Everton visited Eithaad stadium on the backdrop of a victory over West Brom and Wigan. With strikers like Cahill they were looking to bother the Manchester city's well built defense spearheaded by the likes of Komapny. On the other hand Manchester City was quite confident despite thier recent draw against Fulham where they lost the two goal lead and only managed to get a point. Roberto Mancini's men were all prepared to do business and outclass David Moyes side.

The game began in a slow mode and nothing interesting happened except for few shots from Manchester City and Some good saves form Tim Howard, the Everton goalkeeper.Dzeko and Aguerro looked good but overall the performance was a lazy one from the whole team seemed like they were tired except from some quality passes from Silva. Baines was the man for visitors providing them with regular balls in the box but they were never really a threat to a well balanced Manchester City side.

As the game kicked off after half time Manchester city looked more determined though the game play was still lazy Everton defenders seem tired so was the crowd in the stands. The game really took a turn when Dzeko was replaced by young Italian Bolatelli who came in to spur up Manchester city's performance and kill any hopes that Everton had to steal a point away form the Eithaad stadium.

He came in to score and made the score line 1-0 at when the clocked ticked to 68th minute.

later Milner showed the quality he posses and ensured that Manchester City gets 3 points from the game. when he score on 89th minute to make it 2-0

We all know what he is capable of, and we know what he need to do. Hargreaves has got the talent and spirit that can make any player a superstar in the premier league. He has been on the sidelines for almost two years and never really settled with Manchester after his move from Bayern. He can be a wonderful player if he is fit. But a club like Manchester city is it good for him.

Manchester city is full of players they have got talent in plenty. If he joins them he wont be getting regular football and thats not what he need. He needs to play more regularly to be back at this stage. Stoke or West Brom will definitely give him the chance to show his talent. He needs a platform to display his capabilities not a platform to sit on the bench.

So where should he head. Give us your views on the same.

Chelsea midfielder Benayoun who hardly played for Chelsea after his move from Liverpool today posted on twitter that he is in talks with various clubs and the resolution will be made before the end of transfer window. He is the same guy whom Andres Villlas Boas praised for his versatility during the pre - season.

He is definitely an architect in the midfield and can provide assists for strikers. Chelsea could have tried him for some time he could be an asset to any side who is looking for creativity with pace.

Can he be a link between Modric and Chelsea

What happened to Blackburn are they completely prepared to go down. Steve Kean is completely ineffective on the sidelines and the team is struggling with confidence. Their owners have failed to bring in any good quality signings and their opponents are too good for them. Are we going to see anything good in the last days of transfer market. If not they are destined to go down.

Arsenal has been struggling and started up the season campaign in the worst possible manner. This season Arsne wenger will fight to save his job. Players are struggling and no quality signings in the open market casts doubts on their chances.

Sir Alex and his Manchester United have got a good start for the season beating spurs 3-0 but there are still doubts about how far this team can go with low experience and struggle in at the back. Rooney is the key man for them and if he fails there is no one to stand in his position. But Ferguson's magic has always lifter Manchester United.

Arsenal: With Fabregas and Nasri wanting out the task at hand of Wenger is to rebuild the team and recreate those winning ways. They struggled to be anywhere near the title for past few years and fans are getting impatient. Signings does not highlight their motivation and vision to fight for the league title. Wembley is all set to host yet another Community shield game. This time the giants of Manchester, Manchester United and Manchester city goes head to head for the prestigious shield. Manchester United had a wonderful pre season with the the highlight of victory over Barcelona. But with no Van der Sar in goal they will be a completely different side. Manchester city have spend their pre season in United States and had a decent one apart from a few hiccups. Manchester City are facing tensions from Balotelli and Sulking Tevez who might not feature in the game. Adebayor is a completely different story for them. They spend huge money on Aguerro. And Manchester city fans would love to see him score. Manchester city have plenty of options upfront with like of Dzeko and Aguerro. Manchester United though have almost same guns in front of goal, but who cares when they have some one like Rooney.

With both teams suitably prepared to cut each other jaws and seal the Shield Their rivals Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal will be watching from the sidelines.

The match was a must watch. both Reading and Millwall was up for it and the game had everything from tempo to emotions. A short from Reading lad Kebe went wide within 2 minutes of the start nothing much happened except from few misses from both Reading and Millwall. A yellow card for Millwall lad Dunne was there at around 20 minutes post kick off. 42 minutes on the clock and Millwall lad Henderson went into the books.The first half neded qith both teams on equal terms and both Millwall and hosts Reading went into their respective dressing rooms.

Finally the most awaited moment is back. Its two recently relegated side fighting their way back into the top flight. On the opening night of the new edition of Football Championship Hull hosted Blackpool.

The much anticipated match started with ref Mathieson getting the game underway. And within one minute he was using his whistle again to indicate the foul on Blackpool player Ian Evatt by Hull Player Adebola. Then followed a series of corners both Hull and Blackpool were working hard but in terms of goal line there was not much action. Refree came in action again as Blackpool player Kevin Phillips went down after a challenge by Tom Cairney. Ref awarded a freekick to blackpool and a yellow card to Joe Dudgeon, for completely diferrent challange though. Blackpool lad Evatt also went into the books in the 45th minute. Nothing much happened in the first half and both Hull and Blackpool went in their respective dressing room with score lone 0-0.

Scoreline may suggest it was a boring match but in truth it was a well fought game. Both the Aberdeen and St Johnstone worked hard to ensure a good start to new Scottish premier league season.

The highlight of the game was sending off of 19 year old Ryan Jack of Aberdeen. Refree found his challenge on Frazer Wright of St Johnstone an unfair one and shown a straight red.

Despite ten men on fireld Aberdeen enjoyed domination but they couldnt capitalize. St Johnstone worked hard but failed to take advantage of 10 men Aberdeen. The game ended a 0-0 draw.

Motherwell v Inverness CT

It was a comfortable day out for motherwell players. They took at the lead with 25 minutes on clock when Steve Hammell vollleyed the ball by Michael Higdon to the top left corner of Inverness goal.

Motherwell never looked back as Inverness struggled to find thier way back in the game. Jamie Murphy closed all doors for Inverness as he fired the ball to the back of the Inverness net around 27 minutes n the clock. Motherwell was looking comfortable and went into the half time with 2-0 lead on Inverness. Inverness had no answer for mighty Motherwell.

Keith Lasley of Motherwell was in really good mood as he scored from 30 yards out and putting the ball in the top left corner of Inverness goal. Motherwell fans were jubilant they got the perfect start for the season. Inverness have to rethink their plans for the season.

Scottish Premier League - The Game Begins here.. Rangers v/s Hearts

It all began with defending champions (Rangers) taking on Hearts. The much awaited kick off is here.

Hearts started the game positively with Obua on target on 16th minute. Daniel Grainger provided the assist before Obua headed the ball in the back of the net past McGregor .

There was nothing much in the first half and Rangers went into dressing rooms trailing Hearts 1:0.

Second half was swung Rangers way when Steven Naismith headed the ball in the back of net with an assist from Sasa Papac.

what a goal and what a moment.

The game took an agressive turn with passion running high and Lee McCulloch and Marius Zaliukas getting yellow card near an hour mark, thereby opening the booking list for the Scottish Premier League season.
