One of the favorite place for lunch out is this place. Most of the field personnel knows this place to its authentic cuisine. The original "linarang sa Pasil" to a wide variety of cooked seafood and one of the favorite meal of all time is the "tagotongan". Some would say "tagongtongan", botete in a larger scale shall I say. Aside from this favorite dish they also serve some "banogon" a stingray that is and some other stuff. These are just of my favorites. A different kind of cooking that would certainly satisfy yor taste.....hmmmmmm....

A place for eating to be missed about when your not around Cebu.

Others would also try the ones taken below on the other side of the block. But these are just seasonal for they are prohibitted by law. Just look at the last 3 pictures below and you know what I'm taking about. Lami pud ni siya kaayu....

Once in a while we travel the north of Cebu for site visits. Visits related to work either on a preventive or a corrective measures. Most of the travellers know this place for thier special kind of cooking the native chicken at Catmon, Cebu.

Once tasted, always wanted. Sigurado gyud ko na lamian ug barato pa gyud...labi na ang sabaw sa manok.

Somewhere near SM City City

The Place that I am talking about is quite not soo difficult to find. If you're comming from White Gold Club going to SM, just turn right after passing White Gold Club and you can see the sign that says, "Conchings Manok Bisaya" on the left side of the road.

Lots and variety of foods are present to tackle you hungry stomach. From seafods to vegetables and meat a like and most specially their most wanted meal is the whole native lechon manok.

One of the nicest thing when you're on field work is that you'll get to places that you have never been to before. Driving around the city accomplishing what you were task to do is not that easy, specially if your stomach is knocking at your brain...."gutom na!".

If you happen to pass by near Wireless Mandaue area why not drop by and have a good lunch at San Roque Parish Food Park. It's of course a place good for eating located just a few steps away to the right side of the church. It is somewhat like canteen style food park. A nice place near to an open soccer field located at the back of the church. Good ambiance shall I say. The place is run by the church cooperative thus the food is not that expensive as you might notice.

The menu is almost complete from "go", "grow", and "glow", hehehe. Lots of varieties to choose from. Fish, vegetables, protein rich food, fried or to variety of soup, ....basta daghan... Once you been there, there's always a chance for you to get back the next time you pass by the place.

As usual, we get to meet people from telecom, electric, water and to new addition the bottlers from one of the nearest bottling plant in the area, hahahaha... and some others.

As Filipinos and Cebuanos in particular, we are always fund of looking into places best for eating. A place to eat where it's not so expensive and just for the budget. For us, who is in the line of field works we always find our selves in different places in different times.

One of the place where to have a very sumptuous meal specially during lunch time is in Talamban, Cebu City. On the road going to Tintay-Canduman before reaching the bridge. The place is usually known to the PUJ and "habal-habal" drivers as the "Bakahan sa Talambam". The variety from "paklay", "bakareta","balbacua" and the likes all beef food. People from all walks of life and from different line of work from telecom company, from electric company, from water company and the rest gather around for the very sumptuous meal. As they say, "kung dili ka panington kay walay bayad"...

Food is served hot along with rice corn or plain rice. Pwede sad ka mangayu ug ginamos with sili and lemonsito...Pagkahuman, sparkle dayun....busoga gyud...
