Swati veg hotel is situated at medipatnam quite opp to bus stop.

The hotel had been running there successfully since more than a decade

We first ordered tomato soup.It was thick with bread crumbs and it was a bit sweeter than normal tomato soups we find in other restaurants.

Next dish was veg Manchuria.I need to specially mention about it as Manchuria was well made.small size vegetarian Manchuria well cooked,soft and crispy.

next was kaju masala and tandori roti

kaju masala tasted very good with full of kaju's well fried and mixed well in gravy.

even the salad was good as they gave carrots,cucumber along with onions and lime.

The tandori roti was not only big but very soft ,easy to chew.

Few months back a new restaurant was opened in hyderabad at masab tank opp to Kun Hyundai showroom hyderabad

Having seen times of india reviews about the restaurant that their Khatti dal,panner butter masala is very good ,so i decided to taste the dishes.

They have very good ambiance with great interiors in non ac section.

we sat in the ac section and ordered Khatti dal,panner butter masala and 2 plus 2 roties

They took almost thirty mins to deliver the food which we had ordered.Before us there where customers at two tables for whom the food was already served.

(Expect a slow service at this restaurant at hyderabad )

They even did not server us onions first which almost every restaurant dhaba in hyderabad does.

we need to ask them guys atleast server onions.

Finally the food was served.

The Khatti dal was worst awful.This was the worsted dal i had ever eaten in any restaurant in hyderabad.

There was hardly any dal in it,it was full of water and oil tadka.

How on earth did they assume any one can eat it with a tandoori roti.

It costed rs 109 approx which was utter waste as we have to leave it entirely.

So we went for panner butter masala thank god it was good but quantity was very less it would hardly serve one person forget about 2 people.

Even in other dhabas where you can get half plate the half plate quantity would be more than chicha's full plate.

Even the tandoori roti was a mediocre.

We ordered for mineral water and they served biselri one liter which costed rs 20 but they charged rs 30.

The bill amounted to rs 496 which was waste of our money as it hardly filled our tummy.

I am utterly disappointed with times of India reviews, i request them to give honest reviews like i do.

I request one and all if you happen to visit this restaurant make sure you do not order khatti Dal at all.

IT is situated on the first floor, at the ground floor you get andhra meals.

For just rs 170 including taxes you can eat as much jowar roti and curries you want.

The moment you enter you will be given buttermilk,water. Then a washed banana leaf is put in front of you.YOU are servered with unlimited methi leaves,carrot,onions,cucumber,4 curries,raitha,chutney,sambhar,rasam,curd which is limited.

Hot hot jowar roties are severed with one cube of butter.

I started with buttermilk which was good,ate methi leaves and salad,as they servered hot soft jowar roties i starting eating with curries.

There was sprouts curry,mixed green leaves curries, brinjan curry(i did not ate this one as i dont eat it),Pitla(which is made with besan).

The healthy part of it is they are not fried in oil,most of them are boiled well,very little oil is used in curries/chutney.

The cabbage chutney was excellent very well made,so was the sprouts curry,

I need to specially mention about mixed green leaf curry which is very unique and tasted awesome and great for health.

This kamat jowar roti meals is one of a kind very good for health.

people who love roties,want to taste different food then must visit this place.

At the end you are severed with banana and meetha pan

hardly you can find any other hotel restaurant in hyderabad which servers even pan along with food.

The good part is they serve both veg south indian as well as north indian curries along with pulka/chapathi/jowar roti and very sepcial sarva pindi roti.

When i went there i ordered carrot alu curry(rs 10),veg manchuria(rs 20),veg crispy(rs 20) and chapathies(rs 5 each)

The veg crispy was very tasty true to its name it was damn crispy.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food there and i would give a rating of 4.5 out of 5(.5 less because Manchuria was not crispy) .

The meals was utterly delicious each and every dish was tasty be it the panner butter masala with fresh panner ,butter,mixed vegetable curry with lots of nicely chopped vegetables mixed with butter,carrot fry,nice dal,rasam etc.

YOU can eat as much as you want there is no limit at all full pate pooja,100% paisa vasool.

IF you wanna stick to naan's then order as much as you want no need to order plain rice at all. even ghee and pickle are unlimited.

Only soup,sweet,fruit salad with ice cream are limited.

The time as come to taste the vegetable biryani.hyderabadi biryani was well made good blend of vegetables and masalas.The quality of rice is also very good,almost all the vegetables where there except tomato (may be due to its cost,never the less tomatoes are not used in biryani).

Again as i said eat as much biryani as you want no limits only your stomach is the only limit.

Now at the end it was time for the last dish ie is fruit salad with ice cream. vanilla scoop with fruit salad.

Vanilla was good fruitful salad contained apples,pine apples,pomegranate etc

On the whole i thoroughly enjoyed the meal.I would give a rating of 5 out of 5 for the meal,4 out of 5 for the ambiance(1 star less as the fans where placed a bit for from the seats.)

Note: When visiting taj mahal hotel abids if would suggest ac restaurant or if coming with females go to family section.

In non ac the fans are far from the seats, as the food is served hot you get sweat and you wont be able to do justice to the food ordered(if you are a true foodie like me).

Thought it is located in the by lanes of abids hyderabad,it was jam packed with customers and there service is also good.

As the name suggests the restaurant is like a palace and it is on the 8 floor Triveni Plaza abids,opp l ane to santosh cinema hall hyderabad.

Right from the word go one would feel like a king/queen the moment you step in this beautiful restaurant with palace like ambiance true to its name.

As it was time to order we ordered Lemon and Coriander soup,veg manchria,mixed vegetable curry,pudina paratha(made with wheat atta) and vegetable pulav.

The soup was good as it as cauliflower ,nicely chopped cabbage apart from lemon and coriander.Though not as tangy i expected. I would give a rating of 3 out of 5 for soup.

The veg manchuria was excellent very crispy and very tasty.It sounded great with the pickles they severed.This is must try veg dish in this hotel in abids hyderabad.I will give it 5 out of five.

The mixed vegetable curry tasted excellent with pudina paratha.The north indian curry was made with lots of butter so was the paratha applied with lots of butter .The combination was mouth watering .I would give a rating of 4.5 out of 5.

Now it was turn for veg pulav.The quality of rice was good but it was more of alu than other vegetables,but taste was good.I would give a rating of 3 out of 5.

The minus points are you do not get any onion salad which you normally get in almost all restaurants for free. here you need to pay extra if you want one and even the veg pulav is served with only mirch ka salan and not raitha is given and again you have to shell out extra bucks.

Never the less the corner table view is excellent as you can see the city from the top of eight floor.

My over all experience rating would be 4 out of 5.

The following bakery is best in terms of its taste and price.

There are many bakeries in twin cities which offers pizzas,burgers,cakes,rolls and what not.

But most of them are very costly which a common man(lig lower income group cannot afford) and in some cases they sell stale food.

But what about eating fresh cakes baked every days which are

egg less vegetarian and fresh pizzasburgers made every day and all the food stuff sold out mostly on the same they.

There fresh egg less vegetarian pastries are just rs 25 black forest,white forest etc. which are damm tasty

no where else in the entire city you would find such good pastries or cakes.

I went last month tasted there cakes pizzas burgers roll and what not but when i asked for what they said i have to pay 20 rs for bottled water i told them as per GHMC rules every eatery should provide drinking water ,they guided me to the owner i spoke with him he is using gold iphone,ipad etc.

He firmly replied we don't provide water (even there manager too before said the same)

As per ghmc rules you need to provide water even when a small IDly stall guy is providing water and karachi bakery is being run from ages ,being very reputed all over india ,internationally being a landmarak in hyderabad.

I questioned him directly on his face if some one is eating at your outlet and food gets struck and you dont provide water so if he dies will you bear the expenses for their family.

He then gave me a glass of kinley water.

I called the ghmc to complain but they said i cant complain over online i need to do it offline ,i might do complain offline.

I have the guts and courage to fight for my right ,against injustice, I hope you people too have that in you.

Today i am going to review about Eagle boys pizza restaurants begumpet Hyderabad with the tag

Australia favorite pizza.

last wednesday i was with avinash (another foodie) at begumpet as it was lunch time we decided to go to eagle boys pizza and fortunately being wednesday the restaurant was offering buy 1 pizza and get one pizza for the same value and or lesser.

After seeing the menu we ordered vegetarian delux pizza and tandori panner pizza.

first the vege deluxe arrived and we tasted it ,was very good with olives,mushrooms,panner,cheese and tomato.

The base was very soft and smooth easy to cut with knife and eat with fork. the souses provided was very thick tasted good with pizza.

Then it was time for the second free pizza to come Tandori panner with loads of tandori panner,onion,tomato,capsicum,cheese,ground paparika.

We started consuming it and we realized that the pizza base was not as soft as the earlier one it was a bit hard.

We immediately called the manager and told the same,he kindly obliged and repalced the pizza with a new tandoori panner pizza.

It was superb extremely delicious we just loved it.

very good service from the eagles boys team.

we asked for the cheque(bill) and it was rs 420 including rs 350 for pizza another 50 bucks approx for vat and 20 rs for service tax.

I suddenly remembered that service tax of 5.6 % on bill should be charged by those restaurants which have ac and it should be running. Here the ac was off so i again called the manager reminded him the same thing and he deducted 20 bucks from the bill and asked us to pay just 400 rs.

I personally appreciate the manager of the restaurant for being very honest. If it had been some other restaurant firstly they would not have replaced the pizza nor deducted service tax for not switching on the ac.

These kind of restaurants come under class restaurants,just by providing swanky ambiance,over priced food dishes or being located at posh areas does not make them class restaurants .

They should be honest(honesty is the best policy).

If they commit some mistake they should accept and rectify it.

I strongly recommend eagle boys pizza restaurants hyderabad begumpet branch to one and all.

last thursday i was going through fever hospital koranty where i saw many people standing eating so i became very curious (being a true hyderabadi foodie ).

When i went near i saw man sitting in a van selling kova bun for just 10 bucks and many poeple going through it stopped and tasted so i decided too to taste it.

It was awesome the kova was super duper tasty.lot of ghee went into the making the kova.

The bun was very soft a bit small though but no complains to it as i throatily enjoyed eating every byte of it.

for just 10 rs this is worth every penny .

The van normally stops at fever hospital around 12 noon. If you happen to see this sweet van selling delicious kova bun do make a point to stop and eat and if possible take parcels in Hyderabad to near and dears.

i was in narayanguda below the fly over on august 20 2015 around 4 pm i guess and i was very hungry as i did not had my lunch.

There is saw a huge hoarding of jumbo king which was offering restaurant deals discounts hyderabad.

so i went in to check it out of many food deals i picked up panner burji wrap for just rs 70 original price rs 90 so a discount of rs 20 on food .I ordered it.

I must say the panner burji wrap at jumbo kings is very big one it is gigantic.
As i was very hungry i could not take much photos (sorry for that foodies of hyderabad telangana andhra pradesh india)
I immediatelyt started eating it, was very delicious the wrap was with lots of vegetables and ofcourse lots panner burji nicely stuffed in the wrap along with veggies.
i just cant stop saying how damm good this huge wrap was.Not only in size it was big on taste too.
i just loved it super wrap(i would give full marks for the taste and size)

i loved there cheese a lot saw i specially took a pic of it.

next i saw sabhudhana wada(which is one of the my liked dishes which i ate in maharastra)
it costed just rs 20.

the sabhudhana wada was very crunchy and tasty.
It is not the same as we make at our homes or what we get basically in maharastra.

but it is new type of sabhudhana wada at jumbo king hyderabad narayanaguda which is good.

over all i loved this place for there very good quality food and being low on pocket too.

It costed just 60 rs and you get one chapati,sweet,curd,pickel,papad,rice bowl,one fry curry,one other curry,dal and rasam.

For today i was served bhendi fry, tomato curry,both where very good.

This restaurant at masab tank hyderabad is run by kannada brahmins and they make very good rasam and on the whole very delicious meals.

The dal was palak dal which was quite good. I need to specially mention about mango pickel which was fantastic. The rice papads very crispy and taste full,the chapati and rice bowl is sufficient for one person.Normally hey serve halwa/rava kesari as sweet dish but this time around it was double ka meetha which i enjoyed a lot as it was fresh and juicy.

It is a tiny joint which you can find when you are going towards kachiguda from koti.

on 20 of this month me and my fellow foodie avi went to this tiny outlet in ramkote. they have separate family section too.

As soon as we sat down we hooked into the menu and we wanted to eat dry dishes so we ordered panner chatpat and mushrooms 65.

we where a little skeptical about ordering mushrooms as we did not eat the dish before and it being north indian hyderabad dhaba not sure how will he make it but still we struck to our guts and went head.

The panner chat pat was way too spicy we did not expect it to be that hot as we are not used to eating so much spicy food in hyderabad telangana .Though the panner was good but we did like the spice.

Mushrooms 65 turned out to be a super hit dish as it was very good we made( we did not expected this form north indian dhaba as it was not Chinese restaurants hyderabad)

we went for the main course we ordered vegetarian kholapuri and veg kofta along with rumali roties.

Veg kofta we did not liked it as it was made with veg manchuria not with alu.when we questioned the waiter he said that malai kofta and panner/punjabi kofta is made with alu the normal kofta like taste.

But veg kholapuri was very tasty we enjoyed it as it was full of vegetables and butter.
Coming to rumali roti they are very soft and hot and tasted good with curries.
We must say it was the best we have eaten in entire hyderabad.
Later we ordered butter roti which was too piping hot and loads of butter tasted excellent.

for ambiance we would rate at 3,for service 4,for food(except panner chatphat and veg kofta for these 2.5 ) we would rate 4.0

Couples can have a great time here as you have separate section you can relax enjoy the punjabi food and chit chat as long as you want.

The service is good the people are humble,For most of the dishes ,curries,dry items you get half plate so you need not burn your pocket,simultaneously you can taste many dishes at less price as you can order half plates. (This is one of the main reasons i like dhabas because they are pocket friendly)

I went to this place this week i guess on 18 august in the afternoon time and ordered panner 555 a dry dish.

This time i ordered panner 555 for rs 140 full plate.. It is another variant of panner dry dish. It is similar to panner 65 unlike in panner 65 you have small panner pieces but in panner 555 they are slightly bigger,and 555 was a bit crispy too.It was tasty but he had put color in the dish.

I guess i forgot to tell him not to add any color but you guys and gals out there please do make sure you tell particularly to waiter that no artificial color to be added it the dish.

Over all it was good experience and all foodies do visit the top best dhaba in hyderabad(though not in twin cities*)

I must say all the dishes tasted very good,bhendi fry was excellent ,capcicum masala was good so was dal,rasam,sambhar,pickels etc.

only curd is limited only one cup for meal.

There are very few occasions where in almost all the dishes tastes fantastic no complaints at all.

You love food you would love this awesome veg mess in chikadpally hyderabad.

just think rs 65 you get to eat unlimited tasty meals .

yesterday i was in kachiguda and it was dinner time after many years i was at kachiguda hyderabad telangana i first went to a gujarathi meals outlet but they where not ready yet so i decided to go to ramkote as i was going i saw a new vegetarian Shubham Veg Premium dhaba.It was opp to Indian bank kachiguda so i decided to try this one.

I went inside the dhabha was good the movement is sat down the waiter gave me a chill glass of water(very good service) and menu.I went thru the menu i first ordered panner 65 half plate and instructed him make sure he does not add any colour to the food.

Please note: when ever you order any veg dish please make sure they do not add any colour to the food as the colour normally red colour is not good ,it does not add any flavour to the food at all.

In ten minutes time my panner 65 was ready.

The panner was fresh and it was crispy the taste was good and also the tomato sauce was thick

next i went for Panner malai methi chef special which was rs 100 half plate and veg stuffed kulcha

Panner malai methi was excellent it was in kaju gravely full of malai and panner . It tasted good and veg stuffed kulcha was well blended with vegetables and what suprised me was it too full of kaju's very rarely we see kaju in kulchas.
The bill came for rs 245 rs over all it was good experience though i think it was bit pricey for location like kachiguda .

they even have veg dhaba at kondapur so guys in hitec city can visit that place

I was at shoppers stop begumpet hyderabad yesterday and i saw a bhelpuri outlet on the opp site of the road and as usual i was eager to taste the bhel puri on the opp site of the begumpet bus stop.

I crossed the road(it was a nightmare as the bikes ,3 4 wheeler s where going very speed i had to be very cautious while crossing and by grace of god i crossed the road safely.)

The name of the stall was Maha Lakhsmi bhel puri center begumpet hyderabad telangana

I saw the menu bhel puri was rs 20 ,sev puri was rs 30, alu toast was rs 20, etc

I decided to taste bhel puri and i ordered for it. They prepared right in from of me,lots of vegetables,onion,different chutneys,and of course save too.

With in a short while the fresh bhel puri was ready and so was i.

The bhel used was very fresh so are the vegetables the sev was very crunchy.

The bhel puri was a bit tangy and tasty,i wanted to taste the sweet chutney so i asked for it tasted it and it was very good.

So if you happen to be there at begumpet go for it and taste other dishes too.

I could hardly resist my self from going to sweet heart bakery in sr nagar axis bank lane beside reliance fresh.

This time i wanted to try veg burger combo which was 69 rs in which we get veg burger ,french fries and coke.I wanted to eat cheese pizza so i request the owner's bro Harsha to make it cheese pizza.

total came up to rs 79 which is fair enough.

This time also i had to sit in chair as the cough was pre occupied by couples.("I some times wonder what would these parents do when then they come to know the their young lads are enjoying the opp company a lot more than studying. ")

Well as the sweet hearts bakery in hyderabad sr nagar is offering free wifi hyderabad

I enjoyed whats app etc till my order arrived.

So as soon as i got my food i started eating and as you all can see the pics the burger was full of cheese and it was very tasty and the burger was very soft being fresh.

The cheese just melted in my mouth. The french fries was very crunchy enjoyed every byte of it.

The food was great with coke(but i would have preferred some fruit juice option too in the combo apart from coke.) .

Over all the food was good, i got value for my money spend tummy full.

i was passing through fever hospital which is near barkatpura hyderabad. i saw a tiny vegetarian outlet restaurants which was offering vada pav,dabeli sandwich,burger so on.

my eyes rolled over the pictures of the vegetarian dishes severed at outlet opp to fever hospital.

i decided to try out cheese dabeli which was costing rs 30. so i ordered for the dabeli dish hyderabad.

he took the fresh pav in front of me put it on the pan added some butter to it fried it(being a true hyderabadi foodie my mouth was full of water)

though i must say the size of cheese dabeli was small, normally it is a bigger in size.
he kept the curry,save ,anar,chutney and lots of cheese at the end.

i tasted it and as it was hot with lots of cheese and other stuff it was good to taste.

so i decided taste gobi paratha which is just rs 45 only.

they roti wale sr nagar gave 3 pieces of gobi paratha ,raitha ,one lime pickle and one spicy pickel.

The gobi paratha is well made very soft you can actually see stuffed gobi in it.

I need to specially mention the raitha served along with the gobi paratha.

Its is Delicious very tasty it is almost like eating sweet.

When eat with gobi paratha tastes even good and the lime pickel will tickle you for sure.

the other pickel was garlic pickel which was a bit spicy.

on the whole value for money please do visit Roti wale, when you are coming from Passport office in ameerpet towards Satyam movie hall,you will get cross roads,if you take left it will lead you to sr nagar,just go in that road ,roti wale is just a less than half kilo meter away.
