Anclote Island is a favorite destination of Clearwater boat rentals. This beautiful island and its unspoiled beaches offer a tranquil respite or an excellent fishing experience with catches of snook, sea trout, and mullet.

A scenic lighthouse built in 1887 overlooks bird sanctuaries and sparkling water.

Located three miles off the coast of Tarpon Springs, Anclote Island is accessible only by private boat. We will take you ashore so you can soak up the preserve´s exquisite four-mile-long beach.

Visitors can swim and sunbathe at the beach, then fire up a grill and enjoy a picnic. We can arrange for a yoga instructor to help you greet the day and then schedule your massage to get your memorable day to a soothing start. Scattering ashes in a sea burial is what is now known as a green burial. It is not only environmental concerns that drive these funerals at sea. It is the simplicity of water and sky. The dirge of the pipe organ, the muffled tones and stifled cries in a traditional ceremony often adds to the weight on the family of the deceased.

A burial at sea service will be presided over by one of our captains and his crew. We will arrange a post-ceremony luncheon for your family and will make possible any special wishes that you have for that day.
