<p><strong>About TPE</strong></p>
<p>Thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) combine the good processing properties of plastics with the elastomer properties that are so important for product developers and designers. Thermoplastic elastomers consist of thermoplastic end blocks and an elastic midblock. As regards their structure and behaviour, they belong to a material class that is positioned between plastics (thermoplastics) and rubber (elastomer) and have gradually been developed into a material class of their own.</p>

<p>They enhance products and enable processors to position their products ahead of those of their competitors. In addition, TPEs also fulfil technical functions that have up to now only been available with elastomers. The use of TPEs does not only offer a range of product advantages but also has significant commercial benefits for processors. Similar to thermoplastics, TPEs become plastic when heated and elastic when cooled down again. In elastomers, this behaviour is due to chemical cross-linking. In TPEs, it is the result of physical cross-linking, and any changes in behaviour caused by heating are reversible. When the material is cooled down, new cross-links are established, which bond the elastic blocks into rigid three-dimensional networks. This means that TPEs show elastic properties that are similar to those of elastomers, while allowing for repeat deformation and recovery as known from thermoplastics. <p>The ozonation process can be various, such as Venturi tube, aeration tank, mixing pump or combined device.</p>
<p>For UV sterilizing, the sterilization rate depends on the dosage, here, the  related elements will be : flow rate,  lamp power, lighting time and distance.</p>

<p>Symptoms of trouble:</p>
<p>PP cartridges of security filter seriously blocked after 7 working days by yellow colloidal fouling, and this colloidal substance also follow through the security filter and effect the RO membrane elements, especially the first stage.</p>
<p>Cause: By analyzing the process, we conclude the sulfur bacteria increasing due to the Sodium Bisulfite (SBS) overdosing. At the pretreatment process, the Chloride Dioxide is dosed as bactericide in the depositing reservoir, and before the water go to the RO unit, the Sodium Bisulfite (SBS) is dosed to protect RO membranes. The overdosed SBS reduce not only residual chlorine, but also free oxygen, this will create an anaerobic environment, and the remnant sulfur compounds provide energy source for sulfur bacteria metabolism, which are anaerobic.</p>
<p>Solution:</p>
<p>To cut off the energy source of sulfur bacteria and inhibit its growth. There are two ways to avoid SBS overdoing: to get accurate value of residual chlorine, then recalculate SBS dosing; or to get ORP value of feed water (without any chemical dosing) as reference value, to decide SBS dosing</p>
