Even companies like MicroSoft are sponsoring MMA, as can be seen by this quote;

Chargers vs Steelers

I just finished watching the Charger vs Steelers game. And while I am sad that the Chargers did not win, I feel like they played a good game, but the Steelers were just the better team on this day.

The Chargers have made it to the playoffs over the last three seasons. I'm hoping they continue with that trend. I hope they come back next year and give us a better season.

Is Brock Lesnar the Real Thing?

After his big win over former UFC champion Randy Couture, is there any doubt that Brock Lesnar is the real thing. I don't think so, but many sports journalist still have some questions.

In an article titled Despite impressive win, Lesnar still a work in progress by Franklin McNeil makes the point that there is some up and coming competition for Brock who are closer to his age and size.

The LA Times' Lance Pugmire reports in his article Brock Lesnar defeats Randy Couture that Lesnar likes playing the bad guy, kind of like he did when he was a World Wrestling Entertainment Champion.

While I think that Lesnar is for real and will be a force in the UFC for a while now, it will also be nice to see someone give him some competition.

The NFL Films presentation of this event in which the playing surface was referred to as "the frozen tundra of Lambeau Field" has been the source of endless imitation and parody.
