This might serve as some sort of history of me. That I even exist….

The little kid who would dial into BBC networks hacked into my houses phone lines which my mom never knew. Sitting with a Tandy 1000, IBM 2086, damn a TRS-80 from 1983. Learning to code packman in coding class… I built my first computer from scratch when I was 17, before that I was just adding parts to other computers or doing upgrades.

I ended up in some obscure places back then. The web was just becoming what it was. Communication was being re-born.

Who envisioned where we would be today? iPhone, iPads, I , I , I…… The world has changed from engagement to derangement. People walking by without even noticing your glance.
Where did we go? Completely absent from our own reality. Living virtually not virtuously.

Where will we be in 10 years? People will actually have flying vehicles. There will be e-charging stations located throughout cities for more than just cars.

Is the web copying us?

The web or should I say the coding that controls it will become intelligent enough to make decisions like a human and utilize minute pieces of personal data to emulate real thought processes. We are creating our own mini-me on the web. Our search and user behaviors being tracked, data collected and stored. Layer building on layer, much like our friend Mr. Foil.

We live in a world of Data Breaches

Anything worth hacking will be hacked…. Repeat that – Anything worth hacking will be hacked. User data is like the Gold of the Internet.

Anyone remember when Sony was hacked for 72 million user accounts? I sure do. Sony didn’t have a clue their entire login server was compromised. The hackers stuck their server in between user devices and Sony login servers.

Back doors being built into software? Probably.

Perhaps secured blockchain is the only way to go. Find real use value in crypto. Build secured everything…

I don’t get emails from friends anymore.

I get SPAM mail from every source on the planet. So much for the SPAM acts. I think it’s gotten so out of control they have no idea what to do. Huge fines to track down some kid sending mass emails from a VPS in another country. That’s great…. Read that last statement “from a VPS in another country”, hmmm.

I have supported all the good things on the Web. How do we even manage this digital life? Our heads are in the cloud and our eyes on the ground. People pray to a piece of Glass, a memory of what happened already. We are living in a “what just happened” not a “what is happening” world.

We were amazed at the Terminator on TV but don’t even realize we are becoming an AI driven planet. Robots capable of communicating with each other, making decisions, and returning rational thought actually already exists. This isn’t an idea this is becoming more and more of a reality.

I hope to catch up more with anyone that still reads this blog. It’s been a while I know. Reach out and leave a comment if you have any thoughts.

What is TSN Advertising?

Tell us about the TSN trucks. Are they going places or driving solely for advertising? Is this a sustainable business?

The trucks are most commonly used as 3rd party logistics providers for major retailers and restaurants. So they’ll deliver products to the very stores our clients’ customers shop and eat. Who is your ideal advertiser?

Our ideal advertiser is a partner that has the need for market wide coverage on a big scale. Our clients not only serve customers from an entire city, but they also have a need to brand themselves on a large platform. Now as you might imagine just about everyone with a business would ideally get market wide coverage and big platform advertising, the problem always comes down to price. This is where TSN has excelled. We’ve introduced a genuinely large scale advertising platform at a price our clients need to do the ol’ state farm double check on. We’re that well priced. Our closest competitor averages half the trucks for the same budget in our typical campaign.

How did you come up with the concept for the company? What is your career background?

My background is dominated by the entrepreneurial upbringing that my father bestowed on all of his children. My siblings and I always joke that our father is an entrepreneur that also performs eye surgery. So we’ve always been drawn towards the challenges of creating something from nothing. My brothers currently run the largest holiday lighting company in the southland and after years of working with them, I went off on my own to start something with the Gonen family.

The idea of TSN was born out of a very general concept from the renowned LA incubator, Curious Minds and the Gonen family, whereby they wanted a business in the advertising space. The family is a collective serial entrepreneur with a stake in nearly a dozen companies with total valuations in the $ 100s of millions. We approached the idea very organically with an open mind about how the company would actually advertise. The only two things we really didn’t want to sacrifice was the size of the eventual ads and the need for it to remain cost-effective. From that, I ran into obstacle after obstacle from over saturation by billion dollar companies to local regulations that literally eliminated options. It wasn’t until a road trip up to Napa Valley that the idea of using any number of the white trucks that I continually passed that the actual company had its first opportunity to become something.

Next I worked on the logistics of getting the trucks wrapped and at an acceptable price for our first pilot; the rest is history. A long and storied history, but history nonetheless. We’ve been adding clients and markets every month or so since with the best in class wraps and unbeatable prices.

What have your biggest challenges been? What were the biggest triumphs?

The biggest challenge honestly was getting off the ground. The level of sacrifice and the level of trust required to start a big platform company is a bit daunting. There was quite a long time there when we were moving ahead with tremendous costs and commitments to a platform that we only believed in, not one that we knew had satisfactory answers to the very tough questions the marketplace asks of successful companies. We knew others were doing it on some level but what we wanted required a real change in the industry. We would have abandoned this idea instantly if we didn’t think it had the potential to fundamentally shake up the multi-billion dollar outdoor advertising world. So proving we could just be another truck ad company was not the objective. The objective was and remains, to become a disruptive game changer that partners with the world’s biggest brands in large scale campaigns across the country. And yes, given our latest win is Canada’s massively successful coffee shop, Tim Horton’s we’re going international with this bad boy.

Noticing a growing market for mobile MP3 players, Apple released the original iPod in late 2001, and it was quickly destined to be a huge success. It was exactly what people wanted.. It had a simple interface, it had a large storage capacity, and it was extremely attractive and recognizable. It was only compatible with the Apple Macintosh though, which extremely limited their sales possibilities.

The iPod did end up driving up Apple Macintosh sales though, since a small percentage of people actually migrated over to the Macintosh computer just so they could use an Ipod. It wasn’t enough to drive sales of the iPod up though, Apple needed a bigger market, they needed the Windows market, which was (and still is) much larger than the Macintosh market.

In 2003 Apple released a new iPod that came with iTunes, which was compatible with both Macintosh and Windows systems. This was when the real explosion of sales occurred, since so many more people could use them with the Windows platform.

With many people deciding to enter the smartphone market everyday, there comes the issue of whether to buy an Android phone or Apple’s iPhone. With the expansion of iPhones to all the major cell phone providers, this decision can become more confusing. in the days that iPhone was strictly an AT&T phone, there was a simple choice between whether or not an AT&T plan was a viable option. Now, in this new landscape, you will be faced with an array of phones to thoroughly confuse you. Thankfully, there are people who have used and tested many devices and are willing to offer their opinions to you.

The first point to consider is that Android is purely an operating system and not a phone manufacturer. this can lead to some confusion when trying to come to a decision about which phone to choose. many comparisons around the internet put iPhones up against far less comparable devices that run Android and then claim that iPhones are the supreme leader. the fact of the matter is that there are a variety of phones running Android and they are not created equally. the best way to make an appropriate comparison is look at Android phones that are in the same price range as the iPhone in question. The highest-end Android devices compare very well to the newest iPhone model in many aspects and continue to outshine Apple’s product in other areas. iPhones have some of the best 8MP cameras on the market. But, many Android phones come with 8MP cameras as well and take comparable photos. while many phones may not be as slim and light as the iPhone, there are certainly options that come quite close to matching the design specifications of the Apple smartphone.

Android outshines Apple in the realm of customization, which can be a big deal for many savvy smartphone users. There is something about having a device that does not look and feel exactly like all of the similar phones on the market. every single iPhone will look and feel exactly the same, while delivering the same user experience. There are good and bad things to be said about this very homogenized approach to user interaction. for the novice smartphone user, there can be an allure to the simplicity that goes into using an iPhone. But, for a slightly more technically savvy individual, the Android phone can feel a lot more personalized.

iPhone’s new Retina Display is one of the most beautiful screens available on the market on any device. There is realistically no comparison of any Android device to the pixels that are jammed into Apple’s screen. while an entry-level smartphone user will likely never notice this, it can be easily distinguished when the devices are operating side by side. But, many Android devices offer considerably larger screens, which can be preferable when consuming media.

The bottom line is that the choice between the two major operating systems is a personal one and can be a little bit confusing. the advice many people give is that entry-level smartphone adopters should probably choose and iPhone. while people who are experienced in technology and smartphones should probably give Google’s operating system a run. No matter which one you choose, getting a smartphone is becoming more necessary in this society.

The iPhone 5 is on track for a September launch, according to one ‘insider’, despite whispers of component shortages.

A ‘trusted industry insider’ said that Apple’s fabled iPhone 5 — which will actually be the sixth iPhone from the iPad-spawning company — is on track to debut next month, Apple Insider reports.

The source mentions, however, that there could be some hiccups in the ol’ supply chain, and availability of parts like the touch panels made by Sharp and LG may be on the low side.

Recent murmurs have pointed to Cook and company’s upcoming toy being unveiled at an event on 12 September, and going on sale soon afterwards. the mythical miniature iPad mini is even on the launch event bill, according to one report.

The site’s source handily hints that recently leaked snaps showing the new iPhone in fully-assembled form are “very likely authentic”. the pictures, which match other leaks that have sprung up over the last few months, point to a taller smart phone with a 4-inch display, as well as a sultry stripe across the much-desired gadget’s posterior.

That 4-inch display supposedly has a 16:9 aspect ratio, meaning there are no annoying black bars when you swivel the iPhone around to watch movies and the like. Going by those leaked snaps, the basic look doesn’t seem to have changed much though — something that could irk fans in the market for a fresh design.

Meanwhile, TechCrunch claims to have been sent a screenshot showing a prototype iPhone 5 appearing on a ‘reliable’ source’s server logs. the model is pegged as ‘iPhone5,2’, though whether or not it actually came from the next-generation blower is nigh-on impossible to verify.
