About Forex

The growth of the average daily volume of Forex trading has been phenomenal and is now currently trading currency to the tune of $1.6 trillion a day, having grown 50% in the last decade from an already large $1.0 trillion a day in 1992. It reached a high level in 2001 with approximately $2.2 trillion but adjusted back to the current $1.6 trillion by 2003. This was likely due to the birth of the single Euro currency in place of the then existing 12 European currencies.

The largest part of the largest financial market in the world consists overwhelmingly of speculation, in the form of spot forex trades (95%). The remaining 5% consists of companies swapping currencies back to their home currency to repatriate profits, forwards moves, and all other transactions.

The Traded Currencies
The six major currencies of Forex dominate the overall market share. 76% of all trades have both currencies in the currency pair as a major, and more than 98% of all trades involve at least one major.
Both of these figures are well beyond what would be expected if foreign currency trading were based solely on the majors' share of world GDP (74.5%), demonstrating the value the majors command abroad relative to other currencies. Another way thinking about the majors' predominance in the currency markets is to compare the rest of the world's economic output (25.5%), to the less than 2% share of Forex speculation that does not have a major on either side of the currency pair.
The most common currency pairs are EUR/USD (30%), USD/JPY (20%), GBP/USD (11%), and USD/CHF (5%), which together totals 66% (two-thirds) of all Forex spot trades.

The Dollar, Euro, Yen, and Pound are the most traded currencies. The six majors combine for a huge bulk of the trading transactions in a single day. Corporations and banks have known this for years, and have often used Forex for hedging purposes. With the increase in global trade, multinational corporations have likewise used the forex market to manage their risk in changes in currency rates.

The foreign exchange (currency or forex) market exists wherever one
currency is traded for another. Forex market is the largest market in the world,
in terms of cash value traded, and includes trading between large banks,

Types of Affiliate Programs

There are several types of affiliate programs.

Let's take a closer look at each of them.

1. PAY PER SALE

(commission based) also known as Revenue Share
You get paid a commission for each sale you generate.
If you refer a visitor to the merchant's site and the visitor
makes a purchase,you get a percentage of the sale as a commission.
Some programs offer a sliding scales for the amount of commission
to reward affiliate sites with high traffic,
while other programs stick to a flat commission rate for any level of sales.
Depending on the merchant, the commission may be for that purchase only,
for all purchases that customer makes within a fixed period of time
(usually six months to one year),
or for all the purchases that customer makes for life.

Advantages to you
You get paid for every sale that is generated through a referrer
from your web site.If the affiliate program matches
the content of your site, you are likely to get good results
from a commission based pay-per-sale system.

Disadvantages to you
This kind of program usually has a low click-thru to conversion rate.
This means most likely only a small percentage of your visitors
will click on the banner or link advising them to buy. Of that percentage,
an even smaller percentage will actually buy something.
You may find that there have been thousands of visits to your site
and yet no sales. The more you can focus your affiliate program and
integrate it into your site, the better your chances
for making real money will be.

2. CPA

- Cost Per Acquisition (flat fee referral) also known as a Bounty
You get a one-time bounty payment for the customer you referred.
You will not get commission on any future purchases

There are two types of products you can promote online:

products pose a series of challenges compared to their
digital counterparts.

Specifically, they need to be manufactured,
inventoried,and finally shipped to the buyer when
the purchase is made.

Depending on the product, this can result in significant
expenses that must be incurred by the seller and passed
on to the buyer. It also requires a storage facility, and
the personnel to handle the packaging and shipping.

On the other hand, digital products (often referred to 
as "information products") don't have to be manufactured
and warehoused.  They simply sit on a hard disc and are
duplicated on demand.

Digital products can be sent anywhere in the world via the
Internet, instead of by plane or truck, for only a few pennies.

Digital products also have much higher profit margins.
