Obama signs health care reform bill, aims to promote it on the road

President Obama on Tuesday signed into law a sweeping health care reform bill, the nation's most substantial social legislation in four decades, achieving a top priority of his administration.

Greeted by applause from enthusiastic supporters, he said, "Today after almost a century of trying; today, after over a year of debate; today, after all the votes have been tallied, health insurance reform becomes law in the United States of America."

The president said he is confident the Senate will improve the health care reform law swiftly. He said some health care reforms will take some time to phase in, but others will "take effect right away."

Obama introduced the widow of the late Sen. Ted Kennedy, who championed health care reform. "It's fitting that Ted's widow Vicki is here, and his niece, Caroline, his son, Patrick, whose vote helped make this health care reform a reality." Patrick Kennedy is a congressman from Rhode Island.

Obama said Tuesday that under provisions of the health care legislation that will take effect this year, small businesses will receive tax credits to help cover insurance, insurance companies won't be able to drop people's coverage when they get sick, and uninsured Americans and parents of children with pre-existing conditions will be able to purchase coverage.

He said he signed the bill into law on behalf of several people, including his mother, "who argued with insurance companies even as she battled cancer in her final days." He praised Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and congressional committee chairs, saying, "We are blessed by leaders in each chamber who not only do their jobs very well, but who never lost sight of the larger mission. They didn't play for the short term. They didn't play to the polls or the politics."

"We are not a nation that scales back its aspirations," the president said. "We are not a nation that falls prey to doubt or mistrust. We don't fall prey to fear. We are not a nation that does what's easy. It's not who we are. It's not how we got here. We are a nation that faces its challenges and accepts its responsibilities."

Before the signing, Vice President Joe Biden, praising Obama's leadership in forging the legislation, said, "Mr. President, you've done what generations of not just ordinary, but great men and women have attempted to do. ... You delivered on a promise, a promise you made to all Americans when we moved into this building," the White House.

Obama will hit the road to sell the measure to a still-skeptical public, giving a speech Thursday in Iowa City, Iowa, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs said. Obama launched his grass-roots drive for health care reform in Iowa City in May 2007, according to Gibbs.

The bill passed the House of Representatives late Sunday night with no Republican support. It was approved by the Senate in December.

A separate compromise package of changes also passed the House on Sunday and still needs to be approved by the Senate. The officials noted that the Senate cannot begin debate on the package before Obama signs the underlying bill into law.

Passage of the bill was a huge boost for Obama. Aides said Monday that Obama exchanged handshakes, hugs and "high-fives" with staffers when the outcome of the House vote became apparent.

"I haven't seen the president so happy about anything other than his family since I've known him," said senior adviser David Axelrod, adding that Obama's jubilation Sunday night exceeded his election victory in November 2008. "He was excited that night, but not like last night."

Republicans promised to continue fighting the reforms, with 11 state attorneys general -- all Republican -- planning lawsuits challenging the constitutionality of the bill's mandate for people to buy health insurance and requirements for states to comply with its provisions.

Senior Republicans in Congress warned that voters will judge Democrats harshly in November's midterm elections, with Sen. John McCain of Arizona saying the Democratic-passed bill killed any chance of bipartisan support on legislation for the rest of the year.

"There will be no cooperation for the rest of this year," McCain said in an interview with KFYI radio in Arizona. "They have poisoned the well in what they have done and how they have done it."

Gibbs, however, said the administration expects to win any lawsuits filed against the bill, and he challenged McCain and other Republicans to campaign for the November election against benefits of the health care bill such as tax credits for small businesses and an end to insurance company practices such as denying coverage for pre-existing conditions.

The overall $940 billion plan is projected to extend insurance coverage to roughly 32 million additional Americans.

Most Americans will now be required to have health insurance or pay a fine. Larger employers will be required to provide coverage or risk financial penalties. Lifetime coverage limits will be banned, and insurers will be barred from denying coverage based on gender or pre-existing conditions.

The compromise package would add to the bill's total cost partly by expanding insurance subsidies for middle- and lower-income families. The measure would scale back the bill's taxes on expensive insurance plans.

House Democrats are expected to celebrate passage of the bill at a news conference with reform advocates Tuesday afternoon. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who spearheaded her husband's failed health reform effort in the 1990s, said earlier in the day that Obama's success was an example of the president's tenacity.

"If you ever doubt the resolve of President Obama to stay with a job, look at what we got done for the United States last night when it came to passing quality affordable health care for everyone," Clinton said during a speech to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee.

EUR Vs USD had a sideways consolidation today as price had a small sell off to the 38% Fibonacci retracement of the last week's price lows. Next Fibonacci resistance would be around 1.3750 if prices go up.

GBP Vs USD has been consolidating for a week and has almost reached a narrowest range so should breakout soon.

USD Vs JPY was finally sold off after the big rally during the last month and touching the price 92.25 which was at the level of 200 day Moving average point and reversed on a daily chart.

USD Vs CAD created a double bottomed on Monday, where price then rallied
to the weekly pivot R2 at 1.0582 which is also at the level of 20 day moving average.

USD Vs CHF has already tested weekly resistance R1 at 1.0887 and is retracing. If it breaks out R1 expected to reach 1.1018.

Non Farm Payroll/NFP/ Non Farm Employment Change Forex trading news was expected to be -125K whereas the previous number was -190K and it was predicted if NFP > -225K USD JPY will go short 40-60 pips in 1st 15-30 minutes & if < -25K it will go long 40-60 pips in 1st 15-30 minutes. It came out to be -11k. It was a great trigger so it gathered 120 pips in just 30 minutes and the trend continued for the next 6 ½ hrs and went long for a huge +226 pips in total. MQL4 Vs MQL5:

MQL5 is the next generation of MQL4 language, in which numerous indicators, scripts, and Expert Advisors were written. Even though the MQL5 programming language is maximally compatible with the previous MQL4 language, there are still some differences between these languages. And when transferring programs these differences should be noted.

Major Differences (for programmers):

1. The number of indicator buffers are unlimited.

2. The new language does not have functions start(), init() and deinit().

3. Check of logical conditions is shortened.

4. dll is downloaded immediately after downloading an Expert Advisor.

5. Precedence of operators like in C + +.

6. When limits of an array are exceeded, the current performance is terminated.

7. The language offers the implicit type cast.

Compared to Meta Trader 4, the usability and usefulness has majorly improved. Beta testing is already in process. Programmers have also started converting their indicators to the new MetaTrader 5 platform. After over two years of development, the MetaTrader 5 has been released for public beta testing. The MetaTrader 5 terminal, as well as the whole platform, was rewritten from scratch.

Non Farm Payroll/NFP/ Non Farm Employment Change Forex trading news was expected to be -175K whereas the previous number was -263K and it was predicted if NFP > -270K USD JPY will go short 60-80 pips & if < -70K it will go long 60-80 pips in 1st 15-30 minutes.It came out to be -190 even though it was not a great trigger it could still gather 76 pips in total in the next 2 hours. USD JPY started from 90.36 and touched 89.96 those were 40 pips in just 1st 30 minutes. During the next 2 hours it reached 89.60 that was a total of 76. Overall it was a good profitable month.

If at 8:30am EST NFP > -270K USD JPY will go short 60-80 pips & if < -70K it will go long 60-80 pips in 1st 15-30 minutes.

CANADIAN DOLLAR Value is up again due to OIL

CRUDE OIL is one of the main raw materials which is produced in Canada and is supplied to United States. The Canadian currency started having increase in its value again versus U.S. Dollar when the crude oil rates raised beyond $70 a barrel.
In September, 2009 Canadian Dollar exchange rate averaged 1.08 CAD

EUR USD Back to Monthly R2 & GBP USD falls 288 pips in the last 8 hours

EUR USD after touching yearly high yesterday at 1.4825 has come back and touched Monthly Resistance-2 at 1.4676. Chances of setting in of the bearish trend is pretty high in the next few days. It has not yet crossed the daily trend line. At the same time GBP USD has had a quick fall from the weekly Pivot at 1.6371 to weekly Suppor-1 at 1.6083 a total of 288 pips in the last 8 hours.

USD JPY started from 95.25 and touched 96.83 those were 158 pips in just 1st 20 minutes. Then in the next 15 minutes it dropped down to 96.41 that was 42 pips. Finally, during the next 2 ½ hours it reached 97.77 that was another 94 pips so a total of 252 pips in about 3 hours. It was absolutely amazing.

If at 8:30am EST NFP > -250K USD JPY will go long 40-50 pips & if < -400K it will go short 40-50 pips.

Because of the overlapping of the time of Forex Markets all over the world one or the other market is open at any particular time. That's why it is literally called 24/7 so any currency can be traded 24 hours a day and anytime. But practically the brokers are closed at the weekends from Friday afternoon 4:00pm Eastern Time to Sunday afternoon 5:00pm Eastern time or we can also say Forex trading hours are 22.00 Sunday UTC to 22.00 Friday UTC (Universal coordinated time) which was former known as GMT or Greenwich Mean time. Also there are some major markets in which the volatility is good and there are more opportunities for profits so setting up your time according to that is the best way to be successful.

We MUST consider before taking any trade:-

1. Consider how many markets are open worldwide at the time you open any trade.

EUR USD reaches its highest price of this year at 1.4445

EUR USD reaches its highest price of this year at 1.4445. After a good Bullish rally yesterday price is stagnated around 1.4445 and has started coming down and has already reached 1.4000. The price is wandering around 1.4426 Monthly Resistance 1 and 1.4399 Weekly Resistance1. The position traders who were on long trades are advised to tighten the stop loss or treat it as the time to take profit. Also is expected to go short to a maximum of 1.3000 once the trend sets in. The previous highest peak of EUR USD was on 18th Dec. 2008 at around 1.4720 so we might expect a few more highs before it actually goes short. But considering short trades or getting ready for the short trades won’t be a bad idea. Happy Trading.

Interbank FX Announces Compliance with the New NFA FIFO Rule, Retaining All Platform Order Functionality Including Expert Advisors
Interbank FX's proprietary backoffice solution offsets positions adhering to FIFO rule
Salt Lake City, July 20, 2009 — Interbank FX (IBFX.com), a worldwide provider of online foreign currency (Forex/FX) trading, announced today a solution for NFA Compliance Rule 2-43 affecting all NFA regulated Forex brokers.
Using our proprietary backoffice solutions, Interbank FX will allow our Meta Trader 4 platform to remain 100 percent compliant, while retaining order functionality and flexibility for customers trading. The MT4 platform will continue to function as our customers have experienced over the last several years. This includes the ability for customers to use fully functional Expert Advisors, Stops Losses, Take Profits, Trailing Stops and Limit Orders without making any needed adjustments.
"Certain US competitors have decided that their solution to the new FIFO rules are to move their customers overseas, rather than being compliant," said Todd Crosland, Chairman and President of Interbank FX. The only modification for customers will be their daily and monthly account statements, coming directly from the proprietary Interbank FX backoffice system using NFA FIFO offsetting procedures. The FIFO rule takes effect beginning July 31/August 1, 2009.

FIFO offseting will occur for all of your trades and proper accounting will be managed by Interbank FX's proprietary back office and reporting system.

Will I still be able to close any of my orders of the same currency pair in any order in MetaTrader4?

With the IBFX solution, your trade management will still be fully functional in the MetaTrader 4 platform without you having to make any changes to your current trading strategies. Interbank FX's proprietary back office and reporting system will offset your trades FIFO as required by NFA Compliance Rule 2-43.

How will this affect my daily statements?

Interbank FX Official Statements will come directly from Interbank FX’s proprietary back office system using our FIFO offsetting and accounting procedures. These statements will be accessible through a client’s Web Site Login. You will still be able to pull an Unofficial Trade Journal using the Trade Journal feature within the IBFX website. You will also be able to produce Unofficial Trade Journals using MetaTrader 4 as your Trade Manager. You will notice on the Interbank FX Official Statements that the trades have been opened and closed in a FIFO compliant manner, while this may not be the case on your Unofficial Trade Journal.

Does this NFA rule apply to all U.S. based brokers?
