Hey Peeps! Sorry I haven't been around or posting anything. I've been incredibly busy as I am moving out of my parents house. This means that I will not be keeping up my blog anymore as I will not have internet. And even if I had internet, I'm so busy these days with work and life, that I don't have enough time to keep this baby running. I was in Seattle all weekend and I got home on Sunday. Hence why there have been no recent posts. My birthday was on Friday (March. 27th)! I am officially 19 years old!!! Woot woot! And no, I did not get wasted all weekend (in Canada you are legally allowed to drink at 19). I have better thing to do with my time :) Anywho, check out some of my pictures from Seattle.

In the Bible Jesus is called "the Lion of Judah". It's quite the image, especially since He is called a lamb as well.

In my front yard we have this random stone lion. I have no idea what it's doing there, but I like it.

I feel like I never go anywhere near my computer anymore. The internet holds very little interest for me anymore. I'm trying to keep up this blog, but I also haven't been taking very many photos or interesting ones at that. So forgive me if you are losing interest in a blog that you once thought was cool.

So I've been impressed lately by a couple of photos taken by my fellow photographers. I'd like to share a few:

Song of the Week: Never Think

Song of the Week: Never Think by Rob Pattinson. I feel like such a humungous dork because this song is from Twilight and everyone is obsessed with Rob Pattinson and all things Twilight. But honestly, for me, it's not about the movie or Rob (the fact that he is a said "hottie"). This song is flippin' amazing. The video is lame. You can just ignore it. Yup. That's me! I was being a dork (as per the usual). I was walking to the bus stop and I decided I was going to randomly do a "model pose" real quick and take a picture of it on my cellphone. Obviously I am nothing at all like a model, but the photo makes me laugh nonetheless.

Slumdog Millionaire

I watched the most incredible movie on Saturday. It's called Slumdog Millionaire. It's a foreign film from India and it's about a boy who grows up in the slums of Mumbai and then goes on "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire" (Indian style). The whole movie is about his life from childhood to when he is 18 (and on the show) and how he gets to the final question of "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire".

It is the most powerful and incredible movie I've seen in a long time, or maybe even "ever". I was crying. I was laughing. I was on the edge of my seat and biting my nails. I was sitting beside this strange guy and he was laughing at my reactions through the whole movie. The whole movie was intense and the ending is spectacular. The whole movie leaves you breathless. *Siiiigh* It was awesome! I've told everyone I know about it. You will not be disappointed. Watch the trailer below...

The wire hanging off the telephone pole looks like a noose, which is why I took a picture of it. I should have gotten closer or zoomed in or something. But whatever, I was nervous because I didn't want to miss the bus.

Song of the week is If I Were a Boy covered by Kina Grannis. The song was written by Beyonce, but Kina Grannis does a much better job at performing it. Sorry Beyonce. Kina messes up in the middle of the video, but it's actually really funny, so I forgive her. She has a spectacular voice.

So Langley persists on weirding me out with its freaky weather. Why Mother Earth, why?! Anyway, I woke up this morning and it was snowing. When I was little my dad told me that the sun was God smiling on me, the rain was God taking a shower and the snow was God's dandruff falling off His head. Well, it's snowing a lot these days, so God must have a lot of dandruff. Ewww...

I was waiting for the bus so I had some fun taking the pictures below...

I was super early for the bus (about 20 minutes early) and so I had nothing to do. I had no head gear to keep my ears warm either. So this picture is me trying to look happy, but in fact, I was freezing. Oh, and my mascara was getting all over my glasses. Ugh.

We are getting the strangest weather this winter, from snow to tons of rain to hail to fog. It's incredibly odd. Right now Langley is experiencing the freezing cold, the bright sun and thick creepy fog. The pictures are from my walk to work today.

ROUNDABOUTS

So I live a couple streets away from this "dandy" roundabout. Before this roundabout was put in, this intersection was called "5 Corners" because it was a 5-way stop. And after they put in this roundabout they decided to make another just 5 minutes down the road. Argh! I hate roundabouts. Well, let me rephrase: I love roundabouts because they are fun to go around but I hate them because no one knows how to use them. As a novice driver, I know more about roundabouts than people who have been driving for 20 years! It's ridiculous! I hear there are tons of roundabouts in England. I wonder what that's like...

Check out my eyelashes! My eyelashes are super long and when I put mascara on they are super duper long. I love it!

P.S. Check out this post, Watching, from A Photo a Day from Planet Earth. I love it so much. I can only describe the man in the photo as "beautiful". It's odd, but it just seems to fit perfectly.
