For Bible believing Christians, Jesus is coming back for a Church without wrinkles or spots and we are currently witnessing what the Word of God says will happen before Jesus returns for his bride. One that is ravaging the USA and all nations of the earth is covid19virus and almost all nations are presently in lockdowns. I wonder ‘what would have happened to any prophet that predicted the coming of covid19 virus pandemic and its global effect ’. I can only imagine that nobody will believe the person and maybe he or she would have been locked up somewhere for the prediction. In any case, God the Almighty that knows all things knew of this and I thank Him for His mercies and also for answering our prayers and helping us endow governments, scientists, health personnel’s with wisdom, knowledge and understanding an what to do to eradicate the covid19pandemic across the USA and all nations of the earth.

Recently, I was asking the Lord what we need to repent from as a Church in the USA , though some people in the USA still think the church is the building, however from the Word of God; we know we{Christians} are the temple of God. God then He gave me the list of things which ideally should not be rampant in church but is now the order of the day in our churches. The Lord also reminded me of what he told me 8 years ago , ‘The church that should be Godly has become worldly’ and I spoke about this on my You Tube Videos ‘tagged ;‘The Lord is tired with Church series’ ;

I therefore admonish all ministers/church folks across the USA to pray prayers of repentance using the lists below and in accordance with 2 Chronicles 7; 14 so our nation can be totally healed and restored. The list encompasses the pride of life, lust of the eye and lust of the flesh that crept into the church {the people} and the pulpit {the ministers}.

Here is the list of things to repent from as a Church and as ministers of the Gospel;

Double standards,Hypocrisy,Avarice,Secret sins,Lasciviouness,Polyandry, Polygamy, Bigamy, rape, murder,incest,abduction, gun violence/crimes,adultery,fornication,ungodliness, selfishness, family rivalry, unhealthy competition, bestiality, homosexuality, same sex marriages, swinging/swapping of sexual partners , lesbianism,gay,greed, covetousness, domestic crimes, violence crimes, money laundering crimes, ritualist,idolatry, love of money , pedophiles,unfaithfulness, hatred, racism, rebellion, disobedience,prayerlessness,mockery of holy things, lack of love for God, satanic worship , adoption of satanic lifestyles .and the list continues.

Thank you for your showers of wisdom in handling the #covid19pandemic and the relief packages you have released for the people of the nations of the earth. God bless you all.

The Lord has heard all the prayers and cries of people of all faiths across the nations of the earth concerning ending the siege of #covid19virus .2 Chronicles 7:14.

Please note the following important Words of God;

1. Psalms 115: 16.God is Heaven and He’s ruling in Heaven but He has given us {the children of men} the earth so we can have it the way we want it.

2. Genesis 1:26 God has given us {mankind} the dominion over all His creations and everything He created.

3. Psalms2:8 God has given us the nations as our inheritance and the ends of the earth as our possessions.

4. Romans 16: 1 God is the one that put you all in authority over your people and we [the people} have to obey you in accordance to God’s Words.

5. Proverbs 18: 21 Death and life are in the power of the tongue, so we will usually have whatever we say. Therefore for this reason, we are not supposed to say what we don’t want to see.

6. There is great power in unity, so it is much better to stand together in unity in these challenging times .The Tower of Babel in Genesis 11:1-9 was built by the people of the earth by their imagination and unity at that time.

In essence;

1 .Unity is a powerful force you can all utilize in these trying times of COVIDPandemic.

2.Yours words to the people you are governing are powerful and whatever you say to your people ,’either life or death’ is what will be happening in your various countries, states, cities and localities.

3. I admonish in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ , as your people observe the lockdowns, please put out positive words and words of encouragements that will motivate them to have faith rather fearful words. Fear motivated speeches/talks get people to their early graves because fear is a spirit , it has torment and it’s one of the tool the devil uses to kill people.COVID19Virus has already been cursed and swallowed in the grave so it has no more power over the nations of the earth .

Thanks for receiving these words of wisdom and I decree total peace, restoration of world economies, restoration of lives and health of mankind and celebration of good times again all across the nations of the earth this Easter season in Jesus name. Amen,

Father in the name of Jesus, I pray for wisdom and unity for the Leaders, Kings, Queens, Prime Ministers and Governing councils of all the nations of the earth and the World health organization’s leaders according to your word in I Timothy 2;1-3. I also pray that you, our loving father will endow all of them with knowledge and understanding as they pass legislations , rules and regulations to combat the spread of #COVID19pandemic that all their decisions will not be fear motivated, because fear is a spirit and has torment but they will put their trust and faith in the awesomeness of God, who is already answering the prayers of His saints across the nations of the earth .I decree that all the people of the nations of the earth are hereby released from the fear and torment of fear in the name of Jesus, and I also pray for the news agencies all across the nations of the earth that they shall all emit positivity’s in the midst of this scourge of covid19virus reporting so the inhabitants of the earth can be released from the spirit of fear/the fear of death that have been killing people all across the nations of the earth .I Pray for your protection from COVID19 for all the health care givers, Doctors, Nurses taking care of people, those working in grocery stores , electricity, water and all other basic needs workers and public health organizations, officers working for the safety and livelihood of people all across the nations of the earth, and I also thank u Lord for helping us through these challenging times and for hearing and answering our prayers today as usual because ,You don’t store up prayers, You hear and You answer .Thank you Daddy for your Mighty Hand that has given us victories over #COVID19pandemic all across the nations of the earth in Jesus name, I have prayed and I have given you thanks .Amen,

YOUR DECISIONS DECIDE YOUR DESTINY AND YOUR WEALTH

Let’s take a look at the definitions by a dictionary of the key words of the heading of this post;

Freedictionary.com defines ‘Decision ‘in the following ways;

Decision (dĭ-sĭzh′ən) Noun

A conclusion or judgment reached after consideration.2. The act of reaching a conclusion or of passing of judgment on an issue under consideration.3. Firmness of character or action; determination. 4. Act of making up one’s mind

Destiny;

Pronounced as (ˈdɛstɪnɪ)

Noun, plural -nies

1. The future destined for a person or thing; fate; fortune; lot

2. The predetermined or inevitable course of events

3. (Philosophy) the ultimate power or agency that predetermines the course of events.

And Wealth is defined as;

Wealth

Pronounced as (wɛlθ)

Noun;

1. A great quantity or store of money, property, or other riches.

2. Plentiful amount; abundance: a wealth of imagery.

3. Any or all things with monetary or exchange value.

4. Rich or valuable contents or produce: the wealth of the soil.

5. The state of being rich; prosperity; affluence.

6. Obs. happiness.

Decision is a very powerful thing and it actually determines our wealth and destination in life. I remember in 1999, I made a decision to leave my 6 figures job back then in Nigeria to pursue a career in Accountancy in London, United Kingdom .That single decision changed the course of my whole life completely. This is what happens when we make a decision and our decision making always involve choices. Sometimes it is the smallest decision that changes our lives forever.

The nuggets below are some of how our decisions can determine our destinies and ultimately decide our wealth.

1. Your decision to trust your inner voice to step out in faith and do those things that you want to do rather than disobeying and procrastinating in fear.

2. Your decision to discover your calling, your passion and begin to operate in them, rather than trying to be somebody else.

3 .Your decision to give with a cheerful heart abundantly rather than grumbling and or giving grudgingly.

4. Your decision to recognize that timing is attached to every great accomplishment and waiting patiently for your breakthroughs rather than looking for easy way out by making compromises.

5. Your decision to be diligent at work rather than being slothful.

6. Your decision to walk in love with people, cultivate and nurture golden relationships with those you come in contact with in your business, life and careers.

7. Your decision to trust those and be open to communicate and deal with people that don’t look like you or talk like you in your career and business.

8. Your decision to trust in your decision (good &bad) and your decision to be ready to bounce back when you make a wrong choice in your decision making. Often times, in order to make a good choice we need to have experience and to have experience , you will sometimes make mistakes by making wrong choices. Goals are powerful and they are necessary in order to move from one level to another, Accomplish Greatness and Fulfill Purpose.

1. Goals are the means by which we achieve our Endeavors, Accomplishment and Success.

2. Have a Well-Defined Picture in Your Mind of where you desire to be in future. Your Mind is Your Power tool for Visualizations of what you want your future to be like.Protect your mind from wandering around negative thoughts.

7. Think about, meditate upon what is true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report at all times.

8. Discuss your goals with The Holy Spirit. He loves conversation/ attention and He will give guide you on how to achieve your goals. Once you engage The Holy Spirit be ready to make room for flexibilities/surprises. Discuss big dreams with Him, He can accomplish big things through us.All we need do is trust God.

9. Discern, Discover and Follow those who you are assigned to, and who are assigned to you.Your Goals require Good People in your life.

10. Your goals require Faith, your Faith requires Focus; focus on God and his Word not the circumstances going on around you. Most times where you are will always differ from where you are going and most times your circumstances may be making you to fear or doubt your abilities.

11. Classify your Goals; Write and break them into Smaller, Measurable and Achievable ones. This helps concentration and beats procrastination.

12. Step out with these steps out of your fear and make things begin to happen for your dreams.

13. Now celebrate every time you achieve any of your Written Goals from your list and have a Thankful Spirit.

Lastly, Build your Life around Your Goals since Your goals Determines Your Future.

Nuggets on Righteousness 4

The same way we had to make a choice to accept The Lord as a Savior, we have to accept God’s righteousness by faith. We should seek his righteousness and thirst for more of it so that we can be filled. As a believer we live by faith everything we will receive from God is also by faith. Our righteousness is a gift from God and once we receive the gift and that revelation we will not be bothered by the devil when we fall short or find ourselves living below our expectations of ourselves. When we fall short, all we need do is repent and get back on track in faith not stay down in pity party or withdrawing from God. We did not do anything to qualify to be righteous, our qualifier is God and once we accept him in our lives, he gives us in return a right standing with Him: ‘Righteousness’. I hope you are enjoying the new week.

The following are the concluding verses on righteousness from The Old Testament. The sin issue was judged instantly in the Old Testament but we now live in the new dispensation of Grace which we sometimes take for granted. I will be teaching on Nuggets of Righteousness from the New Testament in the continuation.

Thank God for his mercies and daily renewal of Grace when we fall short. When we faithfully do our job as witnesses for God, there is both earthly and heavenly reward for us. Everything we possess , we get from our gracious and loving God so is our righteousness. I pray you all be blessed by these nuggets.

He that wins souls is wise and he will shine like stars forever. Righteousness and meekness hides us in the day of danger and as we fear the name of the Lord we are lifted.

Ezekiel 18:20
The one who sins is the one who will die. The child will not share the guilt of the parent, nor will the parent share the guilt of the child. The righteousness of the righteous will be credited to them, and the wickedness of the wicked will be charged against them.

Daniel 12:3
Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.

Hello everyone, my next series of teachings will be on “Righteousness”.I pray that you all be blessed by the nuggets as we begin to walk in the revelation of who we are in Christ Jesus and what He has accomplished for us all once and for all.

NUGGETS ON RIGHTEOUSNESS 1

Dictionary meaning of Righteousness;

1.Characterized by uprightness or morality.

2. Morally right or justifiable.

3. Acting in an upright, moral way; virtuous.

4.Absolutely genuine or wonderful.

Hebrew Definition: The Hebrew word for righteousness is tseh'-dek, tzedek, Gesenius's Strong's Concordance:6664—righteous, integrity, equity, justice, straightness

Miriam Webster definition: acting in accord with divine or moral law : free from guilt or sin

a : morally right or justifiable ,a righteous decision

b : arising from an outraged sense of justice or morality (righteous indignation)

3 slang : genuine, excellent

Free dictionary definition: 1. Morally upright; without guilt or sin: a righteous parishioner.

2. In accordance with virtue or morality: a righteous judgment.

3. Morally justifiable: righteous anger.

Righteousness is God’s Gift of Grace to all that believes by faith.This is our right standing with God. We do not work for it, we cannot work it. God gives it to us as part of our gift of grace when he accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior. His Blood paid the full price for our sins and the finished works of Calvary is our basis for righteousness. The same way we receive Christ by faith, we need to receive this gift of righteousness by faith and walk in the revelation of what The Word says we are and Who the Words says we are. God rewards us for our faith, faithfulness and our righteousness in Him. His throne is established in righteousness and we are established in Him and we are righteous in Him, not in ourselves because our own righteousness is like filthy rags before Him.

Genesis 15:6
Abram believed the LORD, and he credited it to him as righteousness.

Deuteronomy 6:25
And if we are careful to obey all this law before the LORD our God, as he has commanded us, that will be our righteousness.”

1 Samuel 26:23
The LORD rewards everyone for their righteousness and faithfulness. The LORD delivered you into my hands today, but I would not lay a hand on the LORD’s anointed

2 Samuel 22:21
“The LORD has dealt with me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has rewarded me.

Psalm 50:6

The Conclusion;

The Works and the Blessings of the Anointing: We have to recognize that Jesus; the Anointed One and his person in us in the form of The Holy Spirit is the Anointing that was given to us in form of blessings and empowerment so we can do the following;

The master key for accomplishment and fulfillment

• To have power to be effective witnesses

• To enable us to share the Good News about Jesus Christ

• To proclaim freedom for the prisoners

• To bring recovery of sight for the blind

• To release the oppressed

• To proclaim the Lord’s favor and grace

• To be benefactors, doing good to needy people

• To break the devil’s yoke in the lives of bound-up people

• To teach us and help we know God’s truth versus error.

God has anointed us to do all of the above as well as we are ambassadors of Christ, enrolled soldiers for Christ. We are prepared, focused and ready to start doing the work of the evangelist as we are commanded in the great commission. We are anointed for service, the harvest is ripe and the laborers are few. Join in and let’s make the great commission our priority in these last days. Mark 16:15-18 And He said to them, “Go into the entire world and preach the gospel to every creature. ¹⁶He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. ¹⁷And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues;¹⁸theywill take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

Nuggets on the Anointing of God 8: Activating the anointing

I love this month of giving and receiving ‘December’ because everyone and the corporate business is focusing on giving during this time more tna other times . Giving and loving are some of the things that activates the anointing to flow freely and abundantly though us and in and around us. Love is the greatest force that activates the anointing upon our lives.

God loves to see the anointing operate daily in our lives that is why He gave us the gifts. This is the part I love the most, what we need to do in order to activate the anointing is much easier and less things to do than what we do to hinder the anointing from flowing. Enjoy the continuation of these nuggets and a great month of December.

“Nuggets on the Anointing of God 8”: Activating the anointing

Lack of use of the anointing brings decrease and decay. Therefore the first thing to do to activate in order to activate the anointing is , you have to use what you have been given. The anointing in us is not for us but for others, so we must not be selfish in using it. Active use increases our maturity in God , in the things of God and it increases the anointing in and around us.

Walking in love is another powerful way to activate the anointing within us. Whenever we walk in love we are walking like our father and we are imitating him so we have no choice than to walk in his fullness. The devil understands and knows this and that is why he always attacks us in our love walk with one another. As we give love to others, we receive love too.

1.Walk in Love

Ephesians5:1-11Therefore be imitators of God as dear children. ²And walk in love, as Christ also has loved us and given Himself for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweet-smelling aroma.

³But fornication and all uncleanness or covetousness, let it not even be named among you, as is fitting for saints; ⁴neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor coarse jesting, which are not fitting, but rather giving of thanks.

2. Walk in Light

Walking as Children of Light is the next way to activate the anointing. Light shines and the darkness cannot comprehend it. Doing the right thing even when it hurts and when we will not be rewarded is walking in the light in the dark world we live in.

⁸For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light .⁹(for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), ¹⁰finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. ¹¹And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather expose them.

3. Living a life of obedience to the Word of God and The Holy Spirit promptings within us increases and activates the anointing in around us .The devil knows this and that is why he always love to attack us with unbelief in our minds, attacks us in our love walk and light walk with others . This is why he is the master planner behind every offence and feuds with our loved ones. This is one of his weapons that he uses against us so it is in our interest to protect our anointing and keep walking in love and light no matter what people do to us. We need to be totally dedicated to God and the things of God, seek peace, unity with others and commit to walking in love and forgiveness. This beats the devil hands down big time.

Walking in Love and walking in Light is walking like our Father, God who is love and Light therefore Love and light activates the anointing of God in us.

Enjoy the next set of things that hinders the flow of the anointing from flowing in and around us at it should.

Phil 2:12-13Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling, ¹³for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose.

God wants to work through us but we have to do our own part because he has given us the free will to make choices.

The anointing flows in an atmosphere of praise and worship, lack of craving and continuing in the intimacy with God and fellowship with the Holy Spirit is the last hindrance that affects the flow of the anointing in and around us.

Ps 73; 25-26Whom have I in heaven but you?
    And earth has nothing I desire besides you.
²⁶My flesh and my heart may fail,
    but God is the strength of my heart
    and my portion forever.

Ps 61:1-2 hear my cry, O God;
listen to my prayer.

²From the ends of the earth I call to you,
I call as my heart grows faint;
lead me to the rock that is higher than I.

Ps 63;1You, God, are my God,
    earnestly I seek you;
I thirst for you,
    my whole being longs for you,
in a dry and parched land
    where there is no water.

John7;37-38 On the last and greatest day of the festival, Jesus stood and said in a loud voice, “Let anyone who is thirsty come to me and drink. ³⁸Whoever believes in me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them.”³⁹by this he meant the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were later to receive. Up to that time the Spirit had not been given, since Jesus had not yet been glorified.

Whenever we spend time in worship and praise, the anointing will flow freely and abundantly in and through us. When we ask for more of Him, He fills us with more of Him, let’s approach him with an empty cup and He will fill our cups. This must be part of our daily routine because the anointing loves fellowship.

2 Corinthians 13;14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit be with you all. Amen

Friday Blessings to you, I hope you all have a relaxing week end. God is

with us all no matter where we are or what may be happening around us.

Romans 8:28 All things work together for good to those that love God.

These are the next set of hindrances to the flow of the anointing;

5. Not speaking and walking in the Truth in God’s Word.

Ephesians 4:14-27Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming. ¹⁵Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, Christ. ¹⁶From him the whole body, joined and held together by every supporting ligament, grows and builds itself up in love, as each part does its work.¹⁷so I tell you this, and insist on it in the Lord, that you must no longer live as the Gentiles do, in the futility of their thinking. ¹⁸They are darkened in their understanding and separated from the life of God because of the ignorance that is in them due to the hardening of their hearts. ¹⁹Having lost all sensitivity, they have given themselves over to sensuality so as to indulge in every kind of impurity, and they are full of greed²⁰That, however, is not the way of life you learned ²¹when you heard about Christ and were taught in him in accordance with the truth that is in Jesus. ²²You were taught, with regard to your former way of life, to put off your old self, which is being corrupted by its deceitful desires; ²³to be made new in the attitude of your minds; ²⁴and to put on the new self, created to be like God in true righteousness and holiness.

²⁵Therefore each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully to your neighbor, for we are all members of one body.²⁶“In your anger do not sin”^. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, ²⁷and do not give the devil a foothold.

6. Focusing on the law or the letters rather than the Grace and The Spirit of God.

We need to depend on God’s Grace and His Spirit rather than depending on our flesh and inadequacies. God’s strength is made perfect when we are weak.

2 Cor; 4-6 such confidence we have through Christ before God. ⁵Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. ⁶He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant—not of the letter but of the Spirit; for the letter kills, but the Spirit gives life.

7. Lack of prayers and fasting, lack of studying the word and lack of using our spiritual weapons and amours.

In the physical armies know when they need to refuel and they make sure that they are properly armed same goes for us as Christians, once we give our lives to Christ we are automatically drafted into God’s army. God knows we need to be armed so he has equipped us with all we need but we need to use them or else we will become weak and easy targets for the enemy. The devil is always looking for whom to devour so we need to be vigilant and prayerful.

Ephesians 6:10-18Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. ¹¹Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil’s schemes. ¹²For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms. ¹³Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand. ¹⁴Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place, ¹⁵and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace. ¹⁶In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. ¹⁷Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

¹⁸And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for the entire Lord’s people.

The next two teachings will be some more hindrances to the operations of The Anointing in and around us , in our homes and families, after which , i will teach on how to activate the anointing within us.Stay in touch and enjoy the nuggets.

More Hindrances

1.Wives not submitting to their own husbands and husbands not loving their own wives as they ought to by dwelling with them with honor and understanding. Operating in a house where there is lack of order. The anointing flows better where the family respects and operates in divine order.

I Peter 3:5-7

Submission to Husbands Wives, likewise, be submissive to your own husbands, that even if some do not obey the word, they, without a word, may be won by the conduct of their wives, when they observe your chaste conduct accompanied by fear. Do not let your adornment be merely outward—arranging the hair, wearing gold, or putting on fine apparel rather let it be the hidden person of the heart, with the incorruptible beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very precious in the sight of God.For in this manner, in former times, the holy women who trusted in God also adorned themselves, being submissive to their own husbands.

A Word to Husbands

Husbands, likewise, dwell with them with understanding, giving honor to the wife, as to the weaker vessel, and as being heirs together of the grace of life, that your prayers may not be hindered.

Called to BlessingFinally, all of you be of one mind, having compassion for one another; love as brothers, be tenderhearted, be courteous;not returning evil for evil or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing.

Eph 5:22-29 Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is head of the wife, as also Christ is head of the church; and He is the Savior of the body.Therefore, just as the church is subject to Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in everything.

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her,that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word,that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.So husbands ought to love their own wives as their own bodies; he who loves his wife loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church.

Col 3;18-Wives, submit to your own husbands, as is fitting in the Lord.Husbands, love your wives and do not be bitter toward them.

2. Not recognizing that we have the anointing in us and we are anointed.

1 John 2:27; But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

3. Seeking to be men pleasers instead of God pleasers.

Col 3;22-25 Bond servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God. And whatever you do, do it heartily, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ.But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality.

Acts 5:29 But Peter and the other apostles answered and said: “We ought to obey God rather than men.

Nuggets on the Anointing of God 4: Hindrances to the Flow of the Anointing.

1.It is dangerous to tamper with the anointing of God or with the person of the Holy Spirit. A couple in the early church lied to the Holy Spirit and it cost them their lives. Thank God for the mercies of God upon our lives these days, with so much lies and distrust that goes on in Church we don’t experience such instant and devastating judgments for telling lies about our tithes and offerings and other sins committed in the Church today. Thank God for that.

Acts 51-11 But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession. ²And he kept back part of the proceeds, his wife also being aware of it, and brought a certain part and laid it at the apostles’ feet. ³But Peter said, “Ananias, why has Satan filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and keep back part of the price of the land for yourself? ⁴While it remained, was it not your own? And after it was sold, was it not in your own control? Why have you conceived this thing in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God.

⁵Then Ananias, hearing these words, fell down and breathed his last. So great fear came upon all those who heard these things. ⁶And the young men arose and wrapped him up, carried him out, and buried him.

⁷Now it was about three hours later when his wife came in, not knowing what had happened. ⁸And Peter answered her, “Tell me whether you sold the land for so much?”

She said, “Yes, for so much.”

⁹Then Peter said to her, “How is it that you have agreed together to test the Spirit of the Lord? Look, the feet of those who have buried your husband are at the door, and they will carry you out.” ¹⁰Then immediately she fell down at his feet and breathed her last. And the young men came in and found her dead, and carrying her out, buried her by her husband. ¹¹So great fear came upon all the church and upon all who heard these things.

May God help us all to walk in honesty , use and not abuse the anointing and stand in awe of this precious Gift of The Anointing and in awe of our Most High God in all our endeavors in Jesus name.Amen

2.Living a life of walking in the flesh rather than walking in the Spirit.

Ephesians 4:25-32

Do Not Grieve the Spirit

²⁵Therefore, putting away lying, “Let each one of you speak truth with his neighbor,” for we are members of one another. ²⁶“Be angry, and do not sin”: do not let the sun go down on your wrath,²⁷nor give place to the devil. ²⁸Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he may have something to give him who has need. ²⁹Let no corrupt word proceed out of your mouth, but what is good for necessary edification, that it may impart grace to the hearers. ³⁰And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption. ³¹Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. ³²And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.

3. Walking in worry, fear, anxiety, forgiveness, bitterness and anger.

All the above are negative vibes that depletes the anointing of God from flowing in and through us. They block us from operating in the fullness of what Christ had accomplished for us on the cross at Calvary. Anointing thrives and flows to his maximum in an atmosphere of walking in the spirit and walking in love.

Nuggets on the Anointing of God 3: The Anointing in the New Testament :( The Person of the Holy Spirit)

For New Testament Christians, we have the ability to experience the three levels of The Anointing;

First level is when we get the dwelling of the Holy Spirit after getting saved, when we accept Jesus into our lives as Lord and savior. We receive the Father, Son and His Holy Spirit.

John 4:1-14: This is the well level at the time of new birth in Christ.

Second level: This is the river level, when we get baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues.

John 7:37-39 on the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to me and drink. 38 He who believes in me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will Flow Rivers of living water.” 39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.

Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.

Acts 4:8Then Peter, filled with the Holy Spirit, said to them, “Rulers of the people and elders of Israel:

The first and second level of The Anointing is subject to changes with us and to our own individual pursuit of God , His Words and our relationship with the Holy Spirit. It also depends on with whom and what we are associating with, if we lean more with walking with ungodly people , we cannot increase in these two levels ,lastly if one is selfish at these levels with the anointing without blessing others with it, it will not increase, the anointing is for service to humanity and not for showmanship or selfish people.

Third level: This is the rain level. This is the overflow level and rain is equivalent to the anointing, this is the fullness of the river and the well.

Zechariah 10:1 Ask the Lord for rain
In the time of the latter rain.
The Lord will make flashing clouds;
He will give them showers of rain,
Grass in the field for everyone.

Rain Is the release of God’s power that makes it possible to do outstanding performances.

We can ask God for more rain of his anointing when we are not selfish with the one he gave us initially he always increases our levels.

Matthew 26:6[The Anointing at Bethany] And when Jesus was in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper,

Mark 14:3[The Anointing at Bethany] And being in Bethany at the house of Simon the leper, as He sat at the table, a woman came having an alabaster flask of very costly oil of spikenard. Then she broke the flask and poured it on His head.

Luke 4;18;The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
for he has anointed me to bring Good News to the poor.

Acts 10:38; and you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

John 12:1[The Anointing at Bethany] Then, six days before the Passover, Jesus came to Bethany, where Lazarus was who had been dead, whom He had raised from the dead.

Acts 10:38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.

James 5:14Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord.

2 Corinthians 1:21-22 Now He who establishes us with you in Christ and has anointed us is God, 22 who also has sealed us and given us the Spirit in our hearts as a guarantee.

Nuggets on the Anointing of God 2: The Anointing in the Old Testament

Mid-week Blessings , this is the continuation on the series ‘Nuggets on Anointing of God’ enjoy with me on what the Anointing was like in the Old Testament and what it was used for.

Exodus 29:7

And you shall take the anointing oil, pour it on his head, and anoint him

Exodus 30:25

And you shall make from this holy anointing oil, an ointment compounded according to heart of the perfumer. It shall be holy anointing oil

Exodus 30:31“And you shall speak to the children of Israel, saying: ‘This shall be holy anointing oil to me throughout your generations.

Exodus 31:11and the anointing oil and sweet incense for the holy place. According to all that I have commanded you they shall do.”

Exodus 35:8Oil for the light, and spices for the anointing oil and for the sweet incense

Exodus 40:9“And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle and all that is in it; and you shall hallow it and all its utensils, and it shall be holy.

Exodus 40:15you shall anoint them, as you anointed their father that they may minister to me as priests; for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.”

Leviticus 8:10Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.

Leviticus 8:12 and he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him.

Leviticus 8:30Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.

Leviticus 10:7you shall not go out from the door of the tabernacle of meeting, lest you die, for the anointing oil of the Lord is upon you.” And they did according to the word of Moses.

Leviticus 21:10‘He who is the high priest among his brethren, on whose head the anointing oil was poured and who is consecrated to wear the garments, shall not uncover his head nor tear his clothes;

Leviticus 21:12nor shall he go out of the sanctuary, nor profane the sanctuary of his God; for the consecration of the anointing oil of his God is upon him: I am the Lord.

Numbers 4:16“The appointed duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest is the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the daily grain offering, the anointing oil, the oversight of all the tabernacle, of all that is in it, with the sanctuary and its furnishings.

Nuggets on the Anointing of God 1

I am so excited that finally God is releasing these nuggets on the “Anointing of God”. May God bless and empower you all as you read these nuggets as I was while preparing them. The following are dictionary definitions of the Word; “Anointing”;

1. To smear on, pour on or rub with oil as done in a religious ceremony.

2. To consecrate for religious services and offices.

3. for sanctification

4. To choose by or and as if by divine intervention

In the Holy Bible , people will anointed with oil both in the new testament and in the old testament for the following reasons; For consecration for services, to signify God’s blessings upon someone’s life, for protection, for empowerment ,to ordain for God’s calling upon one’s life, for special purposes, projects and offices.

It is important to note here that the oil or the water that is used are just a symbol , God is the only one capable of anointing someone and the blessings are resting upon the recipient from God and not from the symbol.

The anointing for us in the New Testament is more than symbol because He is the person of the Holy Spirit in us, once we become saved and baptized in the Holy Spirit. Also it is empowerment and the endowment we receive from God to enable us carry out our God given goals and God given dreams and to fulfill God’s calling, commission and purposes for our lives .Without the power of the anointing of God in our lives, we are empty and powerless and this is why some people that are not saved will go through many extreme and most times devilish means for attaining power so as to do great works. The Sons of Sceva tried to cast out like anointed Apostle Paul did, they were without the anointing and were tormented by the evil spirit they were trying to cast out because they were not anointed by God to do what they were trying to do and also spirits recognize each other in the realm of the spirit.

Acts 19:11 God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles. ¹²When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled.

¹³A group of Jews was traveling from town to town casting out evil spirits. They tried to use the name of the Lord Jesus in their incantation, saying, “I command you in the name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches, to come out!” ¹⁴Seven sons of Sceva, a leading priest, were doing this. ¹⁵But one time when they tried it, the evil spirit replied, “I know Jesus, and I know Paul, but who are you?” ¹⁶Then the man with the evil spirit leaped on them, overpowered them, and attacked them with such violence that they fled from the house, naked and battered.

Thank God for us as believers are already blessed by God to do exploit by the reason of the anointing He has given unto us.

Acts 1; 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

1 John 2:20 But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.

Daniel 11:32Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.

Isaiah 10 :27 it shall come to pass in that day that his burden will be taken away from your shoulder, and his yoke from your neck, and the yoke will be destroyed because of the anointing oil.

John 14:26 But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

John 14:16 And I will pray the Father and He will give you another Helper that He may abide with you forever

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.

2 Corinthians 4:7 We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.
