Both #4 Oregon fell to USC 38-35 in Eugene and #5 Oklahoma fell to Baylor 45-38.

So that means The SEC will own #1 #2 and #3 in the BCS by my best guess.

LSU stays first with their demolishing of Ole Miss Alabama stays second beating Southern Georgia or Georgia Southern 45-21 and Arkansas will move up to 3rd with 4&5 losing and with their win over Mississippi state. Ok want a fun fact? Here it is....The last time #1 #2 #3 were in the same conference was the Big 8 back in 1971 where it was Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Colorado. But beyond 3 i cant tell you who's going to be where.

( and with all this pandemonium i forgot to mention that Clemson got slottered by NC State.) So this week we might as well throw the BCS ranking and throw them in a blender and hit obliterate.

Oklahoma vs. Baylor

Lets talk about the games that happened Saturday... Oklahoma was down 14, rally back to tie it at 38 with :51 left to play. Baylor decides to hand it off, so it looks like Baylor's coach has decided to play the overtime game, but Bob Stoops calls a timeout after that play with :48 left. What ends up happening???? A 34 yard TD pass from RG3 to T.Williams. some will blame Stoops, I blame OU's secondary they got Scorched all night long by RG3, who had a (School) Record breaking 479 yards and 4 touchdowns. Was some luck on one of those TD's ? Yes, but Baylor's wide-outs also dropped a few long range passes that would have gone for touchdowns. Log story short OU's defense could barely stop a stale loaf of bread that night and Baylor took advantage of it and found a way to finally beat OU for the first time in school history.

Oregon vs. USC

I watched this game from the game cast because the OU-Baylor game was in my region. But Oregon was dominated out of the gate being down 14 early in the 2nd quarter. A blocked punt for USC gave them the ball deep in Oregon territory but only getting a field goal on that pushed the lead to 24-7. It was a while before Oregon woke up, it was after Matt Barkley threw a 5yd TD pass to Randall Telfer to put USC up by 24. Oregon then rallied to score 21 unanswered. But it looked to be to-little-to-late as USC was driving for the game clenching touchdown, but they fumbled and gave Oregon the ball at their 14. They drove down to the USC 20 to kick a game tying 37 yard field goal, and well the kick was, ahem- a duck. Missed Wide left.

What a week......

Welcome to BCS's verson if you know where.
So now which one loss team has the best resúme....
I know what the majority of you are thinking " oh now it's going to be a LSU Alabama rematch"
Let me just say alot of teams have to bite the bullet for that to happen still, most likely the ones who are in line to win their conference enter Oregon and Oklahoma.

Oregon by far has the better loss between OU and UO, Oregon lost to the now #1 LSU tigers on the weeks first season, while OU was beat by a meekly Texas Tech team that hasn't won a game since.
Oklahoma has its pluses too... Oklahoma has the most wins vs. BCS top 25 teams. And I'm my personal opinion Oklahoma has the stronger conference. But OU really needed OSU to stay undefeated into "bedlam".

The only thing we can do right now is speculate, and see if Saturday brings any more fun surprises for us football fans.

But not very good football
New Orleans 7-3 vs Dallas 3-7

New England 8-2 vs Detroit 2-8

New York Jets 8-2 vs Cincinnati 2-8

And lets not forget Texas vs Texas A&M

On paper this could be possibly be the worst match-ups of Thanksgiving football history.

The only good one was Dallas and NO, but NE and Detroit was exciting for about a half but after that T.Brady just murdered Detroit's Defense.

But after I gorged my-self on Ham, Turkey and my Grandmothers Hot Rolls and Cranberry Salad, I turned on this game. And I promptly saw Dallas fall to a 0-17 deficit, and I almost Instantly lost all interest. But after that 53 yard field goal i had the tiniest shred of hope with a 6-20 deficit.

Then I saw that 60 yard TD run that Miles Austin got that made it 13-20, and i think Jason Whitten got away with the most obvious hold in the history of football. As the Dallas D hold the high powered Saints offense to another field goal that was no less than 1/2 foot from hitting the goal post, i actually believed that they could pull this off. Then I saw them punt it, and i lost a good part of it. But the Heisman Embarrassment e.g. Reggie Bush FUMBLE! and Dallas scores making it 20-23!

Then Dallas takes the lead with a 1-yard TD Run from T.Choice with around 5 minuets left. And New Orleans goes three and out! And as I saw the "fake" Roy Williams run it inside the 20 yard line, i realized they would win! Until my dad said he fumbled. Then Drew Brees drives the length of the field to cap off the 89 yard drive with a 12 yard pass to Lance Moore.

-Dallas Lost, all because of the fake Roy Williams, and he is the fake Roy Williams because I love OU and you may or may no have known we had a Safety called Roy Williams, but let me say something to the fake one, Our Roy Williams owns you has a national championship on you, and you will always be a ball dropping, longhorn failing, loser. You cost them the game. no matter what anyone says. You cost them the game.

P.S. Texas has their first losing record since 1997, so put you in your juice box and suck it texas, because you have been producing NFL failures since 1982.

In the 2008-'09 year 8-6 2009-'10 8-5. Well, maybe with the Ultimate all time rivalry game will give the Rush, and owner Matthew Whitney that 9th win. And it would come at the most glorious of times, Against his 5-5 Father the Great Plains Marauders.

Let me digress for a brief moment the Main reason why my dad is only 5-5 is well he gotten hold of the short end of the stick a time or three. What i'm trying to say is that for a span of three or four weeks in a row his opponent's Quarterback went into a overtime game, for a while it was almost comical but that made me realize something.......Fantasy Football is a game of Luck e.g. who draws the biggest straw. Because the thing is you can't play/draft a guy solely on "oh i think he's going to get the most overtime games! That's just pure dumb luck, and i gotta say my dad did sure find alot of it.

And he stumbled onto another spectrum of it in week 11. He scores 124 points with his whole team right? But i somehow get 125 from EIGHT of my players. I finished week 11 off with a 47 point performance from P.Rivers on Monday that rockets my total to 172. And well for that week and in the league's history that isn't the highest score, this week highest score was 176 by a 4-6 A Team guy who I now have the displeasure of playing this week. As for this season the highest score was 178 set by a 5-5 OKC ADSTARKS team who had the sheer luck of having M.Vick on that Monday night where he demoralized Mike Shanahan's Redskins D. And the big kicker is that the A Team guy was playing the ADSTARKS guy on the 178 point week, he (A Team) walked away with 148.

-This game that hundreds of thousands of people love to play (And don't get me wrong i still do too) is just based off of dumb luck.

We play fine when the nation doesn't watch, but when its prime time and when all eyes are upon you, you just FLAT OUT SUCK. And then the nation drops you down as 2nd rate and "Oh, yep that's OU" Ou-Mizzou should have been a game we should have won rather easily in my book. They barely Escape San Diego State at Home, the only reason they win that is with a 80 yard TD catch where the Safety flat out fell down. In literally the last minuet of the game. Now here we are #1 in the Nation, and we turn it over in the red zone twice, just add 14 to OU's score and -7 from mizzou's. (that interception, they returned to to the 25ish). The Missouri offence wasn't relevant until the 4th quarter. Heading into the 4th quarter they had 20 points, 7 off the kickoff 6 off two field goals then 7 off the interception "drive" that started from the 25(ish). Then Ou and Landry Jones goes into Snake Bite Mode. But there was a little hope after that insanely lucky kickoff return, we score and then promptly go for two. Here's my aspect DONT GO FOR TWO yet, because you kick the point its a 8 point game, make the 2-point attempt THE LAST THING YO DO!!! Then we miss it still down 9 two poessions with 6ish minuets left, but wait, we get the onside! Wait! no we don't. You first get offsides on the kick then illegally touch it. After that I turned it to the NLCS.

The gun that fired the shots that killed Oklahoma was found in their own hand still smoking.

Teams just want to beat us just because we're Oklahoma, Sorry guys don't hate the player hate the game.

But a Nation High 20 weeks at a BCS #1, and still Oklahoma still doesn't get as much respect as Double Directional State University.

Sorry, back to the BCS, Honestly I think OU should be 2nd or 3rd. Behind Oregon in the mad-mad-mad Pac-10, and Maybe behind Boise State's Blue Turf. Now I wouldn't love it more than any other Sooner fan in this Nation to somehow find it being a OU Boise State National Championship, back in good ol' Glendale. That game would be a bloodbath, OU would enter MEGA-Beast Mode and avenge that '07 Statue of Liberty play. Will this happen....No.

That is unless The SEC just melts down and the Big 10 is caught sniffing the Roses.

But SEC's championship run... is over. Trust me. The ONLY TWO UNDEFEATED TEAMS ARE.... LSU and Auburn. And they are both in the East. And the this is They'll play this week! So the SEC Champion will have at a minimum one loss. (And how about those Ds 108 combined points.)

As for the Pac-10 and Oregon, they could defiantly lose The have to travel to USC and who knows what Kiffin will do, maybe he'll turn the other way as they get some HGHs. Or slip 10,000 bucks under their dorm doors. But thats the only challenge renaming for Oregon.

You know.. the ACC or the Big 10 might get into this. Florida State might climb up and sneak back into it. And Michigan State !!! They are now my favorite to win the big 10. And it will be rather easy, their only challenge at Iowa, then its Northwestern, Minnesota Purdue and last the Fighting JoPas.

And as much as it pains me to say it, Oklahoma is not a lead pipe synch. 4 of our last 6 games are on the road. Such as Mizzou, A&M which absolutely terrifies me! And then Okie Light. But hold on a second!! OU and OSU could be for the South. And that REALLY scares me, a trip to the Big XII championship and maybe, just maybe a national title all riding on a game in Stoolwater??? But that road is a ways away for OSU with trips to KSU and Texas.

Dude This is one of the Most "Wide-Open" BCS Years there could ever be.

And did I learn quite a bit yesterday well for starters there mightnot be a 2011-2012 NFL SEASON?!?!?! WHAT!!! I just about croaked when i herd this, i have never gone a season with Football withdraw? Oh well we'll cross that bridge next year. But here were are at the perseason, not that it matters much, but its at least football. Why start you starters for more than two drives, one wrong move riped ACL out for the season. Just ask Dallas with their TE problems. Speaking of Dallas they have a great chance of playing first host to the super bowl. You would think after 44 super bowls it would of happened before.
And the 2010-2011 Oklahoma Rush has drafted their team. We drafted August 7 this is what I ended up with. ( I have made a few claims lately.)

QB ( Returning from 2009-2010 season) PHILIP RIVERS!!!

QB Matt Ryan

RB Maurice Jones-Drew

RB Rashard Mendenhall

RB C.J. Spiller

RB Justin Forsett

WR Steve Smith (Carolina)

WR ( Also returning from last season) Santonio Holmes

WR Robert Meachem

WR Josh Morgan

WR Anthony Gonzalez

TE Antonio Gates

TE (Another Returning from last season) Tony Gonzalez

D/ST The Eagles (The last returning spot from last season)

D/ST The Saints

and last but defiantly not least

Kicker Ryan Longwell!

overall i think i have a good team but my Wide Receiver core is a tad lacking. But i think i can do this. In all they were Nebraska,Missouri,Notre Dame,Rutgers.

This are the reasons why.

1. TV Coverage

Notre Dame is plastered all over NBC, and as a fello Sooner Fan i really really really hate that

2.The Rutgers has the New Your coverage that has the Big Ten drooling.

3.Missouri and Nebraska are geographically a fit for the big ten, and their offence sets scream big ten also.

Who will go

Missouri they have threatened to leave the Big XII for years, and at the end of this year they said they wanted to leave. 1st chance they have they'll pack up their bags and gladly hit the road.

Nebraska I am honestly 50/50 on this one they have reasons to go and well, very little to stay, lets downgrade this to a 30/70 leaving.

Not Leaving

Notre Dame for years they have been their own little clan of sports, but one thing i don't get, their basketball teams i think are already in a conference the Big East actually.

Here's what will happen

If Missouri and Nebraska leave that will be the beginning of the end. The Big XII will crumble right in front of our eyes.

Texas will go to the Pac-10 but by some weird law commission governor thing Texas A&M will go too. It's as simple as this Where Texas goes A&M will sure to follow.

Colorado will go to the Pac-10 as well. And if they cant make that move, they'll end up in the Mountain West.

But where does that leave Oklahoma, Oklahoma St.,Baylor,Texas Tech,Kansas,Kansas St.,and Iowa St.

Well no-one cares about Kansas,Kansas St. and Iowa St.,so they will probably join the C-USA, big let down for the Kansas schools. One might escape to the WAC or something.

The other Texas schools will have to almost have to become independents. They might fall into the MAC or Sun Belt, if they are lucky.

Where does that leave the Oklahoma schools?

Oklahoma will go to the SEC, although I hate that thats will they'll go.

Oklahoma St. will cry and wheeze and complain that they cant end up with OU.

But in a way The Big XII ruined one of the best two rivalries in College Football those are

Oklahoma vs. Nebraska

And

Oklahoma vs. Texas

Back in the 70's and 80's OU and NEB. just about always were in the top 5 rankings and played for the Big 8 championship and played for a bid for a national championship.

but when the big XII formed they fell into two separate divisions and that killed that great rivalries. Which i say was #2 all-time behind Army and Navy.

OU and Texas back in the 80's they were in separate conferences OU was in the Big 8 and Texas was in the, Southwestern conference. With all other Texas teams. (and boy that was a happy time.) And back then that was a HUGE Game without being a conference game. And if one of these guys lost they could still play for a National Championship, now you lose this game well your looking at the Cotton Bowl if the winner of that game didnt go to the national championship. If they did, they would go to the Fiesta Bowl, and for all Sooner fans know that place doesn't bode well in sooner history.

And in the end this would make up 4-super conferences. hopefully making it easier for us to make a playoff format.

This is all for now,

Big Mac

P.S. I have already made a fantasy football league, Big Mac's Fantasy League. 1/2 of the positions have been filled, if there are any readers out there and you want a spot, just comment below.

BOOMER SOONER!

Bring the Rush!

Well to celebrate that Oklahoma made its mark in sports history for years to come.
First off The University Of Oklahoma Had #1,3,4 and the 21st picks in the NFL Draft.

That is the most since 1947 Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Then The University of Oklahoma State had picks 6 and 24 .

Thats 5 out of the top 32 1st round picks came from Oklahoma

And to top that 9 or 10 of the top round picks came from the Big XII

Suck on that one SEC!

Then to finish the night off, Game 3 of the Lakers vs. Thunder

but only this time it was on out our court

The 2nd year Thunder took down the High-and-Mighty, Defending Champion Lakers 101-96.

On April 22, 2010 Oklahoma had it's 15 minuets in the lime-light.

Lets Rise together and even the series Thunder and lets send a message to the whole nation that Oklahoma isn't to be messed around with.

It felt like it just started dosent it?? Right now I have a 6 point lead in a 3rd place conslation game. 99-93. I have started some new guys like the Ravens D/ST and K. Orton and denvers kicker, and for the first time in awhile d.sprolls. I'm just hopeing for a win... Anyway it's sad that we are at the end for the 2009-2010 season. But on the bright side my Oklahoma sooners won the sun bowl first bowl win in 5 years. And osu lost lol and had as many turnovers as points. So have a great last week, I wish you luck in the new year and if you have a fantasy football game good luck in that too.

-Happy New Year!!!
Big Mac

- Posted using BlogPress from my iPod Touch
