Flock and Rally is working with Harbison Theatre at Midlands Technical College to launch its inaugural 2012-2013 performing arts season.

Working in collaboration with Mustard Graphics in Columbia, SC, we've developed a year-long advertising, marketing, public relations and social media campaign for the new 400-seat theater and its ten diverse shows, from Pilobolus Dance Theatre to Polygraph Lounge to Squonk Opera. It's going swimmingly!

Flock and Rally is honored to have been brought on for three years in a row to do the logistics, marketing, PR & social media for this annual, signature event for 701 Center for Contemporary Art.

Attendance grew from over 4,000 visits to 45 participating artists' studios in 2011 to over 10,000 visits to 69 participating artists' studios in 2012, with 42% of attendees coming in to the city from outside of Columbia, SC city limits.

As Events Manager and board member at Slow Food Columbia, Tracie co-founded this new, annual festival in Columbia, SC. Co-organized vendors, entertainment, logistics, sponsors, marketing, venue, greening, website design, etc. for 500 festivalgoers in 2010. Then, co-acquired marketing grant funding and grew the festival to 1200 attendees, quintupling profits in 2011. The 2012 festival saw a record 3,000 attendees. For 2013, Slow Food Columbia is passing the reins to Sustainable Midlands to run the festival, so that Slow Food Cola can focus on smaller scale projects and internal growth.

Flock and Rally worked with the Mid-Carolina chapter of the national nonprofit organization, the National Alliance for Mental Illness, to produce its 4th annual 5k NAMIWalks event at the West Columbia Riverwalk & Amphitheater for over 1,000 walkers.

Our tasks included organizing event and pre-event logistics, disseminating direct email and social media marketing, and project management for the Walk over a 6-month period.

Flock and Rally worked with Executive Chef Scott Hall as the social media, PR & marketing firm for Bone-In Artisan Barbecue on Wheels for its first year in business, starting with its February 2011 launch.

This artisan food truck, whose location is publicized solely via Twitter & Facebook, has become a media sensation, filmed in July 2011 for the international Cooking Channel show, "Eat St." and an upcoming Bravo network show slated to air in 2013.

Scott and his family also own the award-winning Corley Mill House & Garden & are the exclusive caterers for Historic Columbia’s Big Apple venue, while Scott Hall Catering does big events for the Columbia Museum of Art and the Junior League. We're in love with his mac-and-blue cheese stuffed with 14-hour smoked brisket.

Debi founded this 1x-2x yearly, independent craft fair in May of 2009, handling vendor management, recruitment, volunteers, production, budgets, and marketing, working with over 300 of the best regional artisan vendors.

As part of the Nickelodeon Theatre’s 2011 Indie Grits Festival, Debi juried over 100 independent crafters and coordinated logistics, live music, food and drinks for an outdoor street party on South Main behind the State Capital.

The 2nd Annual Crafty Feast at Indie Grits was held at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center on Saturday, April 28, 2012, accommodating 1,600 guests.

The knowledge economy think tank, EngenuitySC, brought us on to run a social media campaign focused on boosting ticket sales for their annual Ignite event at The Zone at Williams-Brice Stadium.

Tracie was referred by her floral foraging hero, Amanda McNulty of ETV's "Making It Grow," to the esteemed Hay Hill Services landscape & garden design company for party décor for a sneak preview party for their new retail center, Hay Hill Garden Market, at 1625 Bluff Road in Columbia, SC.

Elaborate floral arrangements were composed mostly of greenery foraged from the Gantt family farms, photographers were hired (including candids by Jonathan Sharpe and a Pop-Up Photo Studio by Forrest Clonts), and post-event social media consultation was given re: photo dissemination. Working with Hay Hill was a dream come true for a fan of great design and logistical miracles -- man, they are good.

Upon the departure of HCF’s Communications Director one month before this annual festival of African-American heritage in Columbia, Flock and Rally was brought in to assume all traditional PR duties.
