Our last YAB meeting of 2005 is next Tuesday, December 20 at 4:30pm in the Library Activity Room. Since it's such a momentous occasion, we'll be be celebrating in style. There's a new group in North Reading advocating for teens called North Reading Youth Services. Ultimately they'd like to have a Youth Center in North Reading (wouldn't that be awesome?). This weekend shop for books/CDs/DVDs and raise money for the library! For the first time Barnes & Noble is hosting a Great Bay State Library Fundraiser. On Friday, December 2 and Saturday, December 3 all Barnes & Noble stores in Massachusetts will donate 20-25% of their proceeds to libraries across the state. Need to do some holiday shopping?
