Virus detection and its removal are mode through an antivirus or with some other security program. Different antivirus programs are available in the market and over Internet. The most common and famous security technique against viruses is as under:

Virus Signature/ Virus Definition
Virus signature is a known pattern of code of a code of a virus program; this pattern is used by antivirus program to detect viruses and then to remove these viruses. You should update virus definition continuously by downloading updates from Internet. This ensures that your antivirus is always able to detect changing viruses.

Inoculation
Inoculation file is separate file created and maintained by antivirus program to record information like file size and file creation date. This information later on is used for virus detection and removal.

Quarantine
Quarantine is a separate area on a hard disk. It contains the infected files and folders that cannot be cleared or deleted by antivirus due to some reason, for example sharing violation or unknown virus for that antivirus.

Recovery Disk
Recovery disk is a removable disk that holds un-infected system commands and startup information. In case the boot record of actual hard disk fails, this recovery disk can be used to start the computer. Afterwards an antivirus program can be used to remove the virus.

Un-authorized access
Accessing a computer system without the knowledge or permission of its user is called unauthorized access. It is always recommended to restrict computer resources with the help of usernames and passwords. These are unique combination of characters to identify users and their secret codes respectively.

Firewall
Firewall is a security system consisting of hardware and software to prevent unauthorized access of a network or computer. Big companies use a separate computer firewall software or hardware to protect their date from unauthorized access. Firewall check outgoing and incoming traffic and manage data access to the authorized users only.

Biometric Devices
A biometric device reads personal characteristics like fingerprints hand structure, facial features, and voice recognition to authenticate a user for any further access to a computer system or other peripheral devices. A biometric device translates the personal characteristics into digital code that is matched to already store user data in that system. If the digital data matches with any of the stored data, it gives access to the person. In case of no match, the access is denied.

The legendary beauty of Mount Ophir (Gunung Ledang) has made it one of Johor's most popular attractions for hikers and birdwatchers. There two known ways of reaching the summit. One is from Sagil, a town in Johor, the other is through Asahan, Melaka. The shorter route is from Asahan. Gunung Ledang ( or Mount Ophir as it is otherwise better known ) is the most visited mountain in Malaysia. It is not peculiar to find people who has climb the mountain more than 10 times. The reason being, the place is easily accessible and suitable for beginners who wants to feel what mountains in Malaysia are really like. Some groups are using this mountain as a training ground for other challenging venues.

The Ledang trail starts from Gunung Ledang resort, near Sagil village is close to the Malacca and Johor border. The other way of reaching the summit is through Asahan trail in Melaka, an easier route. The paved road starts besides the river leading and leads towards a few staircases till an open gate, where the real climbing begins.

Gunung Ledang is believed to have the richest flora species in the world. It has a 50 metres high waterfall with a wide drop of 50 metres. It has icy cool waters charge down upon large boulders, then break into rushing rapids before plugging into the large sandy pool below. This waterfall, discovered some 50 years ago, is name the "Puteri Waterfalls". Over the period it has witnessed thousands of tourists almost every week, picnicking, backpacking or just bathing in the refreshing water of the pool. You'll see giant butterflies, brightly coloured spiders amidst wild tropical flowers of bright yellow, crimson and orange.

Crickets and frogs singing song of the jungle, chirping sounds of birds become the music of this tropical wonderland. The summit was just beyond the boulders. There's a flat ground revealed at the summit of Gunung Ledang at 4187ft. Wide and flat, mystical and lovely. I can get a panoramic view of Segamat and Jementah town of Johor, and the historical Melaka.

Movie Review : Iron Man

Much of the allure of "Iron Man" comes from the fact that we are indeed talking about a man -- a real man who has lived a life and made mistakes and experienced regret -- not some scrawny, teenage boy who received his superhero powers through a bite from a radioactive spider. No offense to Spidey, the other Marvel Comics hero who's already provided billion-dollar summer blockbuster fodder. But there's just something more relatable about Tony Stark, even though he's a playboy industrialist of staggering wealth and arrogance. And in the hands of Robert Downey Jr., he's absolutely riveting. Downey may have seemed an unlikely casting choice at first, but it's difficult to imagine any other actor in the role; he's so quick-witted and he makes such inspired decisions with dialogue that, at times, might have seemed corny otherwise. Throughout his eclectic career -- from "Less Than Zero" and "Chaplin" to "Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang" and "Zodiac" -- he's always been capable of both great charisma and vulnerability, and both are beautifully on display in this, the biggest movie of his life. "Iron Man" is a blast, too -- the perfect start to the summer with its shiny mix of visual effects, elaborate set pieces and plenty of humor within its intelligent script.

This is also the biggest movie of director Jon Favreau's life following "Made," "Elf" and "Zathura," and he juggles all the complicated, expensive toys deftly. The visual effects come courtesy of the venerable Industrial Light & Magic, with Matthew Libatique ("Requiem for a Dream," "Inside Man") providing the crisp cinematography. The first moments of "Iron Man" give us a telling glimpse of Tony: a close-up of his hand, cradling a tumbler of Scotch on the rocks, as he rides in the back seat of a Humvee that's rumbling across the Afghanistan desert. He's the brilliant and talented head of Stark Industries, the leading supplier of weapons to the U.S. military, and he banters comfortably with the soldiers who have been assigned to protect him during a trip to demonstrate his latest missile. They, in turn, are in awe of his high-flying ways. But things go awry almost immediately. The Humvee is attacked by insurgents and Tony is abducted. While in captivity, with a battery attached to his heart to keep him alive, he's ordered to reconstruct the missile. Instead, with the help of the doctor who saved him (a graceful Shaun Toub), he's crafty enough to create a suit of armor and become a weapon himself to escape.

Tony returns home to his monstrosity of a mansion that's carved into the face of a Malibu cliff but looks more like an old set from "The Jetsons." He's a changed man, and the changes he has welcomed to his life and company also bring enemies. His top executive Obadiah Stane (Jeff Bridges, deliciously villainous with a shaved head and devilish goatee) is appalled at Tony's new purpose -- to no longer make weapons. But Stane insists, "What we do keeps the world from falling into chaos."

It's an anti-war argument in the multilayered script from the writing teams of Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby, and Art Marcum and Matt Holloway, but the delivery is hardly heavy-handed. The original "Iron Man" comic book that inspired the film took place in the 1960s during the Vietnam War, and Tony Stark was relevant, functioning as an important, fervently anti-communist cog within the military-industrial complex. Moving the film's action to Afghanistan and the present day makes it just as relevant in its own way. In his tricked-out underground workshop, his own personal bat cave, Tony creates his Iron Man uber-suit, even though he's not quite sure what to do with it once he's finished: the right thing, perhaps, for the first time in his life?

His right-hand woman, Pepper Potts, stuck by him and kept his life organized when he was a shallow pig, but seems to like the more enlightened Tony better. (In another unexpected bit of casting, Gwyneth Paltrow brings understated smarts and class to the role.) Meanwhile, his best friend, Rhodey, an Air Force colonel played by an underused Terrence Howard, just seems confused by this person he no longer thinks he knows.

Tony undergoes plenty of trials and errors on the road to becoming Iron Man, which are both amusing and thrilling. But the moment he finally climbs inside that streamlined, rocket-propelled, red-and-gold suit -- with its perfectly intertwined pieces that lock together like the most comfy, high-tech pair of ski boots -- will surely cause the hearts of geeks and non-geeks alike to go pitter-patter.

But because the build up is so successfully engaging, the ending feels like a letdown. It's just plain silly watching versatile, Oscar-nominated actors behave like a couple of middle-aged Transformers. That's merely one bump in an otherwise satisfying ride, though. And there's plenty of opportunity for improvement: The last line clearly sets up a sequel. But you knew that was ironclad from the beginning.

"Iron Man," a Paramount Pictures release, is rated PG-13 for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and brief suggestive content. Running time: 126 minutes. Three and a half stars out of four.

Mitsubishi launches Evo X in Japan

Mitsubishi Motors Corporation has launched its Lancer Evolution X high-performance 4WD sedan in Japan. The vehicle is offered in its domestic market in GSR trim level, with a number of option packages that can be tacked on, these being a high performance package, an exterior styling package and leather combination interior. Also available, a Premium Package, which combines all the above packages and adds 18-inch BBS lightweight alloy wheels. The Evo X is also available as a RS competition base model, the latter coming with less comprehensive and simplified equipment specification to reduce weight to a minimum.

While the basic exterior shape is very much from the standard Lancer, the front end has been tweaked with larger air intake openings and new ducting to lend the vehicle a more aggressive look. New to the form, an engine hood air scoop and air outlet, as well as fender vents. At the rear, an oversized rear spoiler uses a twisted-section wing panel with different attack angles at its ends and in the centre portion to match the airflow over the body surface. A large undercover rectifies underbody airflow for better aerodynamics and also improves drivetrain cooling, and there's a lower rear bumper diffuser to help exhaust the underbody airflow more effectively.

The exterior styling package option uses a chrome finish for the front grille lattice and beltline molding, body colour-keyed fender vents and adds fog lamps to the equation. The new platform makes a significant increase in body stiffness, with gains being 40% better torsional and 60% better flexural stiffness over the Evo IX MR.

Power comes from a turbocharged 4B11-type 2.0l four-cylinder twin-cam pot, delivering 276bhp (206kW) and 422Nm of torque. The new engine, excluding auxiliary equipment, is 12kg lighter than the 4G63 thanks to the use of a die-cast aluminium cylinder block, head cover and chain case. The 4B11 is of course the same base engine as featured in the Lancer 2.0GT here and Galant Fortis in Japan, though revisions have of course been made for its use on the Evo X.
Using a titanium-aluminum alloy turbine wheel and aluminum alloy compressor wheel, the turbocharger features a shape-optimized compressor wheel that improves boost response and increases low-end and mid-range torque.

The adoption of a rearward facing exhaust manifold layout has, as well as improving exhaust efficiency, allowed the engine to be mounted lower, lowering the centre of gravity. Other innovations have reduced intake/exhaust system losses and valvetrain friction, contributing to improved engine performance.

The GSR is available with the new Twin Clutch SST six-speed automated manual transmission, which puts odd (1st, 3rd, 5th) and even (2nd, 4th and 6th) gears on separate input shafts each with its own clutch. The system allows the driver to choose between Autoshift fully automatic shifting and Manual Shift, where the driver can change gears as with a manual transmission. A toggle switch located at the base of the shift selector allows the driver to choose between Normal, Sport and Super Sport modes for the optimum shift scheduling. The GSR is also available with a new five-speed manual transmission (the RS version is only available with this manual gearbox). First to fourth gears use close ratios; 1st uses a lower ratio than previously for better standing acceleration, while 5th gear uses a higher ratio for more comfortable high-speed cruising. The new transmission uses multi-cone synchroniser rings on all gears for smoother shifting and a more positive shift feel as well as for improved durability.

The GSR trim level comes with the S-AWC (Super All Wheel Control) 4WD vehicle dynamics control system as standard, with three operating modes present — Tarmac for dry, paved surfaces; Gravel for wet or unmade surfaces, and Snow for snow covered surfaces. Active Stability Control (ASC) has been added to the ACD (Active Center Differential), AYC (Active Yaw Control) and Sport ABS component systems featured in previous Evo.

While continuing on the MacPherson strut front and multi-link rear suspension arrangement used on previous models in the series, the Evo X features a revamped suspension layout with wider tracks and 18-inch tires. The GSR comes standard with 245/40R18 tyres sitting on 18-inch Enkei 12-spoke high-rigidity cast alloy wheels. As a factory-fitted option, 18-inch BBS lightweight alloy wheels are also available. The factory-fitted high performance package is made up of Bilstein single tube shock absorbers and Eibach coil springs, as seen on the Evo IX MR. It also includes Brembo two-piece disc brakes, lighter by 1.3kg per piece over the standard Brembo discs, and high performance tires with stiffer walls and better grip.

Five body colours are offered in GSR trim, including a vividly sporty Red Metallic and a new classy and deep-hue Phantom Black Pearl, while the RS is offered in two body colours, including White Solid which is exclusive to this trim level.

Arowanas, also known as aruanas or arawanas are freshwater bony fish of the family Osteoglossidae, sometimes known as "bony tongues." In this family of fishes, the head is bony and the elongate body is covered by large, heavy scales, with a mosaic pattern of canals. The dorsal and the anal fins have soft rays and are long based, while the pectoral and ventral fins are small. The name 'bony tongues' is derived from a toothed bone on the floor of the mouth, the 'tongue', equipped with teeth that bite against teeth on the roof of the mouth. The fish can obtain oxygen from air by sucking it into the swim bladder, which is lined with capillaries like lung tissue. The arapaima is an "obligatory air breather".

Paranormal Places : Bermuda Triangle

The "Bermuda Triangle" or "Devil's Triangle" is an imaginary area located off the southeastern Atlantic coast of the United States of America, which is noted for a supposedly high incidence of unexplained disappearances of ships and aircraft. The apexes of the triangle are generally believed to be Bermuda; Miami, Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The US Board of Geographic Names does not recognize the Bermuda Triangle as an official name. The US Navy does not believe the Bermuda Triangle exists. It is reported that Lloyd's of London, the world's leading market for specialist insurance, does not charge higher premiums for vessels transiting this heavily traveled area.

The most famous US Navy losses which have occurred in the area popularly known as the Bermuda Triangle are USS Cyclops in March 1918 and the aircraft of Flight 19 in December 1945. The ship probably sank in an unexpected storm, and the aircraft ran out of fuel and crashed into the ocean -- no physical traces of them have ever been found. Another well known disappearance is the civilian tanker SS Marine Sulphur Queen carrying bulk molten sulfur which sank in February 1963. Although the wreck of Marine Sulphur Queen has not been located, a life preserver and other floating artifacts were recovered. These disappearances have been used to provide credence to the popular belief in the mystery and purported supernatural qualities of the "Bermuda Triangle."

Since the days of early civilization many thousands of ships have sunk and/or disappeared in waters around the world due to navigational and other human errors, storms, piracy, fires, and structural/mechanical failures. Aircraft are subject to the same problems, and many of them have crashed at sea around the globe. Often, there were no living witnesses to the sinking or crash, and hence the exact cause of the loss and the location of the lost ship or aircraft are unknown. A large number of pleasure boats travel the waters between Florida and the Bahamas. All too often, crossings are attempted with too small a boat, insufficient knowledge of the area's hazards, and a lack of good seamanship.

A significant factor with regard to missing vessels in the Bermuda Triangle is a strong ocean current called the Gulf Stream. It is extremely swift and turbulent and can quickly erase evidence of a disaster. The weather also plays its role. Prior to the development of telegraph, radio and radar, sailors did not know a storm or hurricane was nearby until it appeared on the horizon. For example, the Continental Navy sloop Saratoga was lost off the Bahamas in such a storm with all her crew on 18 March 1781. Many other US Navy ships have been lost at sea in storms around the world. Sudden local thunder storms and water spouts can sometimes spell disaster for mariners and air crews. Finally, the topography of the ocean floor varies from extensive shoals around the islands to some of the deepest marine trenches in the world. With the interaction of the strong currents over the many reefs the topography of the ocean bottom is in a state of flux and the development of new navigational hazards can sometimes be swift.

It has been inaccurately claimed that the Bermuda Triangle is one of the two places on earth at which a magnetic compass points towards true north. Normally a compass will point toward magnetic north. The difference between the two is known as compass variation. The amount of variation changes by as much as 60 degrees at various locations around the World. If this compass variation or error is not compensated for, navigators can find themselves far off course and in deep trouble. Although in the past this compass variation did affect the "Bermuda Triangle" region, due to fluctuations in the Earth's magnetic field this has apparently not been the case since the nineteenth century.

Mario Kart Wii will include 16 new courses and 16 classic courses from previous Mario Kart games. For the first time ever, players have the option of racing with either karts or motorbikes. Players can also hit the road as their personalized Mii caricatures in addition to the handful of classic Nintendo characters found in the game. True to the series, the game features tons of racing, plenty of power-ups and oodles of objects for players to use to slow down other drivers.

Mario Kart Wii sets out its stall in the last corner of the first track in the Mushroom Cup, Luigi Circuit. There's a chicane, followed by a huge, wide, banked curve, which leads onto the finishing straight. Inside the chicane, off the track, is a ramp. The top of the banked curve is lined with a series of ten or so on-track zip pads.

So, if you have a mushroom item in store, the quickest route around the corner is this. You use the mushroom for a speed boost, short-cutting across the chicane. You hit the ramp and jerk back on the wheel, executing a stunt. This gives you a speed boost when you hit the track again. Then you hit the first zip pad, and get a speed boost. You hop and slide, counter-steering with the wheel, sparks flying, first blue, then yellow. You hold the slide as the zip pads give you speed boost after speed boost after speed boost. You hit the straight and come out of the slide - which gives you a speed boost.

If you're really lucky, you'll have been doing all this in line behind another racer, slipstreaming granting a speed boost. If you're on a motorbike, you can then pull a wheelie down the straight. This gives you... you get the idea.

With Mario Kart Wii, Nintendo seems to be making a world record attempt for the greatest number of boost mechanics in a single racing game. We haven't even mentioned the half-pipe track designs, where there's a strip of vertical boost along the lip of the track that sends your kart up in the air in a soaring, Tony Hawk-style parabola.

Mario Kart Wii has an obsession with ever-escalating speed that rivals the Burnout series, or even WipEout. You're constantly searching every inch of track for opportunities to go faster amid the classic confusion and slapstick chaos for which Mario Kart is known - albeit ramped up by the expansion of the field from eight to twelve racers. It's intense, addictive and powerfully exhilarating. It blends cartoon foolishness with a viciously random cruel streak. But beneath both is a deep, precise, and technically rewarding racing game that you can sink hours into in time trial alone. In other words, it's classic Mario Kart.

Well - mostly. Mario Kart Wii is very similar to its immediate predecessor, Mario Kart DS, considered by most to be the strongest Mario Kart since N64 days at least. But it has made a couple of controversial additions to the fifteen-year-old formula: stunts and motorbikes. In an odd coincidence, these were also the additions made by a very different racing game - Project Gotham Racing 4 - last year, and they were initially met with scepticism in both cases. In both cases, the scepticism turns out to be unfounded. If anything, Mario Kart Wii's stunts and bikes are better integrated with the game than PGR4's were.

Nasi lemak is a dish that is commonly sold in Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Southern Thailand. In fact, it has been called the unofficial national dish.

With roots in Malay culture, its name is a Malay word that literally means 'rice in cream'. The name is derived from the cooking process whereby rice is soaked in rich coconut cream and then the mixture steamed. Sometimes knotted screwpine (pandan) leaves are thrown into the rice while steaming to give it more fragrance. Spices such as ginger (common in Malay cuisine) and occasionally herbs like lemon grass may be added for additional fragrance.

Traditionally, this comes as a platter with cucumber slices, small dried anchovies (ikan bilis), roasted peanuts, stir fried water convolvulus (kangkong), hard boiled egg, pickled vegetables (achar) and hot spicy sauce (sambal). Nasi lemak can also come with any other accompaniments such as chicken, cuttlefish, cockle, beef curry (beef stewed in coconut milk and spices) or paru (beeflungs). Traditionally most of these accompaniments are spicy in nature.

Nokia NSeries : Nokia N95

Here's one variation of my dream Nokia NSeries device: combine the Nokia N73's excellent camera with autofocus lens and its larger display with the Nokia N80's WiFi, d-pad and compact slider design. Nokia did more than one better with their latest NSeries phone, the N95: it features a 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss autofocus lens, a 2.6" QVGA display and a two way slider. Oh yes, and there's an internal full GPS with free maps covering 100 countries. But let's not forget the Bluetooth 2.0 +EDR, full-featured music player, standard 3.5mm stereo headphone jack, VGA video camera, the excellent S60 Feature Pack 1 web browser based on Safari technology, Euro-only 3G, quad band GSM + EDGE, the usual super-strong Nokia reception and MS Office viewer applications.

The N95 is a mid-sized phone that's similar in size to the Nokia N80 but slimmer. It features a two-way slider design: slide the display up to reveal the number pad and slide it down to switch to landscape mode, access playback controls and see a palette of multimedia applications: video player, gallery, maps, the web browser, music player, FM radio, LifeBlog, and a 3D game called System Rush: Evolution.

The N95 is a fast little bugger by S60 standards, being more responsive when opening menus and applications than the N80 and N73. It's faster than Windows Mobile 5 and 6 when navigating the device and launching applications but not as fast as the quicker feature phones or Palm OS. The Nokia runs on an Texas Instruments ARM 11 dual core processor clocked at 332 MHz. It features a dedicated 3D hardware graphics processor and from the included demo version of the 3D game System Rush: Evolution, we'd say 3D gaming performance is excellent.

For storage the phone has nearly 160 megs available and you can expand that with a microSD card up to 2 gigs in capacity. At boot there's 20 megs of free RAM to run programs, and unlike the N80 and N73, running Gallery and the web browser simultaneously didn't cause problems. The only time we got a not enough memory error was when we left System Rush running in the background and then tried to launch Snakes. 20 megs is OK, but we'd still like to see more RAM, Nokia.

Like the N80 and N93, the Nokia N95 has WiFi 802.11b/g. You can use the WLAN wizard to setup your connection, and have the phone ask you whether to use WiFi or the cellular data connection when connecting to the Net. You can also set the default to be WiFi if you wish, and you can use WiFi to download map data in the Maps application (certainly faster than EDGE!). Application and video downloads are downright fast using WiFi, and though we find ourselves using WiFi surprisingly little (thanks to unlimited US data accounts and US 3G services/phones) on most devices, the Nokia makes it so easy to select and use the 802.11 connection when starting up a data session that we used it more. The N95 also supports UPnP for those who like to stream media over their home wireless network. As expected, battery life takes a hit when using WiFi: it's not bad if you use it only to download a few apps or surf for 20 minutes, but if you surf or stream media for 2 hours, you'll use over 2/3 of the battery.

The Nokia comes with a good set of accessories including a 1 gig microSD card, mini USB to USB sync cable (gone are the specialized Nokia USB cables and Pop-Port, finally), world travel charger (the same charger used with most Nokia phones made from 2005 onward), Lithium Ion rechargeable battery BP-5F, a remote with detachable 3.5mm earbud stereo headphones (the remote controls music playback and has a mic for calls), 3.5mm to AV cables (RCA connectors for video, left and right audio), a software CD with PC Suite and LifeBlog and a manual.

Desaru is a beach and resort area in Johor, Malaysia. It is located approximately 88 kilometers east of Johor Bahru, on the South China Sea. It is a very popular weekend escape for residents of Singapore who come to enjoy the attractive 25 km stretch of beaches and splendid golf courses. Audi Q5

Audi will unveil its second crossover SUV at the 2008 Beijing auto show. The idea for the Q5 is pretty simple, think Q7 but smaller.

The Q5 will eventually be offered with multiple engine configuations including gasoline/petrol, TDI, and Hybrid gasoline/electric. Audi's new 7-speed S-Tronic branded Direct-Shift Gearbox transmission technology will also make its debut in the Q5.

Only one engine and transmission combination will be offered in the U.S. - Audi's 3.2-liter FSI V-6 engine mated to a six-speed Tiptronic transmission. The engine is direct injected and produces 265 hp and 243 lb-ft, which Audi estimates will propel the Q5 from 0 to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds. Contrary to earlier reports, Audi's new seven-speed S tronic (DSG) transmission will not be offered. All Q5s will use a rear-biased Quattro all-wheel-drive system with a 40/60 torque split turning either standard 18-inch wheels or optional 20-inchers.

Exterior styling is, not surprisingly, very similar to the larger Q7's - we can see the same athletic stance and overall profile. That said, we can't help but notice some visual similarities to Volkswagen's smaller Tiguan SUV. Audi has avoided using a roof joint strip, the seam found on many vehicles where the roof panel meets the body sides. The company says this helps to reduce wind noise while improving the Q5's appearance. For those looking to see and be seen, Audi will offer Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights as an option. LED taillights, reminiscent of other Audis of late, are standard.

The interior is much the same story and has the familiar Audi feel with maybe a bit less of the visual flow we admire on the A4 and A5. Seating is available for five with 19 cubic feet of cargo space which can be expanded to 55 cubic feet with the rear seats down. Options include a power liftgate; heated and cooled cup holders; tri-zone climate control; and a blind-spot monitoring system. An eight-speaker stereo is standard while a 505-watt, 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen system will be an option. Bluetooth and iPod connectivity are also available. The Q5 will be the first Audi to use the new, third-generation MMI infotainment system with navigation and real-time traffic information.

Audi lists key competitors as the BMW X3, the Infiniti EX35, the Land Rover LR2, the Lexus RX350, and the forthcoming Mercedes-Benz GLK350 and Volvo XC60. As we've said before, this market is getting very crowded very quickly. We'll see how well the Q5 stands up to that crowd after it goes on sale in the first quarter of 2009.

Movie Review : The Forbidden Kingdom

From the beginning, "The Forbidden Kingdom" seems like a film from another era. It takes place in the present day, but the gang of toughs harassing young Jason look as if they should be drag racing with Kenickie in "Grease" or preparing for the rumble with Ponyboy from "The Outsiders," not walking the streets of New York in the 21st century.

The new martial arts film is notable mostly because it's the first Jet Li and Jackie Chan collaboration, teaming the Hong Kong martial arts stars who have had the most success crossing over into American films. But with the exception of the special effects, it resonates mostly as a throwback to the days of films such as "The NeverEnding Story," when ancient fantasies were book-ended by tales of modern-day misfits who get their lunch money taken but later exact revenge on their tormenters with a furry flying dragon.

"The Forbidden Kingdom" feels a bit too much like six hours of movie packed into 113 minutes - imagine if New Line had made Peter Jackson cram the entirety of "Lord of the Rings" into one film. Ultimately, though, it's difficult to resist, especially if you're a 12-year-old boy whose parents won't let you rent "Once Upon a Time in China" or the "Kill Bill" movies.

Michael Angarano is Jason, a teen who likes to hang out in a junky store owned by Old Hop (Chan, underneath convincing old-guy makeup). He gets in a scrape, picks up a magic staff from Hop's store and is transported back in time to Hong Kong, where he meets a wine-swilling fighter named Lu Yan (Chan, underneath Whoopi Goldberg's hair) and a stoic monk played by Li. There's also something about the legend of an immortal called the Monkey King, who is also played by Li looking like a cross between Hugh Jackman in "The X-Men" and an Oompa Loompa. Collin Chao is a bland warlord villain, and Yifei Liu is a young hottie named Golden Sparrow.

There are many more characters crammed into the plot, but why go on? A movie like this comes down to the fighting, and it's pretty good considering that the collective age of the two key participants is few years shy of 100. The inevitable clash between Chan and Li doesn't live up to the impossible hype, but choreography legend Woo-Ping Yuen keeps everyone looking young with his usual martial arts smorgasbord, along with some special-effects trickery that is worked in seamlessly.

It's particularly good to see Chan doing the "Drunken Master" thing again. The movie also adequately answers the question why Chan and Li haven't yet done a movie together in their collective 55-year careers: Chan is a much better actor. As for the fighting, and the movie, it's pretty much a draw.

Satay or sate is a dish consisting of chunks or slices of dice-sized meat (chicken, mutton, and beef.) on bamboo skewers. These are grilled or barbecued over a wood or charcoal fire, then served with various spicy seasonings (depends on satay recipe variants).

A Myth Of Legendary Island : The Atlantis

One of the most intriguing mysteries of the ancient world was the alleged existence of a highly advanced civilization of people who lived on a continent known as "Atlantis". The Legend places Atlantis at almost 11,000 years into the past, yet the Antlanteans were said to have possessed technology that was far in advance of their time. The stories of this technology vary, but it was Plato himself who kept the whole idea alive - claiming that Atlantis did indeed exist.

Atlantis is the name of a legendary island first mentioned in Plato's dialogues Timaeus and Critias. In Plato's account, Atlantis, lying "beyond the pillars of Heracles", was a naval power that conquered many parts of Western Europe and Africa 9,000 years before the time of Solon, or approximately 9500 BC. After a failed attempt to invade Athens, Atlantis sank into the ocean "in a single day and night of misfortune".

The original story of Atlantis is long and diverse, but it is said that Poseidon, God Of The Sea, created the island for his love, a mortal woman named Cleito. On the top of the hill in the center of the island a great temple was constructed to honor Poseidon, as well as a large golden statue of him riding a Chariot pulled by winged horses. The combined size of the Continent on which Atlantis became situated was particularly vast, and a great number of people came to live and work there.

Where Should I Place Google Ads On My Pages?

The best location for Google ads varies from page to page, depending on content. Here are a few questions to ask yourself when considering where to position your ads:

What is the user trying to accomplish by visiting my site?
What do they do when viewing a particular page?
Where is their attention likely to be focused?
How can I integrate ads into this area without getting in the users' way?
How can I keep the page looking clean, uncluttered and inviting?

Certain locations tend to be more successful than others. This "heat map" illustrates the ideal placing on a sample page layout. The colors fade from dark orange (strongest performance) to light yellow (weakest performance). All other things being equal, ads located above the fold tend to perform better than those below the fold. Ads placed near rich content and navigational aids usually do well because users are focused on those areas of a page.

While this heat map is useful as a positioning guideline, we strongly recommend putting your users first when deciding on ad location. Think about their behavior on different pages, and what will be most useful and visible to them. You'll find that the most optimal ad position isn't always what you expect on certain pages.

For example, on pages where users are typically focused on reading an article, ads placed directly below the end of the editorial content tend to perform very well. It's almost as if users finish reading and ask themselves, "What can I do next?" Precisely targeted ads can answer that question for them.

Koi are very nice fish for a pond. They will usually grow too big for most aquariums. But it's enjoyable to start them off in an aquarium, where they can be easily seen, and later before they grow too big for an aquarium, carefully acclimate them to a pond at a time of year that the temperature of the water in the pond is within 2 degrees of the temperature of the water in their aquarium, so they will not be shocked by the change in water temperature. Koi are now commonly sold in most pet stores, with higher-quality fish available from specialist dealers.

Koi varieties are distinguished by coloration, patterning, and scalation. Ghost koi, developed in the 1980s are metallic hybrids of wild carp and Ogon koi and are not considered true Nishikigoi. Butterfly koi, Longfin koi, or Dragon Carp were also developed in the 1980s and are notable for their long and flowing fins. They are actually hybrids with Asian carp and, like Ghost koi, are not considered true Nishikigoi.

Koi food is designed not only to be nutritionally balanced, but also to float so as to encourage them to come to the surface. When they are eating, it is possible to check them for parasites and ulcers. Koi will recognize the person feeding them and gather around at dinnertime. They can even be trained to take the food from one's hand.

Rockstar's approach to showing the new GTA to the world is going to be different than before. "We gave a lot of access and a lot of information away about San Andreas in the months leading up to its release, to a point where, on reflection, we thought perhaps we didn't leave enough for the gamers to discover themselves. With GTA4 our approach is going to be slightly different - we're going to make sure there are surprises."

Grand Theft Auto IV is a new story about an immigrant arriving in Rockstar's version of New York, Liberty City, how this outsider exists and survives in an alien, foreign world, and how that world reacts to and interacts with the player. "With GTA4 we do believe we're creating something wholly new and unique."

The game's main protagonist, Niko Bellic, is an Eastern European that arrives in Liberty City on a boat. He's led a pretty dark, difficult and shady life and gets lured to Liberty City by his cousin Roman who says he'll have a chance to live the American Dream. Roman tempts him with promises of extreme wealth and houses with women and Jacuzzis - but it turns out to be a pack of lies. The truth is, Roman's got a fairly humble taxi depot business, he's got mounting debts, and he's attracting a lot of hostile attention from some unsavoury characters. He's not walking into the life of riches and glamour he was promised - and pretty soon, players will start to learn that his past is going to catch up with him.

So, is this new GTA storyline still going to be one main story thread? After all, for some GTA critics, it was always something of a stumbling block in previous games that things were presented as being all about freedom, yet, if you want to actually play through the game, you pretty much have to follow one storyline that then funnels you down one path - there aren't multiple endings or anything like that.

Cars driving past really sound - and feel - like they're going past you, as the engine rumbles and the car's blaring music fades in and out. If a car suddenly brakes nearby, you don't need to see it to know it happened. The varying volume and intensity of car horns and the constant hum of traffic noise is transfixing to listen to, and the frequent deafening rattle of trains hurtling through the subway honestly make this city sound as real as the ones we live and breathe in. Even the surfaces you walk on - regular sidewalk or a pebbly area - sound different and real.

The animation, in general, has been massively improved from the previous games. Niko's analogue-driven walking animation is fluid and real at different paces, and the standing still "waiting" animation that every game character has had since forever is in there. When he (or other pedestrians) get hit by a car, the crumpling of the body is convincing and quite alarming. "He's actually got a skeleton now," Brown points out. Approaching a car, Niko first attempts to get the door open with a couple of tugs. Finding it locked, he repositions himself to smash the window and open the door to get in - it's all really nicely animated. There'll be plenty of new car-jacking and hot-wiring animations, according to Rockstar.

And in general, the variety in traffic on the road - vehicle type and style - is such that you can see a whole lot more than just the basic make and colour of each car, like you put up with from a last-gen GTA. Traffic looks pretty much like it does in a real city.

GTA has always had the best cruise and chase driving mechanics around, and Rockstar says it's now further enhanced by utilising a brand new "vehicle physics package" - the idea is that it subtly improves the handling by adding a little bit more control and weight, while vehicles will also respond perfectly to the undulations in the road - indeed, we can see every tiny bump and shake of the car as it passes over this city back street we're slowly cruising down.

Summary
