Most people nowadays prefer to stay near amenities such as a bathroom and bed, rather than an old school tent camping. And after seeing this thing I’m with most people. This free-floating, catamaran suite is a mini eco-lodge. Crafted by Dutch designer Marijn Beije to try and encourage people to get outdoors without ever really being outdoors. The first one launched around three weeks ago and more are on their way. I’m excited to see about people’s experiences in them.

The collaboration between Strada Customs and YOTEL was formed to reflect the growing ’fixed gear’ cycling culture in Manhattan and surrounding boroughs. Curated by Stink Grenade Studios, Strada Customs partnered with YOTEL to build 6 co-branded bikes. Each bike features a customized seat made with suede fabric and contrast-colored stitching in a quilted pattern, that complements YOTEL’s iconic brand colored bikes in purple and green. Offering a fleet of bikes as a free amenity to hotel guests this summer.

Everyone has a dream car. Mine has been the Porsche GT2 for years. But, seeing this Porsche 918 Spyder has me second-guessing. This naughty girl isn’t only equipped with a 562hp V8, it also hosts a 107hp electric motor for the front axles and a 121hp electric motor for the rear. That makes for a 3.1 second 0-60 mph time. And with a 6.8kwh lithium-ion battery, she can go 95 mph on electricity alone for 15.5 miles.

This Audi engineered e-bike is one of the sleekest things I have ever come across. Im not sure whether its the awesome carbon fiber framework or the record breaking 2.3kW electric motor ( that will reach 50mph! ) that attract me to this bike. It could also be the onboard touchscreen computer and video camera, that can track and trace tricks and trails alike. Who knows, maybe its the auto adjustable seat, that wont get in the way of tricks. One things for sure, people will break there necks watching you fly by on this beauty.

When post-grad student Cameron D. Price was asked to capture the culture, history and identity of Spain in an object, he designed this slick lamp. Its crafted of vellum transparent paper that allows for layering without sacrificing light. When illuminated the inner laser cut tiles project fresh designs on its interesting surface. Complete with some rad wood work, this lamp is sure to set off any room.

This is the Skull Bang, a piece made entirely from black ceramic and featuring an attractive stylised skull on its dial. It is already a collector’s item, limited to just 100 pieces worldwide, and has been specially developed by Hublot for the brand’s friend and long-term partner in Paris, Laurent Picciotto.

Aston Martin will be releasing the successor to the DBS series during 2013, but not before the current generation is ended with an Ultimate edition. Here are the first pictures and details.
The British brand has taken an unusual step by releasing details on their official site before officially announcing the model to the press. The reasons behind this are unknown but the early look isn’t unwelcome either.
The DBS Ultimate edition is available in either Coupe or Volante body styles with a choice of Carbon Black or Quantanium Silver exterior liveries. Each example will also feature smoked rear lights, Black Diamond wheels, calipers painted in red, yellow or black as well as special DBS Ultimate badges.
