Ward boundaries updated in the Flock Together API

Just to let you know that I’ve updated all the postcodes and wards at api.flocktogether.org.uk to the latest versions.

It’s a quick and easy way to:

Postcode & geo look-up of ward, constituency, council etc.
Boundary lookup
Plot data based on postcode
Add area and geographical data to CSV files

Let me know if you spot any problems.

FlockTogether adds wards etc. to the party’s Salesforce membership reports

Just to let you know that the Flock Together API now lets you quickly and easily add wards and other geographical data to the party’s Salesforce membership reports.

You can do the upload at http://api.flocktogether.org.uk/addareatodata.php.

After 4½ sterling years of service, LibDig is no more.

Here on FlockTogether, we supported LibDig from the beginning and we’re sorry to see it go!

I’ve updated the LibDig WordPress plug-in to tell people about the change and suggest they deactivate it!

Old contact details no longer display

Just to let you know that individual contact details for events now stop displaying 30 days after an event has happened.

FlockTogether now automatically tweets details of the latest phone banks entered in the system twice a day.

You need to be logged in and the creator or contact for an event or a system administrator to add them.

Printable copyable ward, division and constituency maps

Just to let you know about a new way of accessing ward maps via Flocktogether’s API site.

Enter your postcode or the name of a ward and it will let you link through to a zoomable, copyable map.

Click on the link in the top left to get an extra large version. Use the selection box at the top left of the map to get a format suitable for printing.
