Recently we were asked to photograph the wonderful food created by Chef at The Beresford Restaurant at the Balmer Lawn for their new menu pages on their website, along with pictures of their refurbished rooms, and staff celebrating the hotel's recent award of 4 star status.

Pre-Wedding visits

Focal Pix Photography were kept busy with pre-wedding visits today. This morning we met up with Richard and Hannah at Heckfield Church and Heckfield House ... the church is within stepping distance of the Hotel, and the grounds overlook the rolling Hampshire countryside.

This afternoon, we met up with Jenny and James at Bitterne Church, where we met the vicar ahead of their wedding rehearsal. They are then celebrating at Careys Manor in the New Forest, and everything is happening next week - hooray!

Cat and Mike's wedding day...

Yesterday, we were invited to capture Cat and Mike's wedding at the delightful church in Colbury, the ceremony was wonderful.

After some lovely photographs using the lych gate and pretty porchway, everyone celebrated at The Balmer Lawn, where we got some great shots of the couple using the stairs and undercover on the terrace, as it was a showery day.

Cat's Mum Anthea created an abundance of gorgeous floral displays using baby pink hydrangea and lillies as well as a stunning bouquet!

Focal Pix Photography are really looking forward to Sharon and Stuarts' wedding in August 2010 at Hillier Gardens, nr Romsey. This is another new venue for us...a beautiful Victorian mansion set in gorgeous gardens for an intimate wedding day. Lovely!

Lisa and John's wedding at Balmer Lawn

Yesterday Focal Pix Photography were invited to photograph Lisa and John's wedding day at The Balmer Lawn Hotel.

The summer sunshine had everyone outside drinking champagne, and dancing to the mellow tones of the Andy Dickens jazz band, whilst some guests had a dip in the pool.

The wedding breakfast was held in the hotel's gorgeous Beresford Restaurant, and the dancing was in the main lounge as Lisa and John had taken over the hotel for the day - what a great idea!

Focal Pix Photography had a great day capturing Nicola and Clive's wedding today...The ceremony took place at the pretty little church of St Andrews in Meonstoke, and the celebrations were at Elmers Court in Lymington a fab hotel which overlooks the Isle of Wight.

Once again the weather was perfect, and we were able to get some really fun and romantic shots...later everyone danced the night away to The Groove Band a six piece soul band.
