What do I need to know?

Smart features and personalization in Gmail, Chat and Meet is the first setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be used to offer smart features within each of these services. Smart features in Gmail, Chat, and Meet that depend on your data include:

Automatic email filtering/categorization (Primary/Social/Promotions)

•

Smart Compose and Smart Reply in email

•

Summary cards above your email (Package tracking, travel, and more)

•

Extracting event details to create calendar entries

Smart features and personalization in other Google products is the second setting, and controls whether your Gmail, Chat, and Meet data can be shared with other Google products to enable personalization features. Features in other Google products that depend on Gmail, Chat, and Meet data include:

Maps displaying restaurant reservations

Travel bundling your itineraries

•

Google Pay showing loyalty cards

What do I need to do?

If you want to continue using the above features and more after January 25th, 2021, you need to choose in Gmail settings to keep these features on. If you have already made your choices for these settings on either your mobile Gmail app or desktop, no further action is needed. You can change these options in Gmail settings at any time. If you're using a desktop, log in to your Gmail account to configure these settings for fmragtops.blog@gmail.com. Learn more

From your phone

If you're using your phone, open your Gmail app (available to install on both iOS and Android) to configure these settings for the fmragtops.blog@gmail.com account. Important policy changes for Google Account storage

Dear Google User,

We are writing to let you know that we recently announced new storage policies for Google Accounts using Gmail, Google Drive (including Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drawings, Forms, and Jamboard files) and/or Google Photos that bring us in line with industry practices. Since you have previously used one or more of these products in your Google Account storage, we wanted to tell you about the new policies well before they go into effect on June 1, 2021. Below is a summary of the new policies. Please reference our Help Center article for a complete list of what's changing.

Summary of the new policies (effective June 1, 2021):

•

If you're inactive for 2 years (24 months) in Gmail, Drive or Photos, we may delete the content in the product(s) in which you're inactive. Google One members who are within their storage quota and in good-standing will not be impacted by this new inactive policy.

•

If you exceed your storage limit for 2 years, we may delete your content across Gmail, Drive and Photos.

What this means for you:

•

You won't be impacted by these changes unless you've been inactive or over your storage limit for 2 years. As this policy goes into effect June 1, 2021, the earliest it would be enforced is June 1, 2023.

•

After June 1, 2021, if you are either inactive or over your storage limit, we will send you email reminders and notifications in advance and prior to deleting any content.

•

Even if you are either inactive or over your storage limit for one or more of these services and content is deleted, you will still be able to sign in.

•

Note: The inactivity and over quota storage policies will apply only to consumer users of Google services. Google Workspace, G Suite for Education and G Suite for Nonprofits policies are not changing at this time, and admins should look to the Admin Help center for storage policies related to their subscriptions.

Alright folks. I have made a decision on where I'm going to spew from now on. I went with ANHosting by midPhase, and have decided to use WordPress's software. I'm still waiting on my new Domain Name to do whatever it is those things do before you can use them.

Hopefully I won't wake up to find out this all a dream. If so, it's a nightmare. I think I may have bitten off more than I can chew. There is more info on this than my tiny brain can process, so again, any tips would be appreciated.

Since I am moving, and I have no idea how long it's going to take for me to get the new blog up and running, I've decided to make this the last dream interpretation I'll do on Blogger.

Blogger is hosting a blog for pedophiles, and I'm going to have to quote Eric Cartman, and say, "Screw you guys, I'm going home!" If they refuse to remove this blog, I'm gone. There are too many other places to host blogs.

Check out the last line of the description of their blog:

Another thing I found interesting is this reference to the "Boylove Code Of Ethics" (Which sounds like an oxymoron):

There is another line on this blog that I think I have heard somewhere before:

In other words, just because we have a sexual attraction to boys (that we did not choose to have) does not mean that we have the right to pursue a sexual relationship with a boy. That isn't to say that the sexual relationship in itself is wrong. Emphasis Mine

It seems I have heard that line used to justify another alternative lifestyle. Not to equate homosexuality to pedophilia, but these pervs are trying to use the same reasoning. It don't wash.

In conclusion, I don't get how Blogger can host such bile. If they choose to continue to do so, I'm leaving. Not that it will make a difference to Blogger, but I choose to not be a part of anything that associates itself with pedophilia. I've said this other places, but just to make sure you all know where I stand on this: Anyone convicted of a sex crime against a child should be executed. No treatment, no therapy, no rehabilitation, and no recidivism!

As I noted in the post below, I am thinking of leaving Blogger in light of their hosting of a blog for pedophiles. I have been experimenting with WordPress' free service, but I'm not entirely satisfied. I like most of the stuff with WordPress, but, and I may be wrong about this, it doesn't appear that you can tweak your template. Does anyone have any suggestions, or advice for finding a new home for my spewage?

According to an article in The Advocate, Civil Rights organizations are chartering busses to bring displaced New Orleanians back to vote. Why couldn't they get these people busses to evacuate?

Easy, our corrupt incumbent politicians can't hold on to their jobs without these displaced voters, but they could care less about the actual well being of the people that keep them in office. Politicians like "Katrina" Mary Landrieu, and Governor Kathleen Blabineaux-Bunko can't be re-elected if they don't have a herd of sheep that they can bus to polls and tell them how to vote.

This is how it's always been. The DNC, and civil rights groups send busses into the the inner-cities to bus people to the polls so they can vote democrat. The only difference is now, they are bringing them in from further away. The thing that gets me is that they plan to vote for the same people that abandoned them in their time of need.

One of Nagin’s best-known competitors, Lt. Gov. Mitch Landrieu, opened a new campaign headquarters Monday in Baton Rouge at 6002 Perkins Road, Suite B-3...

All of them [the displaced voters that spoke with the Advocate] expressed strong interest in the election, saying they vote in almost all of them. They split their votes between Nagin and Landrieu, or would not say whom they were voting for.

Jesus H. Christ. And we wonder why Louisiana is so f-ed up. No matter how our politicians screw us, we just keep on voting for them.

An Article in Time Magazine further documents Ray "Willy Wonka" Nagin's status as the fromt runner in the mayoral race in New Orleans:

Public Service Announcement

Ladies and Gentleman, before I post the dream interpretations I wanted to call your attention to something. The Anti-Hippie has just made me aware that received an anonymous comment on his site telling him to wish me congratulations for getting back together with my ex-wife.

First off, let me assure you that I am not back together with my ex-wife. I have no plans of getting back together with my ex wife. And, I do not have any desire to get back together with my ex-wife.

As to who left the anonymous comment? I imagine it would be my ex-girlfriend. She is seeing someone else now, so I can't imagine why she feels it necessary to try to embarass me. I have done nothing to make a public mockery of her. I haven't even posted her name here. All I have done since she told me she was seeing someone else is avoided her. She is banned from commenting here, btw, for making similar comments.

Please, I ask everyone to disregard any anonymous correspondence sent to them about me. Disregard any correspondence from unknown sources about me. Especially since this will probably get worse from here on out.

[Indescribable] A Brief History of F M Ragtops

For those of you who do not know Monsieur F.M. Ragtops is a native of Louisiana. Now we're talking French here, but there's a difference between ordinary French and Cajun French, and Mssr. Ragtops is the latter.

You see, French of the traditional surrender monkey variety, are from France, where they get 26 weeks paid vacation, and have laws against firing the incompetent. They also have short work weeks, as an effort to reduce unemployment. The thinking being that if everyone only works 20 hours a week, then you need to hire twice as many people. The fact that they are already half as productive, by default seems to escape them.

Louisiana French, however are descendants of a rare breed of Frenchmen. Their ancestors had to have courage, survival skills, a sense of adventure, and a set of balls big enough to face hostile Natives demanding they pay up on their gambling debts. Think about it, the mere voyage across the Atlantic was treacherous. So while the cowards stayed at home, surrendering to... Everything, a few courageous Frenchmen settled in America.

The French, in France, also did their best to lop off the heads of anyone with any sense of silly concepts like freedom, and liberty. This had a serious negative impact on the gene pool as well. So that's a little background on FM's cultural heritage.

Now, back to FM himself. Despite those who surmise that his name means F*** Them Ragtops (ragheads), or those who think it might have to do with enjoying listening to FM radio in his convertible (ragtop), his name actually is F.M. Ragtops. That's right. Francois Maurice Ragtops - pronounced Razh-Toe. Little known, but entirely true.

FM was born in a swamp, or as they call them, bayou. I mean IN a swamp. It's common practice in the area, that when a child is to be born, the pregnant mother rows out in a small boat, and when the child is born, it must first survive the swamp, and all it's dangers on it's own, thus proving it's worth. If the child succumbs to drowning, or crocs, it is considered "too French," and is not even mourned.

The next 20 some years are a bit sketchy, but ultimately, he rose to the lower middle of the blog O'sphere, had kids, lots of bad relationships, and started claiming his name was Brant. Yeah right. Lot's of French named Brant. Got a bridge to sell me too, FM?

So there you have it, the history of F.M.Ragtops, as brought to you by Radioactive Liberty Industries. Hopefully now, you're just a little bit ~~dumber~~ smarter.

[Therapy] Sorry Took So Long, But The Dreams Are Here...Finally!

Well, the young'un seems to be doing better. Sorry it took so long, to get this posted, but the young'uns come first. I had a dream tonight. I dreamt that I could get through the next episode of 24 without seeing Jack Bauer wearing a purse. I was awakened by an unkown assailant with dirty blond hair hitting me with a man purse, and shouting "Stop dreaming, NOW!"

Anyhoo, on with dreams!

Sssteve: I had a dream last night that when I visited So. California I had to speak in spanish because nobody spoke english.... No wait.. that actually happened!! Sorry!!

FM: No harm no foul, chief. But what did you expect going to a foreign country?

Steve the Pirate: I had a dream two nights ago that I was in JC Penney shopping for jeans, accompanied by my wife and Chuck Norris.

I'm serious. It was a real dream.

FM: I need more information. It appears you've been having lots of nightmares lately, and you had to hire Chuck Norris to be in your dreams to protect you. Either that, or you're just freakin' nuts.

The Anti-Hippie: I had a dream that I got a date for prom!

And she was hot, and life was good.

FM: Well, that dream is pretty much self-explanatory, just don't sleep too long on it. You have to wake up before you get married, or the dream will turn into a nightmare.

FIAR: I had a dream where everyone lived in peace and harmony. At first I thought it was Hippy Hell. Than I realized that there were no Hippies in this world, and that is why it was so peaceful.

Flowers Bloom: I had a dream that a world without Hippies was a violent, desolate hell where no one had any rights, and there was no love at all.

FM: And?

Isis: I had a dream where I ate some tasty, delicious moonbats. Deep fried, barbecued, baked, and basted.

Mmmm. Moonbats.

FM: Have you ever tried moonbat cooked over an open fire on a spit? It's absolutely delicious. But you got to baste it regularly with a sauce with high sugar content. Moonbat is so mushy, without that bark from the caramalized sugar, it'll fall off the spit.

Oh My God! The Tigers Are Dead...

It's worse than I thought. Out of ESPN.Com's panel of experts, all but two picked LSU to beat UCLA. Two more picked LSU to win the whole tourney. Even worse, The latest Sportsnation Poll has 38% of voters picking LSU to play Florida in the finals. Crap! Well, it was a great run while it lasted. Maybe the baseball team will get us another national championship.

UPDATE: The Tigers have died. They got the snot beat out of them. Thanks Dicky V.

[Filthy Lies] Weekend at Glenny's

A Filthy Lie

Once again, I have enlisted the services of my surveillance dung beetle, Algore, at the behest of Overlord Harvey at The Alliance. Harvey posed the question, and I'm paraphrasing, what kind of fun stuff does Evil Glenn do on the weekends? To answer this question, Algore was able to swipe last Saturdays pages from Evil Glenn's day planner. The following is a direct quote:

5:00 am - Satanic Ritual of the Flies

6:00 am - Gather neighborhood puppies for breakfast

7:00 am - Blend neighborhood puppies into smoothies

8:00 am - Dance the Robot

9:00 am/10:00 am - Boil bodies in turpentine.

11:00 am/1:00 pm - Lunch

2:00 pm - Feed left over turpentine-body sludge to hobos at soup kitchen

3:00 pm/5:00 pm - Laugh gleefully while enjoying the gruesome deaths of said hobos.

6:00 pm - Collect stomachs of said dead hobos to make purses for instagranny and her friends

7:00 pm/9:00 pm - Make hobo stomach purses.

10:00 pm till - Sleep and dream of hobos writhing in agony from eating turpentine-body sludge.

That Glenn Reynolds is one sick SOB. I hear on Sundays he skins the dead hobos to make people suits out of them. Is there any depth too low for Evil Glenn? Heh, doubt it.
