Since we announced our closure we have been very busy but we still have lots of stock to go! Some of the bargains left include:-

Folkart Acyrlic Paints (comparable to Jo Sonja paints) usually $4.80 each now $2.50 each or 3 for $6. Perfect to finish of that wooden project you had put away for a rainy day or may you were going to make for somebody this Christmas. Whatever the reason, it is now a great time to stock up.

For the artists we still have Art Spectum oils, Matisse acrylics, limited Winsor & Newton watercolours and brushes to suit all of these. All reduced by 40%!! Great present for an artist this Christmas!

Bazzill , treasures and double mate cardstock - all reduced to 70c per sheet.

PAPERIFIC HERE WE COME!!

Just a quick update to let you know we will be closing at lunchtime this Thursday 25th August due to our attendance at Paperific which is to be held at the Royal Melbourne Showgrounds from Friday 26th through to Sunday 28th August. We will be reopening Monday the 29th August from 10.30 - 5.00 pm.

Sadly, this will be our last Paperific event as we have decided the time has come to close the shop. So this is our first step in winding down. On a happier note, this means that there will be heaps of bargains available over the weekend. Everything will be reduced, so make sure come and visit and check it all out, and of course say Hello!!

Some one off bargains we have include EK Success Circle Cutter and Zutter binding machine. Great tools to have in your kit! Lots of stamps, punches, papers, rubons, buttons, charms, decoupage paper, acrylic paint and of course heaps more!!

Sorry to say, we are going to be closed on Tuesdays from next week. Retail is pretty tough at the moment, in fact they are saying it is the worst time in 50 years for retailers so we have to take some measures to cope with this.

We are continuing our 20% off storewide at the moment (except for July & August Kaiser) so there are plenty of bargains to be had. We have just got a good stock of Martha Stewart butterfly punches in which are included in the sale so get in quick for them!

AUGUST KAISER HAS ARRIVED

Kaiser has released two fabulous new ranges this month. Hunt and Gather is the perfect range to use all those camping, fishing and outdoor photos in general, that you've been wondering what to do with. It includes some fantastic images of fish, insects, birds and the great outdoors and is designed in a way that suits both older, historical photos as well as a more contemporary images. It is refreshing to see that they have used images that are relevant to us in Australia which has been something that has been missing from these themes in the past that have come from American companies.

These would be perfect to use on your father's days cards this year if you haven't got them made yet!

You couldn't really get two more different ranges! Miss Nelly is a vibrant, feminine range with lots of lovely bright florals which are perfect for cutting out to decorate your project with! I love the use of bright pinks, reds, blues, teal , aqua and lime in this range and have found that lend themselves perfectly to beautiful, feminine birthday cards. The 12x12 sticker sheet is a must have with lovely floral cutouts but also two different mini alphabets which are a great addition to your project. You can never have enough mini alphabet stickers, I say...LOL!! Anyway, don't take my word for it, check out the new ranges on www.kaisercraft.net.au . Hope to see you in the shop soon!!

Welcome to winter! The kids have got lovely weather for the holidays haven't they!! Oh well, it is particularly good weather for sitting inside (in front of the fire) and scrapbooking or card making. Why not get a head start on your Christmas cards?

JUNE DO CRAFTS HAS LANDED

Ok, for all those Do Crafts fans out there our June delivery has arrived and is now on the shelves. Better late than never as they say. Get in quick if you love those cute little teddies in the Me to You range. We have a great selection of wooden stamps with teddy designs and they are very reasonably priced. The range also comes with some lovely decoupage kits which include enough product to create 4 large sized cards each featuring the cute teddy designs.

There is another lovely range called Tulip created by one of the new graphic designers at Do Crafts. The 3D stickers with this collection are a great buy as you can purchase 3 for the price of 2 and create some very professional looking 3D cards without a lot of effort.

Have you seen the latest releases from Collections? Julie has certainly been busy producing a lovely range of new products and which are proving to be extremely popular.

There are 3 new ranges of 6x6 papers including a gorgeous green and also beautiful rose pink range as well. Of course there are lots of new chipboard designs including a cute little banner set and much much more! Get in early to try out her new printed tissue paper. It is designed to be coloured either by natural dyes like food colouring or tea or coffee or any of your favourite washes or sprays and the designs are fabulous.

We have in more Prima, Websters Pages, Basic Grey and restocked our Distress Inks. If you haven't caught up with the latest ranges from Kaiser you must do so as they are fantastic also.

If you are a fan of Fancy Pants we are teaching a 'MEGA' class at our retreat this weekend which includes 3 single and 1 double layout using the cute new range called It's the Little Things. It is a quirky range which suits a broad range of photos. Cost of class if you are not an attendee of the retreat is $64 which includes class & cooked lunch on Saturday. You must book by midday Friday at the latest though as we need to advise catering numbers.

Just wanted to advise everyone that we will be open Saturday morning from 10.00 till 1.00pm ...ish and then we will be closed until Wednesday April 27th. We hope you all have a fabulous Easter with lots of chocolate (apparently it is very good for you!! that's lucky isn't it!!). I know you don't need to twist my arm when it comes to Easter eggs and all things chocolate!

For those of you who are contemplating attending our upcoming retreat perhaps we can entice you with the fact that everyone who registers and pays their deposit by the end of April will go into our draw to win a $100 shopping voucher at Florewen or with Di at A time to create with me in Mildura. So make sure you get you registration form completed and forward it to us asap together with your $50 deposit.

2011 RETREAT REMINDER

Just a quick reminder to everyone that our combined retreat is on again from the 26-29th May. We have extended the weekend to a mini break giving you an extra night and day of scrapping. The retreat kicks off at 5.00pm on Thursday 26th and continues through the next 3 days to conclude on the Sunday 29th May at 3.00pm.

Di & I will be running a number of classes over the weekend and if there is enough demand we may be able to be offer relaxing Massages at certain times over the weekend as well (these will need to be prearranged). As usual there will be an abundance of fantastic food from the time you get up until the time you got to bed (you hardly have room to nibble on a lolly or chocolate you are so full!) .

So if you are ready to be pampered (an ideal Mother's day present) join A Time to Create with me (Di) and Florewen (Wendy) for an unforgettable weekend of creativity and laughter with no cooking, dishes or housework!!!

Scrapbook class Thurs 7th April

Due to our attendance at Paperific we will not be running our next class until the Thursday 7th April.

The page we are creating is quirky and colourful and is designed by the lovely ladies at Aussie Scrap Source. Techniques included on the layout include a little stamping(with faboulous Dark Room Door stamps) and also some simple hand stitching. Class is suitable for all levels of experience.
