The Washington Harbour Ice Rink will re-open mid-November! Come enjoy the sights and views of the Georgetown Waterfront. 

When the cool temperatures roll into town, The Washington Harbour ice rink turns into the best ice skating in all of D.C. Our Georgetown ice skating rink is the largest ice skating rink in the entire city, larger than the Rockefeller Center in New York City! Enjoy scenic views of the Potomac River, Kennedy Center, Key Bridge, and historic Georgetown while ice skating at the Washington Harbour. The ice skating rink is even more magical at night, with twinkling snowflakes and decorations lighting up the rink. Ice skating at the Washington Harbour is perfect for the whole family or a date night. Enjoy a nice meal or drinks at the plentiful options of surrounding restaurants before or after skating! Our Georgetown ice skating rink offers skate rentals, and open skating in 90 minute increments. Check back for special ice skating events as well! There’s always something going on at the Washington Harbour.

Pricing

  • Adults: $11.00
  • Children (12 & under)/Senior/Military: $9.00
  • Group: $14.00 (includes skate rental; for groups of 10 or more)
  • Skate Rental: $7.00
  • Penguin Rental: $10.00

Morning Private Rentals

  • Private Ice Time $500/ 1 Hour Rental; and $1,350/ 2 hours
  • 1 Hour Times 9:30-10:30 am or 8-9 am (only if later slot is filled)
  • 2 Hour Times 8:30-10:30 am

Time slots available every morning during the season unless otherwise noted. 

  • Admission and Skate rental for up to 20 skaters for 1 hour rental
  • Admission and skate rental for up to 75 skaters for 2 hour rental
  • Additional guests $14 per person including skate rental with a maximum capacity of 250 guests
  • Skate Hosts to assist with you event.
  • No charge for spectators/non-skaters.

Evening Private Rentals

  • Private Ice Time $1000/ 1 Hour Rental; and $2000/ 2 hours
  • Sunday – Thursday (non-holiday dates): 9-10 pm or 9-11 pm
  • Admission and skate rental for up to 75 skaters
  • Additional guests $14 per person including skate rental with a maximum capacity of 250 guests
  • Skate Hosts to assist with you event.
  • No charge for spectators/non-skaters.
