In this design, there are 6 vertical wood slats pre-screwed into the interlocking plastic base. This design provides a classic, elegant look for any outdoor decking projects from small to large. Material: Our eucalyptus wood products are made of solid "Eucalyptus Grandis" hardwood, grown in 100 % well managed forests in Brazil, certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).

Eucalyptus Grandis, entirely different from the eucalyptus tree in the U.S., is as strong and as durable as the well-known Teak. On average, it is even from 10 to 20 percent more dense than Teak. With its density, straight grain, smooth finish, and honey color with subtle rose highlights, Eucalyptus Grandis is a first-rate choice for outdoor wood products.Key features and specification:Quickly build any unique outdoor living space by simply snapping the deck tiles together without using nails, glue, or a hammer. This will be added to the two preceding ones: curb appeal and the entrance area. Because these scenes are the first ones they will weigh heavy on the rest of the showing and may even tip the scales either way. And one of the most important items for portraying the interior in a grand way is the flooring and the type of flooring installation you have chosen.

When a person enters a home it is only human nature to glance down at where the feet are. Like the entranceway it is close to the eyes and imperfections will be picked up immediately. So if there is a dated, gray-edged beige carpet in the line of sight this would not be a good first impression. And neither would a dated tile floor with dirty grout.

Most people who buy homes these days are not like the ones who were on the hunt even 10 years. As much as the internet is filled with do-it-yourself articles the new home buyers tend to want everything done, or almost everything, before they buy. Why? Because “time” is the new currency and this is in short supply. The new buyer knows what he or she likes and wants it in one package with little or no after-market projects left. In order to sell your home this includes the floors.

Taking Stock of the Floors

One of the first things to do when planning to renovate for selling is to go through the home and look at all the floors. Move furniture out of the rooms ands get in every corner. Draw each room on a separate piece of graph paper and name the flooring material in each room. Now mark on the paper where every scrape, blemish and stain is located.
Hardwood

If you have hardwood floors, circle them right on the floor with a water-based pen. Then get down and scrub marks with a mild cleaner and repair the bare spots made by furniture rubbing and other scraping. These can be lightly sanded and then spot painted with a clear urethane. You might have to match the stain beforehand by testing it on a spare piece of wood. If these can't be cleaned, or the cracks or nicks fixed, then call in a professional. This will be well worth the money and effort. Sometimes a pro can take strip of wood from the line of sight and replace it a piece from the back of the closet.

Sometimes a hardwood floor, especially oak flooring, is badly scraped, faded or has water damage. Call in a flooring company and get bids on refinishing. Even badly damaged, old floors can be brought back to life with the right refinishing company.
Tile

Tile flooring is difficult and expensive to replace because, unlike hardwood, it can' be refinished. If the tile looks decent you might be able to get away with replacing the grout. Although it requires some labor and can make a mess grinding out grout is easy to do. First choose a color that will set off the room and the tile. This choice should be made in conjunction with picking out the décor for the whole house. If you don't have a grinder inform the tool rental place what you want to do and they will set you up with the proper grinding wheel for the job. You don't have to take out all the grout just take it down 1/4” so that you can re-apply the new grout. Follow the instructions on the package as to how to apply grout or ask the local home store where you bought it. By choosing a different, even vibrant color, for the regrouting job you can make the tile floor look like it is a new one.

Sometimes there will be cracked tile and it is very difficult to find anything that matches. This is a good time to look for a closet or other space where taking up a tile and filling the spot with a different color won't matter. In a closet you can take up a white tile and replace it with a black one and then put a floor mat over it. Grind out the grout to the subfloor and then carefully work a putty knife between the tile and the subfloor. When the new tile goes in the rest of the floor will have to be regrouted.
Laminate Flooring

Laminate flooring can chip and the pattern rub off in spots where traffic is high. If you have left over pieces from the job your job is simple. However, if not find a place where no one will notice a missing piece of laminate, like in a closet. To remove a laminate plank go to the nearest wall and take off the baseboard. This holds the floor in place. Now lift the edge pieces and pull them apart. Do this until you reached the bad one. Replace this with one from around the area (This is for even wear) and then rebuild the floor back to the wall where the new piece will be inserted to make up for the one used to replace the damaged one.

For small repairs like nicks or scratches you can buy a laminate repair kit at the local home store.
Carpet

Unless the carpets are in pristine condition this would be a good time to rip them out and put in another type of flooring. Even a quality laminate flooring adorned with a classic-style floor rug would set off the place better than a carpet. This is because, unlike 10 years ago, people are realizing that carpets may contribute to their allergies.

However, if you have quality carpets in good shape there would be no need to replace them. Not all buyers hate carpets and they do look great and make a room cozy.

Modular Attic Floor System - Atticraft (Natural) (5/8"H x 24"W x 16"D)

<img style=float:left;"margin:10px 10px 10px 10px"; alt="flooring and tile ceramic" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51mUs3lSPIL._SL500_AA300_.jpg" height="180" width="180"/>

Everyone is looking for more space...and to be more organized. Atticraft is a new product that solves the space problem in minutes. Before, the only way to finish an attic was to be handy and get plywood to cut and install yourself; hire someone to do that for you; or purchase pre-cut storage panels that have to be screwed into the joists. All are complicated, expensive, time consuming projects that not everyone wants to or can do.

View Products Details

The Atticraft modular floor system eliminates all of these common problems! No tools are required to install it It is elevated above insulation and wires creating even more space Sets up in minutes Each panel has an approximate weight capacity of 250 pounds when evenly distributed. The kit accommodates both 16" and 24" on center attics (standard size of all attics built after 1957) so you do not need to know how your attic is configured. The Atticraft can be easily removed and taken from home to home (great for renters or homeowners). For installation, clips adjust for off center joist work (the panels can slide on the clip to compensate). All other products on the market are fixed in size. If the joist work is not perfectly 16" or 24" on center (which most joist work is not) these other products will not work well or at all. No other product on the market has these features! If necessary, screw down areas where squeaking occurs.
* Use a moisture meter to determine the moisture in both the sub-floor as well as the flooring. It is important that the difference in moisture between the sub-floor and flooring not be greater than 4%. Always bring in your flooring few days prior installation.
* Roll out enough 15 LB builders felt paper to cover the sub-floor and trim the edges. The paper can be loose laid as it is not necessary to fasten it to the sub-floor.
* Open one box of flooring at a time. From the first box, pick out the longest and straightest boards for the starter row.
* Once again, check the moisture content of your flooring using the moisture meter. The moisture content should be between 6-9% depending on your location.
* You are required to leave an expansion gap at the starting and ending rows. This gap should be equal to the thickness of the flooring that you are installing. The correct way to measure your starting row for lets say, flooring that is 3/4" thick and 2 1/4" wide, would be to measure out from the wall 3" and snap a chalk line. Line up your first row (with the tongue facing out) on the chalk mark and you will then be left with the correct 3/4" expansion gap.
* Drill pilot holes 2-3" from the ends of each board and every 8-10" along the board and fasten the board down with 2" finish nails. Whenever you have driven a nail into the surface, be sure to repeat the process on the top of the tongue at a 45 degree angle - this is called blind nailing.
* After blind nailing the second and third rows, you are now ready to get some help and begin using the Primatech nailing tool of your choice, thus making the rest of the installation much easier.
* Lay out the flooring on the sub-floor using the various lengths found in the box. It is very important to make sure that the end joints are at least 6" or more from the end joints of the row behind.
* Using the rubber end of the mallet, drive the uninstalled row up tight to the rest of the installed floor.
* Using your Primatech nailer and the rubber end of the mallet, nail the floor every 8-10" and 2-3" from the ends of each board. Always make sure that there are at least two nail in every board regardless of the length of the board.
* When measuring the boards to fit at the end of the row, use a board that is longer than the space. Flip it upside down so that the tongue is now facing towards the installed boards. Make a mark and then transfer the mark to the surface of the board. Using an electric chop saw, carefully cut the board at the mark that you made.
* Install the board and use the piece that you cut off to begin the next row.
* When you reach the end of the room and cannot swing the mallet freely, you will have to repeat - in reverse - the method that you began your installation. Using the drill and hammer, continue to blind nail by hand. Countersink all the surface nails in the first and last rows and fill them with wood putty.
* Install now the quarter round, which will cover the expansion gaps. It is very important that you anchor them to the wall or base board and NOT to the floor.
* Using the manufacturers recommended floor cleaner, remove any scuff marks that you might have made during the installation and clean the entire floor.
* Using Primatech nails and nailers makes the installation of your beautiful new hardwood floor easy and affordable; so insist on Primatech to protect your long term investment.

Carbonized Bamboo Line Solid Engineered Wood Hardwood Floor Flooring

<img style=float:left;"margin:10px 10px 10px 10px"; alt="flooring and tile ceramic" title="" src="http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51Rw6-lQX8L._SL500_AA300_.jpg" height="180" width="180"/>

This is for one carton of 17.04 sq.ft bamboo carbonized line flooring.
