill conducting their annual training. They will be here for another week, until June 16. There will be massive troop and equipment movements at certain times. Therefore, North Boundary Road is closed to civilian traffic until June 16. This means you will NOT be able to use North Boundary Road to get from LETRA to Apache Gate. Signs are posted at 4 Mile and 10 Mile crossings denying access to the training areas between those two points. They are big flashing electric signs with real words on them, so saying you didn't see the sign means you may need your vision checked and your license revoked. Range operations will close the low water crossings at 4 Mile and 10 Mile crossings between 8 a.m. and noon on June 8, 12 and 16 for large troop movements those days. LETRA Gate will be open each day from 6 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for civilian traffic until June 16. Blue Beaver Valley Road (just west of LETRA) will be accesible and crosses the range from North Boundary Road to McKenzie Hill Road on the south. Fort Sill Police will issue tickets for being in a closed area. Besides, I don't care how big your truck is or how cool your fast car is, it's no match for a Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Truck (HEMMET) or an MLRS. You lose. Then we could lose you.
