Don't panic however, our intention is not to bombard everyone with masses of email, just to keep everyone up to date on a reasonably regular basis as to what's happening.

We are Now Taking Orders

We have been hit hard by the weather again over the weekend. In view of this, we have had no option but to stop taking new orders as of now, until after the holidays.

New Range - Bioethanol Fires

We have introduced a brand new range of bioethanol fires. Bioethanol fires require no flue, chimney, electric or gas installation, making them far cheaper, faster and convenient for the consumer to install, without the need for plumbers or electricians. They provide the warmth and beauty of a real flame and as 95% of fireplaces today are used for decorative purposes, they are increasingly popular with consumers.

Bioethanol fires burn an environmentally friendly fuel, bioethanol, with no soot, sparks, ash or nasty fumes, making them ideal both indoors and outdoors. Bioethanol is a renewable and sustainable energy source.

New Stove - The Hillandale Monterrey

We have a new range of wood burning stove online, the Hillandale Monterrey. This stove is available in three outputs, 3kw, 5km and 7kw. The 5kw and 7kw models are Defra approved, allowing you to burn wood in a smoke controlled area.

We will shortly have the Monterrey 5 on display in our showroom, and are pleased to be able to offer the whole range to order online with free UK Mainland delivery (excluding Highlands).

New Stove - The Nordpeis Bergen

The Nordpeis Bergen is the latest addition to the Nordpeis range of woodburning stoves. Incorporating a clean and contemporary design, the Bergen is at home in many installations; from traditional to ultra modern.

The Nordpeis Bergen has an output of 5kw. We have them in stock and also on display in our showroom.

New Product - Rotorvent Ultralite

The Rotorvent Ultralite is a brand new addition to the Rotorvent range of revolving chimney cowls. It's lighter, thanks to an aluminium globe, which also enables it to operate at wind speeds up to 100mph. It is suitable for use on chimneys with appliances fired by gas, wood, coal etc, although not smokeless fuels (which can corrode the aluminium fins). Reduced cost packaging make this both a top quality and great value revolving chimney cowl.

MD Plus - New Firestop Spacer

Negarra have produced a new HETAS approved firestop spacer for their MD Plus range. This much improved design gives a less open appearance to finished installations. We have placed our initial stock order with Negarra, and they should be available in a couple of weeks.

New Product: Colt Top Lid 3

We have added a new product to our range of disused chimney cowls, the Colt Top Lid 3. The top lid is used to cap off unused chimneys to save heat loss and stop bird, insect and rain ingress. Its unique design allows for ventilation with the chimney stack. It is manufactured in durable steel, with a terracotta painted finish. It fits chimney pots from 150mm-250mm, and is supplied complete with straps and band for fixing.

New Product - The Brewer Top Stop

The Brewer Top Stop is the complete answer to protecting your chimney whilst in use and during the shut-down season. Designed for use with open fires, the Brewer Top Stop incorporates a damper operated by stainless steel cable attached to a handle located to the side of the fireplace. The cowl can therefore be closed off completely when the fire is not being used.

Dinak DW is a twin wall prefabricated flue system. Designed for condensing (with joint) and dry (without joint) applications. It has a SW316 inner, SW304 outer, with 30mm continuous Rockwool insulation. It can be used on the following appliances:- wood burning & multi fuel stoves, domestic heating and hot water systems, condensing boilers, industrial/commercial heating, bakery ovens, open fireplaces, biomass boilers etc. Features of this system are as follows:-

Chimney Liner Price Crash

We have dropped the prices for our 125mm and 150mm diameter multi fuel chimney liner. This is implemented against a rising nickel content surcharge for stainless steel. As such, we see it as a short term measure, with liner prices inevitable having to rise in the short to medium term.

New Chimney Fan - The Tiracamino

We have a brand new chimney fan available, the Vortice Tiracamino. The Vortice Tiracamino is a centrifugal extract fan for installation on chimney tops. It is designed to draw out smoke from the fireplace, and can also be used as an extractor fan when the fireplace is not lit.

Franco Belge Price Increase

We have been informed by Franco Belge of an increase in retail prices. They put this down to the exchange rate between the Euro and the Pound, and also on increased transport costs.

Some good news however, is that the Montfort Elegance and the Mote Carlo models have actually seen a decrease in price, and the Savoy Elegance remains at the pre increase price. Updated prices are online now.
