Ford has successfully used social media and grass roots marketing to built anticipation for the all-new Ford Fiesta via the Fiesta Movement. Available next year, San Antonio Ford dealers and others have already received ample inquires regarding the new car thanks in part to the Fiesta Movement’s buzz. But consumers in Europe already can get their hands on this sporty compact and perhaps no other road test can sum this car up quite like the extreme road test administered by the guys from Britain’s Top Gear. Enjoy.

Ford used the Frankfurt Auto Show to display one of its newest products, the all-new Ford C-MAX. What makes this especially notable is the fact that it’s coming to the North American market to the delight of Waldorf Ford and others. With a stylish exterior and seating for seven, the C-MAX will likely excite buyers that are torn between a crossover vehicle or a wagon.

Scheduled to launch in late 2010, the Ford C-MAX will be part of the automaker’s new global lineup strategy, bringing more synergy between various markets worldwide. When it becomes available, Washington DC Ford truck dealers say it will demonstrate Ford’s commitment to comfort, convenience, and safety, while also providing a good driving experience.

The exterior of the Ford C-MAX uses similar cues and design language from current European Ford models, including the Fiesta, Kuga, and the Mondeo. With a relatively high roofline to accommodate seven passengers and cargo, the C-MAX will likely be compared with the Toyota Venza, new Honda Accord Crosstour, or Subaru Outback suggests Southern Maryland Used Cars as its design certainly combines a wagon and a crossover vehicle.

Inside, the interior design should be equally as fresh and as the exterior thanks to bold shapes and a masculine look. According to Alexandria Ford, seating also features an available 2+2+2 seating configuration for convenience, but can expand to seven if necessary. Power will come from Ford’s new EcoBoost four cylinder engine lineup, which should satisfy drivers’ desire for power and efficiency.

Ford has been developing a new range of engines that are able to balance power, efficiency, and eco-friendliness all at the same time. One highly-anticipated result of this push is the EcoBoost V6, offering the power of a V8 with the efficiency of a V6. The latest powertrain from Ford is the new 6.7-liter Power Stroke V8 engine.

The new Power Stroke diesel provides incredible power for Ford’s range of Super Duty pickup trucks. But what sets this new engine apart from previous diesels according to one used car dealer Macon is that it’s ultra quiet. The engine is so quiet in fact that it’s almost difficult to tell that it’s a diesel.

A new diesel engine is incredibility important to the Ford Super Duty range of trucks says Georgia Commercial Trucks Sales. Previously, the trucks suffered from quality issues that plagued the Power Stroke diesel engine. However, Ford has improved performance and quality to help keep its dominance in the truck market. Improvements include fast-acting fuel injectors, a new sequential turbocharger, a lightweight graphite iron block, and new injection system. Overall, these improvements create an engine that is quieter, has more performance at both low and high speeds, and produces lower emissions than the outgoing 6.4-liter engine.

Ford engineers also considered quality and longevity in the latest Power Stroke diesel stresses Boise Ford trucks dealers. As such, the new engine is engineered to last 300,000 miles without major service. With all of these improvements and enhanced quality, the new engine fetches a prices tag of $9,325 over the base F-250’s $26,275 price tag. That may be steep for some Ford F-Series buyers, but for customers that need the power and reliability, it may certainly be worth the expense.

Long after its debut in 1985, and its temporary demise in favor of the Five Hundred nameplate, the Ford Taurus is making headlines once again. The Taurus, once a top selling sedan, is all-new and is the embodiment of sweeping changes that are underway at Ford. While the automaker has dodged bankruptcy unlike its Detroit-based counterparts, the Taurus is intended to be a shining example of the automaker’s return to prominence.

From the perspective of the Taurus’ design, the new sedan is stunning. Sleek and modern, the sedan doesn’t have a dull or economy look to it in any way. Unlike the original Ford Taurus, Cincinnati used car dealers point out that the latest reincarnation is much larger and will compete in the full-size sedan market rather than the mid-size market. Considering that its competition includes the conservative Toyota Avalon and the aging Chrysler 300, Ford might be in the right segment, even though moving upscale means lower potential sales volume.

Complimenting the Ford Taurus’ sleek exterior is an interior that features new technology and conveniences as well as top-notch materials says Ford Service San Diego. The dash is smartly laid out with controls that are easy to find and easy to reach. The navigation system also features a blind spot detection system as one of the Taurus’ many ingenious safety features.

Powering the Ford Taurus is a powerful 3.6-liter Duratec V6 that produces ample power while maintaining 22 miles per gallon on the highway. Although not athletic by any means, customers visiting Ford Newark NJ have already noted that the Taurus can move with the best of them. For added power, buyers can also opt for the Taurus SHO which features a 3.5-liter turbocharged V6 engine.

The 2010 Ford Taurus is priced from $25,170. The new Taurus is fresh and exudes quality, and it should be enough to encourage many potential car buyers to visit a Ford dealership. With new models arriving next year as well, the 2010 Taurus may just spark a new wave of Ford converts.

The 2010 Ford Taurus is all new, and it marks the first all-new model since Ford decided to bring back the Taurus nameplate following the dismal results of the Ford Five Hundred sedan. What Ford has also brought back is the SHO, the performance model of the Taurus.

With the slowing economy, automakers are struggling to maintain the momentum of new car sales. But other problems also have hampered automakers, including the prevalence of aging, lackluster products. Ford is one automaker that is hoping to eliminate that problem as they are planning on refreshing nearly its entire global lineup by 2012.

Nearly 90% of Ford lineup will soon be refreshed, or all-new according to a Ford Kansas City dealer. Fueling this initiative is a newly adopted strategy of having a single global product lineup which a San Diego used Ford dealer says will streamline operations and make Ford a stronger company. This will eliminate overlapping models that have separate platforms and it will ultimately reduce costs.

Ford has not followed in the footsteps of GM and Chrysler into bankruptcy restructuring, but one Ford dealer specializing in used cars Denver admits the automaker has not been without its fair share of problems. Ford is hoping that its new global lineup strategy will allow the financially troubled automaker to get out of the red by 2011. Thanks to its global lineup, it will soon benefit from reduced development and manufacturing costs as redundancies will eventually be eliminated.

Ford has long developed different vehicles for different regions around the world. While this strategy has its benefits, it has not paid off in a time of adverse economic challenges. One benefit of this new strategy is that American consumers will soon receive vehicles that have been previously out of reach, such as the recently redesigned Ford Fiesta which is already on sale in Europe and will become available in the States late next year.

As Ford revamps their entire lineup to make way for a new, seamless global product lineup, two of its latest vehicles, the 2010 Ford Taurus and Ford Focus Coupe, have received prominent praise - both have earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick rating.

As Ford revamps their entire lineup to make way for a new, seamless global product lineup, two of its latest vehicles, the 2010 Ford Taurus and Ford Focus Coupe, have received important praise – both have earned the IIHS Top Safety Pick rating.

Helping these cars earn the coveted top safety ratings are a range of features that not only improve the safety of the cars themselves, but also help the drivers make better driving decisions according to one Pennsylvania Ford dealer. Among the key safety features that can be found inside the 2010 Ford Taurus is what Ford calls the Side Protection and Cabin Enhancement Architecture which provides greater resistance to side impacts. There’s also the Safety Canopy which includes the numerous airbags the fill the cabin.

In addition to structural enhancements and other features, the latest Ford Taurus is not without unique safety technology. This includes adaptive cruise control to ensure the Taurus maintains a safe distances from vehicles ahead. The Taurus can also be had with the popular MyKey system, which Ford Financing Kansas City says provides a variety of pre-set restrictions and/or warnings that give parents ample control when their teen drivers are at the wheel.

The latest Ford Focus is also available with many of these same safety features. This summer, the Focus will also be getting MyKey technology, and the Focus is already available with electronic stability control, a Personal Safety System which analyzes crash conditions and coordinates the deployment of safety systems, and last but not least the Focus can be had with Ford’s renowned Sync infotainment system which makes hands-free driving extremely easy.

With these and other safety innovations, Ford is making substantial improvements to its lineup beyond aesthetic updates observes Ford Service Collegeville. With industry leading safety systems and technologies, Ford should be able to win back the trust of family car buyers yet again.

As both brands are trying to compete in the highly competitive premium market, Ford is attempting to make the brands more competitive, and prepare both brands for new upcoming global platforms. The result of this strategy will remove larger vehicles such as the Grand Marquis and the Mountaineer out of the Mercury lineup. As for Lincoln, the same approach will likely be applied.

With sales of larger models such the Lincoln Navigator stagnating, Lincoln will soon feature smaller cars, perhaps some of the smallest cars in the brand’s history suggests Minneapolis car parts retailers. Already, some of the Lincoln’s recent concept cars have indicated a that it will become skewed towards smaller vehicles, but how large of a step Lincoln will take towards downsizing is not yet known.

One of the small new Lincoln vehicles that will soon become available is likely going to be based on the new Ford Focus global platform. Additionally, a compact crossover is also on the way to the delight of one car dealer Richmond VA, and could break cover in 2011. With other premium brands offering attractive compact crossovers, Lincoln Salinas believes that a compact from Lincoln could be just what the brand needs to boost sales while at the same time maintain an image of small car prowess.

Additionally, the Lincoln MKZ will receive a full redesign as early as 2012 thanks to the rapid adoption of Ford’s global mid-size platform, which will soon find its way into numerous models. The MKS sedan will also get a midlife update in 2011 and a full redesign as early as 2014. The one vehicle whose sales have stalled and that doesn’t fit neatly into this new strategy is the Lincoln Navigator. Plans are not firm on the fate of this behemoth truck-based SUV, but discontinuation is not entirely off the table.

For 2010, the Ford Mustang has been completely redesigned. While the latest Mustang is mostly all new, the engines are not, which has disappointed plenty of Mustang fans. Luckily, Ford appears to be working hard to produce new engines for the pony car that balance power and efficiency.

Perhaps most notable is the upcoming 5.0-liter V8 that’s reportedly in the works for the 2011 Ford Mustang GT. This new 5.0-liter engine, code named Coyote, will replace the existing 4.6-liter V8. With the release of the new 5.0-liter engine, Philadelphia Ford dealers say the Ford Mustang will reportedly also feature a new 5.0 badge on the side fender, reminiscent of the badge used on 1979-1993 Mustang models.

Reports of the new V8 say the engine will produce upwards of 400 horsepower according to one Ford dealer Washington DC. With ample competition these days from the Dodge Challenger as well as the recently released Chevrolet Camaro, Ford Kansas City suggests that the release of the powerful new engine is desperately needed.

In addition to the new Coyote V8, the 2011 Ford Mustang will likely get a new 3.7-liter V6 engine as well to replace the current V6 found in the base model. These engines will also receive direct injection technology to help boost power while also helping to boost efficiency as Ford attempts to increase its fuel economy average across its engine lineup.

Ford has been working hard to cut debt and reduce spending. One of the ways in which the company hopes to achieve this lofty goal is by introducing a global product lineup, rather than different lineups and different markets. This strategy will soon lead to a number of vehicles, including an all-new platform which is hoped to spawn three different sedans.

Having a global sedan product lineup will certainly help to cut costs, but these vehicles may also be the most important in terms of Ford’s potential sales success. One of these new sedans will be the next generation Ford Taurus, as well as the Fusion and the Mondeo, the latter of which is currently only sold in Europe. According to Macon Ford dealers, an all-new front-wheel drive platform will soon be introduced to underpin all three aforementioned vehicles, reversing the current strategy which features three completely unique platforms.

This new platform will reportedly be similar to the European midsized platform that currently underpins the Ford Mondeo, which one Ford dealer in Pittsburgh says should provide a solid foundation for new sedans. Currently, midsized North American models are utilizing a very different platform, and Ford Parts San Diego suggest that vehicles such as the Taurus and Edge will likely adopt this new platform in the future.

Sources inside Ford suggest the next generation Taurus sedan will be slightly more compact than the current model. The smaller size will also be carried over to other midsized models, including the next Ford Flex and Lincoln MKT which share that same platform.

The Ford Focus has been completely redesign for the 2010 model year, but 2009 Focus models still sitting on dealer lots are certainly worth checking out as well.

A new Ford Focus will soon be heading to the U.S. based on the current model sold in Europe, but until then the 2009 Focus models are still sitting on dealer lots and are certainly worth checking out as well. With a solid 35 miles per gallon, unique technology such as Sync infotainment from Microsoft, not to mention a competitive price tag, the 2009 Ford Focus has plenty to offer a compact car buyer.

For both 2008 and 2009, the Ford Focus received important updates, which Minnesota Ford dealers say helped to make it more competitive against slightly fresher models. Ford also decided to leave only a coupe and a sedan, axing wagon and hatchback models. Aside from the changes to the body style options, the Ford Focus received only cosmetic changes.

Under the hood, the Ford Focus has remained unchanged, and features a Duratec inline four cylinder engine from the previous year. This engine produces 140 horsepower and 132 lb ft of toque and is mated to a five-speed manual or four-speed automatic transmission. Although it may not sound like an abundance of power, one Ford dealer that specializes in Ford commercial vehicles in Florida suggests the Duratec engine has been steadily improved over the years and is a peppy and fuel efficient engine compared to others in its class.

Inside, the 2009 Ford Focus displays quality fit and finish, which will likely surprise many potential Focus buyers as it already has at Newark Ford dealers. Additionally, materials are among the best in its class. Seats are supportive and the front buckets can be heated. Access to the rear seats is not good, but the once passengers get in, there is ample interior space.

For those looking for a good value on an all-around solid performer in this class, the 2009 Ford Focus is certainly worth your time. While there are plenty of other options that may give you more performance, or more interior value, or more style, the 2009 Focus can likely be had with a highly competitive price tag that will make it well worth it.
