Before i start, i am not an APPLE fanbois! As a professional, i use a mixture of Microsoft and APPLE products on a daily basis and couldn't imagine or want to live without one or the other. In fact, i have stubbornly refused to get an iphone until only recently as i thought that an ipad and mac computer was buying into the APPLE corporate dream enough, however, i was soon to find i was very wrong....

Don't get me wrong, Android is a great operating system, but when i made the move from a Blackberry to an Android smart phone, i didn't really find myself doing anything extra on it
other than play the odd game or read some emails.

In my experience, the thing that makes a phone (or any mobile device) useful is the way it delivers
the experience to the user. An example of this is that with my Sony Xperia android phone i would never even try to browse anything on the internet as it was a painful, often frustrating experience and apps, although vastly available, installed all over the place and plagued by constant updates. To summarize, the operating system felt very disjointed to me, made up of many segments instead of a single system for the user to manipulate.

Upgrade time came upon me and i thought "what the hell! I'm just going to go for an iPhone." Turns out this was one of the better decisions i have made. The iPhone gives me complete control over my information and makes me so much more work orientated.

The Apple IOS is such a singular design that even though you are working with lots of separate apps, the way they are brought together creates a seamless user experience. It's not just the hardware that makes the iphone such a great tool, its the way the operating system works with the apps to deliver a fast, solid experience everytime.

These days the iPhone is the hub of my mobile work-life, I am constantly in touch with whats going on with eBay, social media, banking, customers and every other aspect of the business i could possibly need to be kept informed of.

here are 5 reasons why i think an iPhone is perfect for the business owner

Simple, clean user interface to access all information in one place

fast, USEABLE internet experience

Mail client is very simple to set up and keep you connected

Apps are seamless and really help you to be more productive

Hardware is rock solid and durable
