Ken Dunphy Landscape Award

The Ken Dunphy Landscape Award was established in memory of Ken Dunphy by the membership of the Focus Camera Club. The award pays tribute to Ken's dedication to photography and family.

Details:

Each member can submit up to 3 images depicting "Landscapes". Landscape photography is the depiction of mountains, valleys, trees, rivers and forests. Traditionally, landscape art depicts the surface of the earth.
Each image may be submitted in full resolution
The images will be judged by two of our esteemed senior members

Just a reminder to everyone who is considering entering your images in the Peoples Choice Photo Exhibit in Dorchester this year, The dates for the event are July 22, 23 and 24th.

You can Bring your pictures in from Thursday afternoon until Friday at noon. You can enter a maximum of four images in total and a maximum of two images in any one category. The categories are People, Animals, Plants and Landscapes.

There are more prizes than usual this year as it it the 15th anniversary of the event. It also coincides with the Dorchester Sandpiper Festival so there's lots to do.

Submitted images do not need to be framed but can be if you like.

You must fill out an entry form and place it on the back of each image you submit.

May 29, 2016 – Apple Blossoms, Macro

Meet at Tim Horton’s Chaplain Mall parking lot at 9:00 for Carpooling. They are open this Sunday 10-5 celebrating Apple Blosson Day with; hay rides for kids, tai chi, chaga tea sampling/making and we are able to go on wagon ride at no cost. This event is Free, Free, Free photography fun!
