As I've been mentioning, I've discovered a newly found appreciation for color. Verdict is still out if this sudden change is permanent, time will tell but in the meantime, I thought it would be fun to put this appreciation to good use with a new take on an old feature. Groupings inspired by color that live temporarily in my mind, permanently here on the blog and for some, temporarily amongst my walls.

Powder blue is undoubtedly here for Spring, it's everywhere, and it's everything.

The adventures you may never get the chance to take? Well Tori Hendrix, her husband and their little Lucca take them. Adventures to Morocco, Marfa, the middle of no-where. They get lost. If you take a look at my Pinterest feed, you'll quickly notice I've uncharacteristically fallen in love with color lately. I'm obsessed and I love it. For someone who has been so aversed to color for so long, it's a welcomed change. Maybe it's just a temporary excitement for Spring. Maybe a life altering development. Only time will tell. february + march in review

Since I've been a bit MIA lately - I figure, what better way to catch up than with a little review on life? February was hectic and March flew by even faster. Zach started the Fire Academy and I've been on the road. While I've been nonstop packing bags and lunches, Z is up at 3:45 and out the door by 4 for long days out at the academy. We both race home to get the night started unpacking gear and coolers, washing dishes, making dinner, packing lunches, more dishes, dessert, laundry, ironing and if all goes as planned, Z is in bed by 9. It's a grind - but it's our new normal. Dare I even say we're getting pretty good at it? Here's to 5 more weeks - I've never been so proud of Z. His sacrifice, hard work and determination are paying off and I have no doubt we are exactly where we are supposed to be in this life!

It's warm, it's open, it's bright and it's the home of interior designer Suzanne Gorman. Gorman's family has called this house home for over 15 years. Beginning as a family of three, the family has grown and grown throughout the years and so has the bungalow. Friendly and relaxed, it has expanded and has been restyled to fit the needs placed upon it. Totally perfect in so many ways. Besides, theres just something to be said for bold navy walls and neutrals.
