It’s so misd-efined that even “experts” use the incorrect definition of it.

Most people think introvert and extrovert has something to do with how outgoing you are or even how you express yourself. It doesn’t. It deals with how you manage your mood and energy. Extroverts rely on external things to manage their mood, while introverts do it internally within themselves. The best way to describe the terms is with examples.

If you wake up a little a down, but the sun is shining and your favorite song is on the radio, and you find yourself feeling more positive you’ve handled your mood in an extroverted manner. An introvert can wake up to the happiest day and if they’re sad, they stay sad. Few things on the outside will affect their mood.

Extroverts seem more sociable because most extroverts rely on others as a method of improving their mood and energy. Extroverts will call their friends when they are down, or will go that party just to alter how they feel. An extrovert is more likely to ask their friends for advice, so going shopping in groups or texting all their friends for tips on what laptop to buy is common for extroverts.

Introverts are internal. When they have a problem they prefer to be alone and self-reflect so as to come to a long term solution. They rely on their own personal feelings to make a decision and if they do seek advice, they prefer tried and true expert advice or to talk to someone who has gone through something similar.

According to studies there are more extroverts than introverts, but many people actually sit close to the middle of the spectrum.

One isn’t better than the other and you can’t change how you are. Most psychiatrists say you’re born either or.

The upside to being an extrovert is that they can change their moods pretty quickly, for a temporary period. Listening to their favorite song, watching a good movie, or hanging out with friends can shift their moods to positive fairly quickly. Thus, extroverts can give the appearance of being happy or ok in a moment. Or they can be happy long enough to get through something. Example, their physics class isn’t so bad because all their friends are in it.

On the downside, extroverts are usually moody and rarely keep an emotion or energy level for a long period of time. They can start the day off good, but if one negative thing happens, their positive mood plummets. Even seeing a sad story on the new can put them in a negative mood. Extroverts are known to feel sad if their friend or loved one is sad.

Because they prefer to be distracted from their bad mood, they tend to always be seeking something to keep them up. This goes back to the misconception that they are more social. They may not be hanging out with their friend because they really want to; they could just need the distraction.

Extroverts can sometimes be clingy and dependent, because when they find a person who helps them maintain their mood and energy level, they are very reluctant to let go. Remember, extroverts are external. Their mood and energy is greatly affected by things outside of them.

The great thing about being an introvert is their ability to maintain a positive mood for a long period of time. Their sad friend or bad hair day isn’t going to get them down. Introverts are not as moody as extroverts, so when they’re up they can remain up for a lot longer. They are also better at solving their own problems and keeping themselves motivated. The internal introvert doesn’t need a team of cheerleaders behind them to get a job done; they can usually mentally talk themselves into doing it.

However, the ability to sustain a mood also applies to negative ones. Unlike the extrovert who can do something to switch their feelings, the introvert can remain in a negative slump for a lengthy period. This is largely due to the fact that introverts don’t like distractions, they want a solution.

They may try to alter their mood with a good song, but can zone into the bad feelings rather than the song. If you’ve ever tried to cheer up an introvert you know how frustrating it can be because nothing seems to penetrate the bad mood.

Introverts need to work through things themselves. Unless you’re going to offer a different perspective, most introverts can easily tell themselves what they need to hear. They are good at tinkering with their own minds and working their way to a solution. Introverts usually prefer to do this alone, where they can be within themselves and not be distracted. An introvert can’t snap out of things, but they usually are able to come back to a positive way of thinking.

Most introvert and extrovert tests online and even those giving by professionals aren’t correct because they focus more on the social aspect. I was able to do several with the panel and learned I’m an introvert. I always knew this though, because of the way I handle my problems. I don’t go to my friends, or seek a distraction. I tend to sit alone until I’ve thought my way through the problem or I’m ready to simply let go.

Introverts can love going out; they can be noisy, and opinionated.

Extroverts can be quiet, can be homebodies, and reserved.

How social or talkative you are has nothing to do with whether or not you’re extroverted or introverted. It’s a matter of how you deal with and maintain your mood and energy. Extroverts are external; anything on the outside can help them feel better. Introverts are internal, they prefer to self-reflect and alter their mood from the inside out.
Micha Boot Review
In May, I did an Alloy.com budget hall that included these boots. Known as the Micha Boot, I bought them for $59.90 and wanted to share my review of them with you.

What I love about them: These boots look great in person. I've received a ton of compliments on them. I was worried they wouldn't work with my wardrobe and style, but they look great with almost anything whether that be a summer dress, or denim, they just work. The crotched top helps to keep my legs cool on hot days. I was surprised by the quality of the boots. They also make for cute rainboots if it's not pouring heavily.

What I didn't love about them: These boots are easy to walk in and comfortable for the most part; however, my ankle bone was rubbing against the inside which made it a little uncomfortable. They feel better with socks on. Another thing to keep in mind is these boots are a size bigger. I usually buy a nine when buying boots but decided to go with an 8.5 based on reviews. The 8.5 is a good fit, but I may have been able to get away with an 8. I recommend going half a size or a size down from what you normally wear.

Flaws aside, I love these boots. They are very cute and perfect for summer.

Are you living for you?

The problem with people is they assume everyone wants the same things. As I talk to my friends and strangers, listening to their goals, I learn that they want to go down paths I wouldn't consider for myself and visa versa. But as individuals, and as a society, we tend to forget that it's perfectly acceptable for someone to want a different lifestyle from you.

For example, not everyone wants to get married and some people don't even want to be in a relationship. There's nothing abnormal about that decision. They have their reasons for not wanting one; and even they have no particular reason, it's still their decision and deserves respect.

Another example, not everyone wants to go to or even believes in higher education. Modern society has made it handy to have one, but classroom study does not suit everyone and not everyone has the desire to get a degree. There is no flaw in not wanting secondary education, especially considering the many successful people who didn't give college a single thought.

But try telling someone you plan to make different decisions from the accepted norm and you get skewed faces, long winded lectures or an outright argument. People have forgotten that we are not on this earth to conform to some definite way of living. We are here to try and make a life for ourselves that will bring us peace of mind and happiness and happiness is a very subjective thing.

No two people hold the same definition of happiness. It is something very personal. For instance, it would make my mother very happy to see me as a doctor. But it would make me miserable. I've decided to pick a field that she really has no interest in. She may not be happy about it, but she has no real right to deny me of my happiness.

However, I see parents, friends, and even strangers rob others of their chance to pursue happiness simply because it isn't what they want. I have friends getting degrees in industries that they can't stand and people being forced into lifestyles that their personalities are not suited for.

We don't all want to live in some chic LA apartment with our 6 best friends close at hand, throwing parties every weekend. Some would love that, but someone else would prefer a quiet country cottage surrounded by land and animals instead of people. Either way of life is perfectly normal. You may decide you'd be most content never settling anywhere.

Instead of giving people freedom to decide, society has given us a checklist to complete by a certain age and if for some reason we haven't done every acceptable thing we're considered failures.

This is one of the worst thing we have done to eachother. We are stripping people of their individuality and their right to have their own personal human experience. Life is actually very difficult when you have no sense of yourself. More and more I am meeting people who have no idea what they would like or what would make them happy because they have had little opportunity to explore it.

You have the right to make decisions that will suit you (as long as it doesn't hurt anyone else). Remember that there are billions of people who will never be able to make a single personal decision. Women in oppressed societies, people in tyrannical countries, they have no freedom to live for themselves. If you have even a small opportunity to create a life for yourself, take it! Don't hesitate because it's not what society deems acceptable or because it's different from your friends. Try Postcrossing

kk

A month ago, I signed up for a postcard exchange program provided by postcrossing.com. You can check out the website for more information, but this is the jist of how it works:
1. Sign up for an account (which is free)
2. Create a profile which includes your address and a little about yourself, including the types of postcards you like.
3. Mail your first postcard, and when a user registers the postcard number, you are then the next person to get a postcard.
4. Receive and register your own postcard.

For those wondering, these are real postcards. You can find postcards in dollar stores, post offices, or souvenir shops to send.

The site has hundreds of thousands of users, which makes it more fun, as a postcard can come from anyone in the world. I also like that the site encourages postcards rather than letters. Writing a letter to a stranger can be a little intimidating. You just don't know what to say. But a postcard offers a small space to say a little about you, like your hobbies. The task seems easier, since sometimes just putting your favorite quote is enough. And of course, it's fun to look at the different pictures of places and things around the world.

Last week, I received my first postcard from a site user :D
It was from a lovely lady named Eva, who lives and plays the violin in Budapest. Eva and I have one thing in common: we both love resting, when we are not busy. I think the card she sent is perfect. It gives me a chance to see where she lives.

Oops, these aren't for eating

I mistook these for real cookies, but they're actually magnets. I loved them the second I saw them, but my feet didn't. They are a little too tight. Sadly, I have to give them away. I wish they would have worked out because they easily go with everything. They would have been comfy, if not for the size and they are so easy to walk in. They have a cute little heart on them to add to the shoes personality. That's the chance one takes when buying online, but I do recommend them for those with shoe sizes smaller than 8.5.

Tuesday Treasures
The trials of Tiffany Trott

I started reading this book while in the hospital and it turned out to be a humours destraction from my ailment. It's a bit like Bridget Jones' Diary (if you've ever read/seen it you'll know what I mean) and loaded with british humour. While it's not the most deep or provoking book, it's a good light read for the girly girl. Tiffany Trott is your typical London career woman, looking to settle down, and having very little luck at it. The author has a way of bringing all the characters to life to the point where I could recognize some of them in my own life. From her bad breathed dates, to her single friends who try to help, everyone seems alive as if they stepped out of the book and conversing with directly. It's a good book for a lazy sunday afternoon.

Red Embossed Heart Leather Journal - Lined

I have a red hardcover journal that I bought from a dollar store. It is different from this one, and I do love writing in it. But oh la la, look at how cute this journal is. It's so simple, and yet it looks as if it's calling out to someone to write some beautiful thoughts in it.

Lindt Gold Bunny Chocolates

The day after Easter, my mom bought this box of chocolates. I'm not chocolate fan, but the packaging of this box screams spring! It looks so vintage and sweet. I haven't seen a box of chocolate this cute in a long time. But other than trying to help themselves, they find people who are overcoming a similar struggle to latch onto. Your zombie friend will make you think you can help them, if you try. But what the zombie really wants is to bring you down to their level. They prefer to be friends with people who “understand” them. But rather than let you help them, they lure you into the same lifestyle you’re trying to escape.

They use emotional triggers like the vampire, and do little for their friends like the ghost. Zombies fear being judged and that’s one of the main reasons they’d rather have you sabotage yourself. To them, you can’t judge if you’re just like them.

They can be very clingy, and often take advantage of people. They fear being alone, so when they see you trying to "get back to the living" a zombie friend will bring you back down. They can be enablers or they can exhaust you into trying to think you can save them, which leaves you no energy to help yourself. They're a little like the gremlin, in that they don't want you to prosper. But unlike the gremlin, the zombie friend isn't envious. They're scared of being abandoned.

If you’re coming out of a difficult situation, you need to stay away from zombies who want you at your most vulnerable. They know you’ll be able to relate to them, and they will try to undo all the hard work you’ve done. They aren't looking to be saved; they're hoping to pull you down with them.

Common characteristcs of zombie friends

needy

clingy

manipulative

self loathing

negative

Other monsters
The gremlin
The vampire
The ghost
The werewolf

Monster Friend Series: The Werewolf

The werewolf is the person who has a nice side, but when they get mad…beware. The trouble is werewolf friends often have overly sensitive natures. You begin to feel like you have to tip toe around them because anything can set them off. They often have anger issues and large egos.

Werewolf friends can be physically mean but they can also cut you down emotionally. They may make snippy comments or mock you in openly. They have no problem humiliating and belittling people.

Werewolves like to be in control and they will try to control their friends either emotionally by making you feel bad, or they can be physical about it. They often feel powerless and thus seek to maintain power in their friendships. In their group of friends, they seek to be leaders and often are the ones who dictate what’s going to happen and when. If you have an uncompromising friend who is always deciding what the rest of the group members are doing, they could be a werewolf.

Werewolves rarely ask for anyone’s input and in their minds any contradicting opinion you have is wrong. They do not take criticism well due to their overly sensitive natures but they love dishing it out.

The werewolf when tame can make you feel like they’re nice. They are often full of fun ideas, or surprise you in some thoughtful way, but no one should be emotionally or physically abused. Werewolves are bullies and you don’t have to put up with the brash tantrums just to have a friend.

Common characteristics of Werewolf friends

Aggressive

Tempermental

Moody

Sensitive

Insensitive

Demanding

Controlling

Other Monsters
The Vampire
The Gremlin
The Ghost

Monster Friends Series: The Ghost

The Ghost. If they do help you out, you will hear about it when they again need something.

“Remember that time I helped you?”
“I’ve been there for you.”

They don’t do anything out of their heart. What’s more they often show little gratitude for the things people do for them. But tell them no once, and they won’t forget it. They won’t remember your good, but they will remember the one time you couldn’t help them out.

Ghost friends rely on people, and usually pick people pleasers or push overs as friends. Stand up for yourself and say no. They don’t appreciate people’s efforts so there’s no point in killing yourself for them.

Common characteristics of ghost friends

Manipulating

Users

Clingy

Self absorbed

Ungrateful

Other monsters
The vampire
The gremlin
The werewolf

Monster Friend Series: The Gremlin

The gremlin. These are your two faced back stabbers. Gremlins have two sides: the really sweet, cute, fun side and the mean, spiteful, side. Most Gremlins are users. They find people who have what they want and attempt to take it. They are never real friends. Even the vampire can make some effort to be a friend but not gremlins.

The major problem with them is that by the time you see what they’ve done, it’s too late. They are nice to your face, while they sabotage you behind your back.

Example, they’ll tell you they’re so happy for you and your new guy, while they plot to take him for themselves.

Because gremlins appear loveable to most people, it’s harder to get people to believe you when you tell them they aren’t actually nice people. It’s also hard to see it for yourself, because everything they do on the outside looks so sweet.

For me, they are the worst type of monster friends because they play games with you and make it difficult to trust people after they leave. You start to wonder if a person is really nice or if they are just a gremlin who is stabbing you in the back. But a major difference between a gremlin and an actual friend is that gremlins don't do something for nothing. They either want something directly from you, or they do it keep up the illusion of them being nice people. A good friend won't keep track of the nice things they do for you, but a gremlin will.

The main reason is because all gremlins are users. They won't waste their time trying to be your friend unless they can get something from you. They have highly envious natures and often seek out people who they "admire" or feel they can use to get ahead in some way. Couple this with their dishonest core and you get a friend who is really an enemy.

This dishonesty also includes any compliment they give you. Gremlins often seem like flatteres. They often praise people, or pretend to act very sweet, but it's an act to get you to trust and like them. This makes it difficult to trap them but keep this in mind: because everything they do is an act, gremlins have no real regard for your feelings. They may say one thing, but do another. They cannot commit real emotions to their words of praise or their actions, so they will either over exaggerate or they will give away the fact that they actually want something from you... "I love your dress! Can I borrow it sometime."

Another tip is that gremlins often try to steal attention and credit for themselves. If you have a friend who always seems to be flirting with the guy you like, or acts as if she did all the work on a project, you may have a gremlin in your life.

They are liars whose main goal to sabbatoge you somehow. Everyone is fair game for gremlins, so don't think you're a special case when you befriend one. If they cheated one friend, they'll cheat you too.

This is perhaps the best way to sniff out the gremlin. Watch how they treat others. Are they overly sweet to a person's face, but gossipy behind their back? Do they often compare themselves to others? Have other people complained about them?

The best thing to do when you find out you’ve been back stabbed by them is to call them on it. They can’t stand having people know their true selves so walk away from them but let them know that their little act is up.

Common characteristics of a Gremlin Friend

Decitful

Manipulating

Boastful

Slandering

Users

Pressuring

Overly nice

Selfish

Other Monsters
The Vampire
The Ghost
The werewolf

Monster Friend Series: The Vampire

The vampire. This is the most common type of monster friend. The vampire emotionally sucks the life out of their friends. They themselves are void and hollow of feeling so they entice others to feel for them. The vampire is the friend that makes everything a big deal. They are usually clingy, stating that they need you and they act emotionally unstable. Vampires provoke. They start fights or use emotional triggers on their friends. “I can’t handle things, I want to die.” “You know I need you.” Vampire friends are usually negative, but they aren’t all over dramatic. Majority of vampires are “sweet” people who hook people into over-feeling for them. Vampires can also make you feel guilty or bad about something good.

You: I met this great guy

Them: I hope he’s not like the last guy you dated

They take your emotions away because they lack their own.

Vampires often need to have people around. They don’t attempt to solve their own problems and they get a kind of high from people. If you hear the term “I need to be around people. I can’t be alone” You may have a vampire in your life. The vampire will suck out all your emotions until you have nothing left to give. Then they either replace you or begin quilting you for it. “I thought we were friends, how can you leave me?”

The best way to handle a vampire is not give into them emotionally. Remember, they may act overly emotional but in reality they are hollow. Thus, they feed off of other people’s good and bad emotions. The more you give into them, the happier they are. Don’t do it. Help them within reason and don’t let emotional triggers trick you into pleasing them. If your vampire friend is going through a really tough time, help them find a resource but don’t be that resource.

Common characteristics of a Vampire friend

Complaining

Manipulation

Guilt baiting

Sympathy seeking

Attention seeking

Provoking, usually in a negative manner

Dishonest

Moody

Self absorbed

Other Monsters
The Gremlin
The Ghost
The werewolf

Greatness of God

“If you don’t see the greatness of God then all the things that money can buy become very exciting. Our tummies say no more, but our mouths water at the menu as we look for another compilation to torture ourselves with. I stuff sushi larger than either my mouth or belly in me, while Amy slurps noodles that have turned cold. It's the company, not the sushi I was craving.

The sparkling bubbles from ginger ale tickled my noise, while they soothed my over stuffed tummy. I would have gulped down this drink even if my belly was blissed, but the ache gives me an excuse. Ginger ale gives me the giggles. It's something sweet for a girl that usually prefers things spicy. There really isn't much ginger inside, not like homemade, but the dancing bubble and fizzy fun make me and my tummy and I happy.

The Rainbow Bakery, that's the name that hosts these desserts at a sweet price. My eyes consume desserts far more than my mouth. If I could, I'd have a glass cabinet full of delightful desserts Cupcakes, tarts, and little pastries look so lovely behind the glass counter at the bakery. I wish they would could keep forever. These ones were tasty, but I've never had a sweet tooth. I love desserts for their cute charm, and the way they can round off a perfect afternoon.

Kiss me all over

Sun kisses from rays of summer sun make me dance in the garden just to remind myself to have fun. The kisses are innocent, just little pecks to say good morning darling. A kiss to say everything will be alright. The world is beautiful and bright, so let go of your cares.

Little rain drops kiss me in spring. What I like about this box is that every item in the box is full size. This is a nice change from other boxes that offer sample sizes, often not big to truly decide if you would purchase the item. Another thing I liked about this box is the types of products. It's not just a box of eye shadow and lipstick. Check out the pictures below to see what was in the February's Seasons Box.

The box came with a little card. I did not read it, but they usually greet the buyer and detail the items inside of the box.

Organic Dreams Rose Water: Smells like a lovely garden of roses.

Bambu Earth Salt Glow Sugar Cookie Body Polish: Has a lemon sweet scent.

Kaia Naturals Juicy Bamboo Facial Cleansing Clothes: I was excited to see this product because I love them. They work great to get the dirt and makeup off.

Galarie Au Chocolate Cappucino Chocolate Bar: This fair trade chocolate has a very strong coffee flavor, but it is good in small amounts or mixed with baked good.

So far, I think this is a great "sample box" company. I loved all the items they sent out in February. They are more affordable than other companies that still send out mere samples and they provide full sizes of a varitey of products. This gives you a better opportunity to decide if you would repurchase the product again.

Thanks for visiting

XX

Moments of my day Feb 27

I listen to Chopin, while I read long articles about hedge funds for client research. Cheese and crackers with licorice root tea make up my breakfast.
My face gets pampered with a French facial mask made for beauty queens. I turn in my french assignment and make a wish that I haven't mucked it up.

I check tumblr obsessively, to see if anything will inspire me, and find I am being inspired by everything. I force myself to log out only to log back on, and continue to be filled with too much desire of things I never will see of have.

I find myself getting nervous about exams and expectations from clients so I pull out a coloring book and calm myself with hues of purple and blue on fishes and balloons.

Yann Tiersen begins to over take Chopin and the swift impassioned violin tune remind me the day is going and I need to resume work and study.

My phone is shut off and I miss a call, but I'm also too busy to call right back, or so I tell myself.

I miss lunch, because I can't decide what to eat. Instead, I munch on raw pumpkin seeds to keep my energy up. I take out beef for a roast beef supper. Though the more I think about it the more I see I'm craving chicken.

I finish the draft for a client and consider myself productive for the morning, though a pile of work await me for the afternoon.

I want to rush through it, but my health forces me to do things in small increments. I move like a snail. I feel as if nothing gets 'done' and I am always playing catch up. I tell myself to stop getting myself down for lack of energy and use whatever I have to do the task in front of me.

I get a lovely message from a follower, which put a bright spot in my day and take a moment to listen to the silence while I breath in and out, giving thanks for the day.

Mod Cloth Haul/Review

After years of simply browsing, I finally did my first mod cloth haul! Modcloth.com is a online shop that features clothes, accessories and home items that are vintage inspired. Being a girl who loves 50's and 60's style, the site always draws me back to look at what they have in stock. However, I've always found their things a little pricey (unless they have a huge sale.) But a particular item, made me decide to go from browser to buyer and I managed to get all the items for less than their original price. Checkout the video above to learn more about my shopping experience and the items I purchased.

Lessons from the Swan Princess

The Swan Princess is a 1994 animated film based off the ballet Swan Lake. It was never one of my favorite movies, but now, looking back, I found it offered some more insightful lessons than many Disney movies.

The movie is about a girl, Odette, who is supposed to marry prince Derek, her childhood playmate. Every summer their parents had the two of them meet in hopes that they would one day fall in love and marry. As children, they really can't stand each other and dread their summer's together. But as the years go on and they enter early adulthood they begin to grow fond of eachother. Meanwhile, there is an evil enchanter, Rothbart, wants to take the kindgdom. His plans are foiled in the beginning but he vows that one day everything Odette's father loves will belong to Rothbart.

At a great ball, Prince Derek expresses his desire to marry Odette. And this is where the lessons begin

Odette asks him why he like her and prince Derek admits it is because she is so beautiful. Odette then asks, "what else?" And prince Derek says a pretty heart hitting line, "What else is there?"
Hurt by his response. Odette rejects him and leaves the ball.

Society has made it so being thought of as beautiful by someone you like should be enough. As if somehow if a girl can get a guy to be satified with her looks than she has accomplished something. Even as a child, I watched Odette leave that ball feeling proud of her and any woman who had the sense to demand her man see her as more than a pretty face.

Yes, it's nice to get a compliment but you can't mistake someone liking your appearance with real love.

I have actually used the line "what else?" with guys because it's amazing to see how suddenly the guy has to try and consider who you are as a person rather than feeling like he did some good deed for calling you pretty.

Girls are being raised to accept any "pretty" compliment they can get (guys aren't off the hook either)

If their "prince" thinks they are attractive and nothing more, they accept it. They don't even ask if he sees more to her. Even if she is talented, full of good virtue, and an all around great person a guy will still rely on saying "you're pretty" to entertain her ego.

Prince Derek was so excited to see himself married to a pretty girl and that's all he saw. This is repulsive and fearsome for a number of ways.

Odette as pretty as she is was not responsible for her looks. No one is because no one decides how they come out of the womb or grow up physically.

If your blue eyes are stunning that's God's doing not yours. Even if you change your physical appreance through surgery it's still someone else who had a hand in it. Thus "you're beautiful" never has been or will be a compliment. It's like when someone says I like your top, but you didn't make it. It means nothing.

For Prince Derek to think he was giving Odette a compliment proves he is a very vain man.

When he no longer finds you beautiful, he will move on and the fact that he believes a girl has some role in her beauty means he expects you to do whatever it takes to remain beautiful. That is a rather cruel task to put on any human.

It means, for the rest of your life you owe your selfworth to being appreciated by something you actually have no control over.

This is why a girl or guy will skip meals just to be a certain weight. Or why they will mentally put themselves down until their self esteem is so low they can't even imagine liking themselves.

You have a resposibilty to be a good person not a good looking one!

Odette was smart enough to see through Prince Derek and left. She may have cared about him, but she loved herself more; she knew she was more than just a pretty face and decided to take a personal stand against being some doll for Prince Derek.

It wasn't until Prince Derek could love Odette for more than her looks that she decided to be with him. I wish more girls and guys would do that. You may be attracted to someone physically and they may like your features but you shouldn't make someone feel they always have to be "pretty" for you. Nor should you feel like you have to look a certain way for them. If looks is all there is in the relationship, you have no real relationship

The Swan Princess is someone that shows girls it's ok to walk away from someone, even if you like them, if they don't value you as more.
