Coaching edge and too many weapons on offense.  It will be a close game but I expect a late Tom Brady drive to be the difference.

The Pats D has just been too inconsistent for me to not take the points.

San Francisco 49ers -2.5
Not that it’s a great reason to pick a team but SF seems like a team of destiny right now and at home with their D I’ll go with them.

Broncos/Patriots OVER 50.5
Denver has found a deep passing game and the Pats are vulnerable to exactly that – we know Brady can put up points.

Green Bay Packers -7.5
I’ve heard a lot of talk about how “hot” the Giants are….really, last time I checked Green Bay’s lost 1 game in the last 2 years!  And they’re at home.

Houston Texans -3
Just don’t see Cinncy having enough on offense consistently enough to overcome the Houston D playing at home.

Lions/Saints UNDER 59
This number is simply too high.  Teams will be fired up – which often means they are slow starting.  Then factor a healthier Lions D than the last time these 2 played and a fired up Saints D and I don’t see both teams getting into 30′s.  And if the Saints build a huge lead they’ll go to the ground to keep Stafford off the field.

Pittsburgh Steelers -9
This game shouldn’t be close.  Denver is perhaps one of the worst offenses teams ever to qualify for the post season.  Teams have figured out Tebow and this is the toughest D they’ve seen in a while.  Steelers 21-3, at least.

Expect GB to actually be able to run the ball and slow themselves down.

Kansas City Chiefs +10.5
Chiefs/Jets UNDER 36.5
Chiefs have the ability to make games ugly and hang around – that’s the pick here.

Pats should control this game – Redskins just don’t have the weapons to pass effectively.

KC will very likely go to Orton in this game but they need more help than that.

Just too many injuries for the Rams to think they can slow down the balanced offensive attack we consistently see from San Fran.

Green Bay Packers -7
Giants can’t get any ground game going, can’t protect Manning and nobody can stop the Packers.

Iowa St/Kansas St UNDER 51.5
Weather a factor but the K-State defense and a young Iowa St QB the bigger factors in this pick.

LSU -13.5
I’ve been impressed  with Georgia all season long but LSU is scary good and has depth that won’t quit.

Wisconsin -9.5
I expect the Badgers to eventually wear down the Mich St defense.   Wisconsin gets revenge.

Texans/Jags UNDER 37.5
Houston will run the ball all day and Jacksonville can’t get past the 50 against any team.

Vikings/Falcons OVER 44
Atlanta playing better, Vikings D struggling and they’ll be passing more in this one.

Auburn +21
Too many points to not take a home rivalry dog.

Texas Tech +13.5
The Baylor D simply isn’t good enough to keep a wide margin extended.

Notre Dame/Stanford UNDER 58.5
Luck and Stanford has struggled to put up big numbers against the better opponents they’ve played this season.

This one shouldn’t even be close.

Buffalo Bills +2
Bills should turn it around against Miami.

Cleveland Browns -0.5
Jags have too many issue to trust on the road, Browns not much better but a strong pick in this one.

Chicago Bears -3.5
Have you seen the Chargers play the last several weeks of the season?  I have – they are not good.
