When the Fourth of July rolls around this year, what are you especially excited about — the fireworks displays or the holiday picnics? It's America's 250th Birthday so there's plenty to celebrate!

Look to us as your guide to what’s going on around Miami-Dade on July 4, 2026 and keep checking back because we'll add more events as we find them! Here is our list of the best places to see Fourth of July fireworks in Miami.

Fourth of July Festival 250 United Hosted by Irie – Downtown Miami

Fireworks Spectacular over Biscayne Bay at midnight, drone show, concert featuring Ashanti, Ja Rule, The Fray, Orlando Mendez, Shaggy, 112 and Willy Chirino. Also, FIFA World Cup game viewing/fan zone,  1 p.m. to midnight, Bayfront Park, 301 Biscayne Blvd., Miami. RSVP here.

Annual Independence Day Fireworks and Patriotic Concert – Miami Beach

Patriotic Concert by Miami Music Festival Orchestra and Alumni Division singers performing selections including The Stars and Stripes Forever, Armed Forces Salute, 1812 Overture by Tchaikovsky and other patriotic-themed selections. The show is conducted by Michael Rossi, MMF Orchestra's Artistic Director. Event begins at 8:30 p.m. fireworks display following the concert. Lummus Park, Ocean Drive and 12 St. Miami Beach.

Fireworks at the Biltmore Hotel – Coral Gables

Gables Fourth festivities & fireworks extravaganza is at Biltmore Hotel Golf Course, 1200 Anastasia Ave. 7 p.m. performance by the Greater Miami Symphonic Band followed by a drone show and fireworks display. Venue opens at 5 p.m., with concert at 7 p.m. & fireworks at 9 p.m. 1200 Anastasia Ave., Coral Gables.  

Miami Gardens Food Trucks & Fireworks Show

Food trucks, DJ, raffles, bounce houses, live entertainment and culminating with a fireworks show. Gates open at 4 p.m. and fireworks show is at 9 p.m., Risco Park, 19000 NW 37 Ave., Miami Gardens. 

Fourth of July at Tropical Park – West Miami

Activities will include a DJ, live musical performances, demonstrations by Parks partners, and a Kids' Fun Zone with interactive activities and other fun lawn games. There will also be food truck vendors selling hamburgers, hot dogs, and other Independence Day favorites. 3-9 p.m. at Tropical Park, 7900 SW 40 St., Miami.

Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade

The Fourth of July celebration is one of the highlights of summer on Key Biscayne. The day-long schedule of events begins with the traditional parade along Crandon Blvd, from Harbor Dr. to West Wood Dr. There will food for sale at a a post-parade barbecue in the Village Green hosted by The Rotary Club. 11 a.m. along Crandon Blvd. 

Race to the 4th – City of Homestead

New drone show, live music and entertainment, kids fun zone, interactive FIFA World Cup fan zone, food truck pit crew. Fireworks display after sunset. 5-10 p.m., Homestead-Miami Speedway, One Ralph Sanchez Speedway Blvd., Homestead. 

Museum of Miami Fourth of July Celebration

Free family-friendly Independence Day celebration with a look at the new traveling exhibition “Freedom Plane: Documents that Forged a Nation” — from the National Archives including the Treaty of Paris and other artifacts. Also, a live reading from the winner of the museum's oratory contest. Patriotic music and kids' activities and food for sale too! 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., Museum of Miami, 101 W. Flagler St. Free.

Safety information, bounce houses and food trucks are featured at a free event in Davie. 

Ready Davie Family Fun and Public Safety event in 2026 is 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 13, at Bergeron Rodeo arena, 4201 SW 65th Way, Davie 33314.

The event offers storm safety information and with activities for youngsters, including opportunities to see and touch public safety vehicles. The event will include:

• Local and state agency booths and displays
• Hurricane preparedness vendors and resources
• Everbridge and Alert Davie registration
• Disaster preparedness giveaways and emergency kit raffles
• Davie Police Kids ID station
• Touch-a-truck experiences featuring emergency vehicles
• Bounce houses, face painting and children’s activities

Vintage fire truck. History of pirates display. In addition to a variety of exhibits, Plantation Historical Museum offers occasional entertainment and activities like trivia events.

The museum usually is open 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with occasional exceptions. Donations are accepted.

It's wise to verify it's open the day you are interested in. Please verify on the website.

Plantation Historical Museum, 954-797-2722, is at 511 N. Fig Tree Lane, Plantation 33317. Parking is free.

Miami's WLRN, our PBS affiliate and NPR station, is hosting a free screening of their film “Facing the Future: South Florida vs. Climate Change,” on Tuesday, June 9, at 7 p.m. at the Rosenstiel School of Marine, Atmospheric, and Earth Science on Key Biscayne. The showing is free but RSVP is required.

The film follows climate leaders and advocates over the course of a year, shedding light on both the urgency of the challenges and the resilience of individuals in the field working toward solutions, culminating at a regional summit in Key West where participants reflect on progress and the path forward.

Filmed throughout the 2024 hurricane season, it highlights innovative projects and grassroots efforts across the region, from infrastructure improvements to environmental education and citizen science in an effort to address the issue of sea-level rise and climate change in South Florida.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A moderated by WLRN's Environmental Editor Jenny Staletovich.

Delight in a family picnic, tossing a Frisbee with friends or a nature walk on the Fourth of July, and Broward Regional Parks are offering free entry. The usual holiday fee is waived.

Quiet Waters in Deerfield Beach, TY Park in Hollywood and Tree Tops Park in Davie are among the array of  Broward regional parks that regularly feature a fee on holidays and weekends.

The regular weekend and holiday fee of $3 per vehicle for up to 8 people is waived in 2026 for  July 4, and entry is free. Plenty of Broward parks offer free parking. For Broward parks along A1A including North Beach Park in Hollywood, regular parking fees apply.

Some regional parks are packed with amenities.  Some activities, like disc golf, are free. Other amenities including water playgrounds, require a fee. 

Regional Parks include:

• TY Park, 954-357-8811, 3300 N. Park Road, Hollywood 33021. Amenities include Water park, with fees.  The park offers a playground, tennis, volleyball and basketball.  A walking path around a lake is  under shady trees. 
• Quiet Waters Park, 954-357-5100, 401 S. Powerline Road,  Deerfield Beach  33442. Amenities include nature trails, Splash Adventure Water Park with a fee, mountain bike trails with a fee, Ski Rixen USA water cable skiing and wakeboarding with a fee, 18 hole disc golf course, bring your Frisbee or purchase a disc at the office, Woofing Waters Dog Park for a fee.
•  Tree Tops Park, 954-357-5130, 3900 SW 100th Ave., Davie 33328. Tree Tops offers lush nature trails, a tower, Safety Town play area, playground and equestrian paths.

Some Broward parks and Natural Areas, including Fern Forest in North Broward, are free on week days, weekends and holidays.

The FIFA World Cup soccer frenzy is set to descend on Miami from June 11 through July 19. Because tickets to the matches at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens are not only hard to come by but expensive, we've rounded up a list of watch parties and other FIFA-themed events around Miami.

From Sunday, June 14 through Saturday, July 11 there will be interactive soccer zones, daily pop-ups, youth skill clinics, oversized inflatable soccer balls, live match screenings at the many bars and restaurants that dot Lincoln Road and on Sunday, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Soccer Stars will host a Family Game Day with interactive play, community activities and youth programming. 

Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe: Come to one of their three locations, Doral – 5335 NW 87 Ave.; Coral Gables – 3005 Ponce de Leon Blvd.; Miami Worldcenter Downtown Miami – 851 NE 1 Ave. and when there is a game at Hard Rock Stadium or France is playing, they'll offer $2 mimosas, frozen mimosas and French Riviera cocktails.

InterContinental Miami: The downtown Miami hotel is hosting watch parties at their Toro Toro restaurant with themed drink specials for participating FIFA countries, themed poolside cabanas and photo opportunities throughout the hotel and a “Skylawn Shoot the Shot” rooftop greenspace area with pick up soccer, all throughout the FIFA 2026 Tournament. 100 Chopin Plaza.

KIMPTON Epic Hotel: At this other downtown Miami hotel they're transforming the lobby into a “SubSoccer” interactive bench activation, a FIFA-themed installation by the hotel's artist in residence and “Copa Social” watch parties at Area 31 Lounge. 270 Biscayne Blvd. Way.

NoMI Village: Come watch three matches on Saturday, June 13 from 3-9 p.m. the matchups are Qatar vs. Switzerland at 3 p.m., Morocco vs. Brazil at 6 p.m. and Haiti vs. Scotland at 9 p.m. There will be giveaways between matches, family-friendly games, food vendors, music and a live broadcast from Island TV. 12351 NW 7 Ave., North Miami. Orchestra Miami is joining with the Music Ministry of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral to create the Saturdays at Trinity Series on Saturdays at 7 p.m. in their historic sanctuary in Downtown Miami. These concerts will feature music performed by soloists from Orchestra Miami along with singers from South Florida.

The series will explore the lush and opulent music of the Art Nouveau era (roughly 1885 to the 1930s). This period is known for its opulence, lushness and eclecticism, with music that was often theatrical, grandly scaled and adorned with complex harmonies.

The  concert includes chamber music by Gabriel Fauré, Francis Poulenc and Georges Bizet, and songs by Maurice Ravel. Here is the program:

Admission for these concerts are on a Pay-What-You-Wish basis, starting at $5.

Trinity Cathedral is located at 464 NE 16 Street, Miami, 33132. Free parking is available at the church (tell the attendant you are there for the concert). There is also nearby street parking, parking in the Omni garage, or you can take the free Metromover to the Omni Station.

Since 1991, Regal has hosted special summertime entertainment for families to enjoy and ignite a love of moviegoing in each new generation.

Admission is only $1 per ticket — with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Tickets are available at the theatre box office and kiosks, on the Regal app and at REGMovies.com.

All Summer Movie Express attendees can get $3 off a Snack Pack, which includes a junior-sized drink, snack-sized popcorn and fruit gummies, with Dippin’ Dots for an additional $3.

The 2026 Summer in the City free concert series in Boca Raton features tribute bands on select Fridays from June 12 to Aug. 7, 2026. Shows start at 8 p.m. (doors at 7 p.m.) with free admission. The lineup includes tributes to Billy Joel, Eagles, Bob Marley, and it culminates with the annual Battle of the Bands.

Mizner Park Amphitheater, in the center of downtown Boca Raton, has become a hub for free concerts, festivals and other entertainment. Be sure to take your own seating for these FREE family-friendly events.

Attendees are encouraged to walk, bike, carpool or use free parking at City Hall and the Boca Raton Library. All shows are rain or shine.

Outside chairs, food, beverages and pets are not permitted; food and beverages will be available for purchase on site, plus you can usually rent a chair for $5.

Zoo Miami's popular $15 Mondays promotion is back for 2026. From June 8 through Sept. 28, 2026, you can get one admission into the zoo for just $15 (plus tax). That's a significant discount from the regular price of $25.95 for those 13 and older and $21.95 for children 3-12.

For the special Monday deal, you can pay just $15 (plus tax) per person but must purchase tickets ONLINE ONLY. Also, there are a limited number of tickets available, so you have to act fast.

Here’s a refresher of what you can see at the zoo, which is located at 12400 SW 152nd St., Miami.

• Florida Mission: Everglades: Featuring almost 60 species of animals found in the Everglades, such as roseate spoonbills, alligators, crocodiles and turtles. 
• Wings of Asian Aviary: Waterfalls, tree-covered paths and a dino dig are the habitat for nearly 85 species of free-flying birds. 
• Amazon & Beyond: Central and South America come alive in the 27-acre exhibit where you can see more than 100 species found in those regions. Jaguars, anacondas, eagles and river otters await.

The South Florida Adventure Pass offers unlimited entry for five South Florida attractions with a summer package price. This year's pass adds Zoo Miami to the four Broward attractions that are participating.

For one price, you'll receive entry to the five attractions as often as you want to go. The ticket in 2026 is valid May 15 to September 30 with prices of $60 for teens and adults and $50 for ages 3-12. Tax is extra. 

South Florida Adventure Pass

The South Florida Adventure Pass includes:

• Sawgrass Recreation Park west of Weston, which features airboat rides in The Everglades and reptile exhibits.
• Flamingo Gardens in Davie, which includes botanical gardens and a wildlife sanctuary.
• Museum of Science & Discovery in Fort Lauderdale, which features interactive exhibits, wildlife and an outdoor Science Park.
• Butterfly World in Coconut Creek, in north Broward, which features plants, butterflies (of course) and birds.
• ZooMiami, in South Dade, which is an addition to the pass this year.

If you previously purchased an annual pass to one of the participating attractions, you are able to add the others for a discounted rate of $50 for adults and $40 for children. You can buy the pass at participating attractions.
