The San Diego Zoo's Giant Panda Bai Yun has given birth to a squeaky little pink <a href="http://bcove.me/pb3gvj48" target="_blank">baby panda</a>. That's right, pink, they don't get their black and white coloring for a few weeks after birth. Bai Yun has been cuddling the little one nonstop like the most loving mother you've ever seen. It's amazing because she is getting up in the years for child bearing...no pun intended. But it appears that Bai Yun's motherly instincts are fresh as ever, barely leaving the den to even get a sip of water. I can't wait to see the little panda in person. Till then, I'll be checking <a href="http://www.sandiegozoo.org/pandacam/" target="_blank">The San Diego Zoo Panda Cam</a> on a regular basis.<br /> <br /> <iframe allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen" frameborder="0" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/noGoGya6jkY" width="560"></iframe>d$http://www.blogger.com/profile/15232687180411957761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712896187754901561.post-63163456252176119852012-01-05T12:10:00.000-08:002012-01-05T12:10:22.802-08:00My favorite Christmas present every year is a the Panda Calendar that my mom gives me. Cool off with this<a href="http://forloveofpandas.blogspot.com/p/panda-videos-gallery.html"> hilarious video of panda cubs </a>playing in the snow at a panda playground. So cute!<br /> <br /> <br /> <iframe width="425" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/jveZKn0SiVI" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>d$http://www.blogger.com/profile/15232687180411957761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712896187754901561.post-42076784683396884592011-05-25T22:13:00.000-07:002011-05-25T22:13:14.223-07:00It is so funny when animals act like humans...especially when they act like human toddlers. What a funny, exploratory stage of development. This toddler panda video just cracks me up as the little thing bobbles around, flips over branches, plays with "toys" and snuggles mamma panda.<br /> Enjoy!<br /> <br /> <embed base="http://admin.brightcove.com" bgcolor="#FFFFFF" flashvars="videoId=58542704001&amp;playerId=1635268009&amp;viewerSecureGatewayURL=https://console.brightcove.com/services/amfgateway&amp;servicesURL=http://services.brightcove.com/services&amp;cdnURL=http://admin.brightcove.com&amp;domain=embed&amp;autoStart=false&amp;" height="412" name="flashObj" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/shockwave/download/index.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" seamlesstabbing="false" src="http://c.brightcove.com/services/viewer/federated_f8/1635268009" swliveconnect="true" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" width="486"></embed>d$http://www.blogger.com/profile/15232687180411957761noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712896187754901561.post-3198806174689157782011-05-10T21:05:00.000-07:002011-05-10T21:05:06.880-07:00I think one of the many reasons I love panda's so much is that I identify with their love of eating. Do you know how much bamboo pandas eat each day? According to the San Diego Zoo, giant pandas eat up to 84 pounds of bamboo each day, spending at least 12 hours a day eating. If only I looked so good from eating all day! Nom nom nom...enjoy!<br /> <table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody> <tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDBxxWzJeIcw-2f24DAJfvjm2CM2NKbmdYundGGJmWGdJZpQ2JMWQV6DdgFgFxmoMBr2vPNLstjIO9pt4Sa_Xs0fz8yr4xsRy4G4KUF9q3rCjq_ezZdtip4p9Uf5d_k38MgKQaUh_pv_Y/s1600/panda+eating+bamboo.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjDBxxWzJeIcw-2f24DAJfvjm2CM2NKbmdYundGGJmWGdJZpQ2JMWQV6DdgFgFxmoMBr2vPNLstjIO9pt4Sa_Xs0fz8yr4xsRy4G4KUF9q3rCjq_ezZdtip4p9Uf5d_k38MgKQaUh_pv_Y/s400/panda+eating+bamboo.jpg" width="400" /></a></td></tr> <tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Photo of Panda Eating Bamboo</td></tr> </tbody></table>Photo courtesy of <a href="http://www.photoeverywhere.co.uk/">Photoeverywhere</a>d$http://www.blogger.com/profile/15232687180411957761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712896187754901561.post-45508616518972132172011-04-28T06:15:00.000-07:002011-04-28T06:15:39.952-07:00<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;">"Why do panda's like old movies?"</span><br /> <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoOVzrHZVy1n6PqFzEAmcVQdd23UMnIFE4XSwu2dSwlpQ0fyudY4kssDc0MOto-hKSr7C-XNdsxdb3FsNOzIWDaXdb9_LrA_OmOZknd2EPrw6H1e7wihEDPmxvHD5pUocqhW9hjZRMuCk/s1600/panda_watching_tv-copy.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="208" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhoOVzrHZVy1n6PqFzEAmcVQdd23UMnIFE4XSwu2dSwlpQ0fyudY4kssDc0MOto-hKSr7C-XNdsxdb3FsNOzIWDaXdb9_LrA_OmOZknd2EPrw6H1e7wihEDPmxvHD5pUocqhW9hjZRMuCk/s320/panda_watching_tv-copy.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"><br /> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"></span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;">"Because they're in black and white"</span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"><br /> </span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon'; font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;">Adorable Panda Pic of the Week:</span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: 'Coming Soon';"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 15px; line-height: 21px;"><br /> </span></span><br /> <span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif;"><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-size: 12px; line-height: 15px;"><a href="http://www.flickr.com/photos/bartyork/2233046838/">http://www.flickr.com/photos/bartyork/2233046838/</a></span></span>d$http://www.blogger.com/profile/15232687180411957761noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8712896187754901561.post-13908279762248434112011-04-27T10:45:00.000-07:002011-04-27T22:58:14.519-07:00<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="float: left; margin-right: 1em; text-align: left;"><tbody> <tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcVGt3SKTMFcm22mbPeWroeUhKyYKW0pQw3_8y0gTXtWgolS5PRLgiDkdCU2xlHhWHo_xhoX1tMf1vZ64H7da-jZRa5Legz0Dp8QFapvJV90wWxkqja1qOtrN84NEpkrZz_9GbPiowhJ0/s1600/848824_51916006.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="clear: left; margin-bottom: 1em; margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" height="203" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhcVGt3SKTMFcm22mbPeWroeUhKyYKW0pQw3_8y0gTXtWgolS5PRLgiDkdCU2xlHhWHo_xhoX1tMf1vZ64H7da-jZRa5Legz0Dp8QFapvJV90wWxkqja1qOtrN84NEpkrZz_9GbPiowhJ0/s320/848824_51916006.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr> <tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Mommy panda and baby panda love</td></tr> </tbody></table>If you have a love for pandas like I do, then you will love this panda website.
