Activities for Kids in Lake George

Six Flags is always a hit with kids and they can also enjoy an indoor water park, regardless of the season in which you visit. Kids and adults alike will enjoy the Extreme Adventure Course, which is an aerial course that will satisfy anyone’s climbing instinct. Let the monkey in you go wild and enjoy either the kids’ or adults’ adventure course as you navigate among the trees.

Kids will also enjoy Go Carts, Miniature Golf, and Trail Riding, along with numerous water activities, such as rafting, parasailing, river tubing, and playing in the water parks. Kids will also enjoy tennis, basketball, kayaking, and canoeing at the lodge as well as plenty of activities throughout the village. Hiking and biking are popular activities for the kids and parents as well.

Kids will enjoy skiing and sledding in the winter and a myriad of water activities in the summer in Lake Placid. Camping and fishing are favorite activities for families with children as well. Kids will also enjoy Santa’s Workshop, a Christmas themed amusement park near Lake Placid that is open in the summer and weekends near the Christmas season. Kids will enjoy rides, shows, and the magical experience of visiting Santa at his home in the North Pole.

Most kids love the water and Lake Saranac offers plenty of water activities that kids will love. Your kids will enjoy swimming, canoeing, kayaking, and rafting.
