The painter is set to arrive in the next couple of days, so I had to finally settle on color selections this weekend. Exciting, but stressful! I highly recommend using a color fan when selecting colors. Using the fan saved me from buying a million samples! Here's the palette I have settled.

The Fourth of July is a perfect time for a picnic! This year we spent the 4th of July at the Dallas Arboretum picnicking and watching fabulous fireworks. Here are a few suggestions for a chic and romantic picnic experience.

It is summertime here in Texas and it is super hot outside! This means that spending time outside requires that I wear the least amount of clothes possible. Because of this, I always spend a lot of time concentrating on my waist line!

I came across a recipe for Sassy Water through an article I read from Prevention Magazine. Sassy Water happens to be a key component of their Flat Belly Diet.

<category scheme="http://www.blogger.com/atom/ns#" term="Maybelline. I recently ran out of my Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer ($42) and my budget is a little tight this month, so I thought I would try a lower cost product that I could pick up on an errand to Target. After reading a few reviews and spending way too much time in the cosmetic aisle, I decided to try Maybelline's Dream Liquid Mousse which I will refer to as MDLM ($8).

MDLM is a water based,

My Summer Reading List - Part 1

I have fallen off the reading wagon recently, so I decided to put together a summer reading list to get myself back on track. I attended my first wedding shower of the season this weekend and I thought I would share my ensemble.

I found my dress from Boden and I just loved the print and color combination. For those of you who have not yet discovered Boden, it is an online catalog store based out of the UK that ships internationally. I am petite and their clothes fit me perfectly not to mention they are affordable

Sticker Heaven + A Giveaway!

Spring has officially sprung here in Texas! Flowers and trees are already blooming and local stores are filled with beautiful decor for springtime.

It's been a crazy couple of weeks, but I finally finished my fall decor and right in time for Halloween! I hope to be able to incorporate my creations into this year's Thanksgiving decor, so I don't have to put them away so soon.

On the weekend, my husband and I love to make each other brunch and to read the Wall Street Journal together. I know we are total nerds, but we both just love to keep on top of current events and lifestyle trends. The Saturday edition is always very interesting, it covers a broad range of topics and my eyes are always opened up to new things. This week I learned all about Bordeauxs and

Go Rangers!

Lately I've been so bad about blogging because I went out of town last weekend and on top of that the Rangers have been playing! I'm so excited that they've made it back to the World Series! Anyone else a fan of the Rangers?

Anywho, I got to get back to the game and more importantly, Ian Kinsler. They are in need of some serious encouragement tonight!
