In just 5 days, we received 2323 responses! That’s incredible. We read through every note, and are excited to release our roadmap to our players.

Removing Lives: We heard you loud and clear: You don’t like the “lives” system, so we’re going to get rid of it. The “full version” that currently grants you unlimited lives will instead contain additional modes and eventually even more content.

New Modes:  We are adding two new game modes to the “full version” experience: Apocalypse and Sunrise. Players of the original Race The Sun may be familiar with these. Apocalypse is a super difficult mode, and Sunrise is a more chill, Zen-like experience.

Improved UI: We’ll be doing a major redesign on the UI to showcase your customized ship in a new “home” environment.

Customizations: We’re not ready to share details yet beyond this, but we are planning exciting new content including more customization options and additional ship levels.

WAIT, WHAT ABOUT… If you don’t see your suggestion listed above – don’t fret! These are simply the first of many features and improvements we are working to roll out.

But what about Race the Sun on Android?.. I know – we’re sorry. We had every intention of making that happen a long time ago, but got pulled away to other projects. The good news is that we’re back on track and will be starting a Race the Sun Android beta very soon! We expect to release both Evergarden and Race the Sun on Google Play this fall.

We wanted to give you a heads up that we are transitioning our Flippfly accounts (which are used for voting, and logging into Race The Sun’s DRMFree version,)  to a new server. Actually, the transition has already happened, but we haven’t got updates for Race The Sun out to Humble and GoG yet.

In the meantime, you’ll need to play the DRMFree version of the game offline while we finalize the QA process.
On the plus size, this new build has some nice optimizations and neat new portal levels.

The good news is: Absolute Drift: Zen Edition, the collaboration we’ve been working on with Funselektor,  now live  on the Playstation store in European territories as well as on Steam!

The bad news: Due to some technical issue beyond our control, we’ve had to delay the North American PS4 launch for a couple more weeks. The build is with Sony now, and our partners there are helping to get it through their certification system as quickly as possible.

We’re terribly sorry to those of you who’ve been waiting to play the game on PS4 – thanks for your patience!

Hello.

I know it’s strange for a user to contact their dealer like this, but ever since I found Race The Sun on Playstation store, I just have not been able to get enough. I’ve gotta play it. I’ll miss it when I’m not at home, and have been said to be horrible to be around when I’m not playing. It’s become a real problem.

So my coworkers, my family, and friends begged me to write this. (Something about steps, I don’t know if count in tris) But they said I’ve gotta have this on Android soon, or they may just send me away. I’m sure a little fix during the day would calm my craving til I get home, so anything would be a great help.
