Crutch Tips # 2

Water, Ice, and Grease

Slippery surfaces are to be approached with extreme caution if even at all.

Water covered surfaces can be navigated with caution depending on the slickness of the surface.
Ice covered surfaces are to be avoided all together.
Grease covered surfaces can also be navigated with even more caution than that of wet surfaces.
It is very important not to commit to putting weight on either crutch until you are sure that the crutch will not slip out from under you.
Always plant your crutch first to make sure you have a firm grip on the walking surface and then put just enough weight on the crutch or crutches to make a small step.
Always keep your center of gravity grounded with your body and not shifting the full weight of your body forward on the crutches and always try to standup straight as you are walking.

Use these tips and navigating slippery surfaces should result in much less chance of falling, slipping, or bodily injury.

Stay safe!

Walking with crutches in the winter or wet season can be very challenging to say the least and crutch tips of the highest caliber do not stand a chance against slick surfaces.

CRUTCH TIP # 1

Never walk on painted surfaces, namely painted lines on asphalt. Yellow paint is by far the most slick of surfaces when it comes to walking with crutches. It seems that the yellow painted surfaces that don the entrances to store fronts and other public areas are there to attempt to make surfaces safer and add traction for older folks and those whom are disabled or injured, but from my experience these surfaces are very slick and should be avoided at all costs.
That's it for this post.

Is China Poised to Takeover the Internet and the World?!

2018-12-11T10:56:00.002-08:00

With the recent Facebook user rating system introduced and The United States rapidly adopting China's practices on policing free speech or speech that does not vibe with the powers that be. I believe that in the very near future we will all be under the scrutiny of a global "Social Credit System" that will control every aspect of our lives whether we like it or not. China has already set goals to have this "Social Credit System" fully operational in China by 2020. This system "doesn’t just monitor the nation’s almost 1.4 billion citizens. It’s also designed to control and coerce them, in a gigantic social engineering experiment that some have called the “Gamification of Trust.” according to GroundZeroMedia.org China is also getting help from Google who has developed a censored search engine called Dragonfly.

Closed Circuit cameras are becoming more and more prevalent in towns and cities. Soon there may be nowhere we can escape the governments watchful eyes because of these cameras . All of out actions will be recorded, where we go, what we eat, where we work, how we spend our money, and all our online activity will be monitored and stored in vast databases and will be used to judge what we can and cannot do. States like South Carolina are already considering such a database as I am writing this article.

Ultimately this technology may lead to an Artificial Intelligence being that judges if we are good or bad and punish us accordingly. This could mean restricting our activity online, our ability to find work, buy things, and any number of other things. We are moving closer to world ruled by the ideology of the Chinese regime whose ultimate goal is to rule the internet and the world with the iron fist of Technocracy. It is also very plausible to think that A.I. robots could be hunting us down in near future if we break the law. Boston Dynamics has made leaps and bounds in robotic ambulation to the extent that we could have "Chappie" like robots in the military and police force a lot sooner than you might expect.
