American Idol Season 14 is here! I think I was able to watch 4 episodes already? As I have read in the articles about this Season, they are looking for not just a singer but an artist. Somewhere in the likes of Taylor Swift? Oh, a writer/composer as well? I always tell my wife that if you are a writer, you will really have a longevity in the music industry as you can write your own song and not depend on the other composers. Now, my wife wants me to teach her how to play the guitar so that she can compose. Oh, by the way, she does know how to write. She actually did compose a song already and I did the accompaniment. She wrote the lyrics and compose the melody. How did she do it? She sang it. That is why she wants to learn how to play the guitar. Who knows, she will be famous someday, right?

It has been so long since I have not written on this blog. I was busy? Maybe! Anyways, I went to some blogs that I frequent before. I am really glad that they are still here. I sort of miss blogging. Well, obviously, right? Almost half a year of no post. Let us say that I prefer reading than writing these days. What are my plans for this blog? I want to resurrect this of course! I am glad to have found this: foam crown molding. I am planning to build a reading nook for my wife who loves to read before sleeping especially during weekends. I plan to place it by the window. I just need to convince her to trust my carpentry and arttistry. She prefers to buy ready made things while I like to build them. Sometimes, we do not arrive in an agreement thus nothing is accomplished. Well, no one wants to give in? Sometimes she tells me to build a third floor where I can do everything that I want. Now, that would be more expensive.

My wife is looking at wedding bands for women. We already have our wedding bands but maybe she is planning to buy another set for our church wedding soon! Is it not the man that should buy those? Well, I want her to do it so that she will really be able to get what she wants. Oh, we are still in the planning stage of our church wedding. No definite plans yet.

It is summer and convenience while travelling is very important. Light packing is also essential. Well, click for drawstring bags! I really like these bags as very light and easy to carry. I just need to put all my stuff inside. I prefer many small ones and a bigger one to put all of those! I learned it from my wife. I label them or make it color coded. So, time to pack! Still have time! Summer is still here!

This native instruments really amazes me. Could this be the one that they use in the film industry? Listening to music, I always want to hear all the sounds in the ensemble. You know, all the clicks and pans and strings and piano and all kinds of sounds incorporated in that particular song. Just like the one in American Idol's final song last season wherein there were even drum sounds and the whole band for the song! Well, real music to my ears, eh!

There's a recording studio near our place and I heard that they have cool Sony studio headphones. Well, it is important in a recording studio, to have nice headphones. I could still remember when we had our own recording session and the headphones were not that great that time. I think it affected our output also. I shall go and check it out and maybe suggest it to them. Well, my son loves to sing and I would like him to experience recording his own song too.

Wow! Great sight of cool godin guitars from guitar center. Yes, I do use all superlatives when it comes to guitars. I think I need to buy a new guitar. Mine is already a classic of sort or something like antique? Well, I know that it is of great value already but new ones are of course something to try too. for music enthusiasts like me, old and new alike will really be music to its meaning. Hmmm... maybe I will just buy one as a gift for my son. See, what music can do to me? It gives me lot of ideas!

I mentioned we went to the mall today. We bought new knives! Finally! Actually, we were lucky because it is SALE! Yes, 50% off! We were able to buy three knives! My wife got the paring knife for her fruits. Well, she plans to go on a diet again. She is heavy and very ehavy at that at 83.6 kg! Imagine that! She was diagnosed also to be in the prediabetic stage. I need to support her on her diet or all our money will go to diabetic maintenance.

American Idol 13 is already running. I am not that interested and I do not follow anyone really. Maybe I like The Voice more now than AI. Anyways, I am glad that Jennifer Lopez is back. There is a half Filipina also in the competition--Malaya Watson. I hope she makes it. She is more of an American in looks and ways so I hope she makes it. Well, I am not bitter about Jessica's losing before...okay I am. Hahaha.

I found a logo printed table runner that is perfect for our company's Easter event. Yes, that early I am already scouting for it. Well, I want the event to be special and for the people to remember our company name. I am planning that there shall be more tables with logos and the rest will just be with the company colors. I am excited right now and I can picture the event inside my head.

My wife is watching It Takes A Man and a Woman again. She is waiting for me and it makes her busy. How do I know? Well, I just know. Kidding aside, I called her a while ago and I could hear the sound of the TV and the voice of the main character in the movie. It's a really funny movie as I was able to watch it before. :)

My wife told me yesterday that she wants to invest in health this 2014. Well, at least on those dietary supplements and drinks and foods that she discovered online. She is also influenced by a celebrity who really did get thin after going through those regimens. One thing that my wife did not mention is the training part which I think the celebrity she is following is actually doing. We are going to the mall right now for icon jackets! Well, all of us need new ones. We got big already and all our jackets seem want to retire already. My guitar is still at the repair shop. Come to think of it, I almost forgot about it if I had not seen this gibson sg white at the web. I am surprised that Gibson has actually been this affordable! Yes, I had to recheck again the published price. It costs less than one hundred dollars! Oh, I want to buy it now!

My wife's nephew has an Atkinson. Yes, he plays in a group and he also holds his own concerts for chairty. Pretty amazing for a young child.

Do you know how to play any musical instrument? I want to meet my wife's nephew who happened to be living in the States. Well, I want to know how it is to play a horn. All I know is my guitar. Maybe we can exchange ideas and even compose some songs and melody using our own instruments.

I would like my son to be musically inclined too. I think he is starting his love for music as he mentioned before that he wanted to learn how to play the guitar.

Music is life. Music is important. Music is happiness. It is obvious, is it not? Yes, I love music.

Looking an equipment for cutting torches? Just call my wife! Well, yes, she had that job before as a purchaser and a canvasser for a construction company. That is why she is more knowledgable than me when it comes to equipments. Ask me about gadgets and the computers, that is mine. Hardware and house materials? I give it to her! That is why sometimes, she really tries to haggle with the workers she encounters whenever we hire one for the renovation of our house. She is the construction woman. :)

My wife surprised me with a new toy! Well, according to her, a gift for my birthday! To think that she already gave me an iPhone5S this Christmas, for my birthday, she gave me an iPad! I could not thank her enough. She is really a sweet wife. She wanted me to realize my being a fan. Yes, I am an Apple fan!

I also have iPods! The iPod Shuffle is not in the picture anymore as I sold it after I had my iPod Nano. The iPod Touch will soon be gone also as it is outdated already. You know, you need to let go sometimes.

Well, definitely spend, spend this season. It is time to give back and be thankful of all the blessings receiver all throughout the year. We remember our friends and lovedones. We give them gifts. Have I mentioned that I am a member of our church choir? We will be holding a concert next year and I was appointed for the sounds... well, make sure that we would produce not just good voices but total good music in the ears of the audience. I have to source it out so I also asked my fellow choir members to contribute. Ramil, arrived with a peavey amp! Well, great thinking Brother! Surely, that would help especially if the venue that we would be able to land is very big. We need to amplify!
