Update

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Mon, 11 May 2015 23:07:00 +0000

Looking back at my last few sessions on here and I realized it's been almost a year since I have updated. There is unfortunately a good explanation for this. I don't usually let my clients know the personal things I have been going through but feel the need to explain in this situation. My Father passed away November 1st and my Mother passed away March 6th. I have gone through a lot these past few months and honestly didn't feel like photographing happy moments. I feel as though in order to give the best to my clients I have to be on top of my game and I just haven't been lately. I have been taking care of my grandparents who are very sick as well and it takes a toll on you. Along with taking care of others I also have 3 small children so I am so sorry I haven't been on here. I am hoping to get back into the swing of things but in the mean time please be patient with me. Thank you so much for all the thoughts and prayers these past few months.

I'm so sorry for not updating my blog. I have my facebook updated but a lot has been happening in our family recently. Just going to add a few shots to let you know what I have been up to the past few months!

This family won a session from a giveaway I had on Facebook. They are such a sweet bunch and I am so glad I had the opportunity to photograph them!

{Merry Christmas from the Chafin Family!}

I photographed sweet Jessica for her Senior photos earlier this year. Her mom contacted me and asked if she could get a photo for Christmas cards. Love this one!

Return clients make me so happy! I had a chance to photograph little Miss Trinity as a newborn, at 6 months old, and now her family photos right before her first birthday.

{The Townsend Family}

Had the opportunity to have a newborn session/family session a couple of weeks ago. I have known this family for a long time and I love watching their family grow!

This mother/daughter session was so much fun! Roslyn is such a sweet heart and full of energy. They both made my job so easy!

Happy Fall! Such a sweet family....Kim and I were pregnant together with our boys. I had so much fun being goofy trying to get Wyatt to look at me.

Finally had the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family. Every time we would set a date and time the weather wouldn't cooperate. Spring photos turned into Summer photos. I hope it was worth the wait because I love these photos. They capture the personalities of the kids perfectly.

{Senior Session}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Mon, 26 Aug 2013 19:45:00 +0000

Had the privilege of photographing Miss Jessica a few weeks ago. She is a senior at South Paulding High School. She is an aspiring artist and so talented!

{Lemonade Mini's!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Thu, 04 Jul 2013 15:45:00 +0000

Summer time is my favorite time of the year. Watermelon, lemonade, firecrackers, warm weather, pool time...I could go on forever. We used the stand that we made to do several different sessions one of them being the lemonade stand. I think they turned out adorable!

{Happy Independence Day!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Thu, 04 Jul 2013 15:27:00 +0000

Happy 4th of July! Here in Georgia it is rainy and gloomy. :( We have had all our festivities postponed until this yucky weather leaves. Despite the gloomy weather we had a chance to get some photos done before the rain moved in of the firework's stand. It turned out to be a hit! So here are a few photos of the little firecrackers ;)

{Simmons Beach Session}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Tue, 04 Jun 2013 21:33:00 +0000

I stay on facebook so much, I'm forgetting to update on my blog! I went on vacation at the beginning of May and my brother and his family were there at the same time. With tiny ones you never know when they will be "done" with photos so we did a mini session. I think they turned out beautiful!

I love Prom season. :) I took Carson & Meagan's photos last year at Christmas and they have returned. I love return clients! Looking forward to Senior photos soon!

{Trinity is already 3 months old!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Fri, 15 Mar 2013 17:53:00 +0000

Wow! I can't believe she is already 3 months old! I had the privilege to photograph this little beauty right after she was born. She is such a joy to work with and I can't wait to do her 6 month shots. I am sure it will be here before I know it. Time needs to just slow down. I love babies!

{Sweet Bella}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Sun, 13 Jan 2013 16:00:00 +0000

Had the pleasure to photograph little Bella for her Valentine's pageant coming up. She was such a joy to work with and made my job so easy!

I was invited to a beautiful wedding last weekend. I forgot to bring my camera but I had my trusty iPhone! :) She had a great photographer and I can't wait to see her amazing photos. Just thought I'd share the few that I took. Of course keep in mind these were taken with a camera phone. I just can't wait to photograph a wedding! I have 3 booked for next year!!! :)

{My amazing kiddos!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Sat, 08 Dec 2012 02:44:00 +0000

Went to the park to do a few test shots with my new camera :) I of course think that my kiddos are so fun to photograph. They are my world. I love them so much and they inspire me to do so many things. It is so nice to be able to set my own hours and be able to spend more time with them. I am so very blessed!

{Welcome Baby Emily!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Sun, 25 Mar 2012 00:39:00 +0000

The Chambley family brought a new precious little girl to the world yesterday. Emily was born at Wellstar Cobb Hospital via C-Section. She weighed 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 19 inches long. I visited while the family met the new bundle of joy and took a few photos. Can't wait for her Newborn session! Congratulations Karen and Jeremy!

{New partnership!}

noreply@blogger.com (Natalie Smith) — Thu, 12 Jan 2012 02:23:00 +0000

Fotos By Natalie is excited to announce a partnership with Shoots for a Cure (formerly known as Think Pink Photography). Think Pink Photography was founded in October 2007 to support individuals and their families who have been touched by breast cancer. We are a charitable organization that serves two main purposes – celebrating life and supporting the cause. Recently, we changed our name and our support. We now want to support ALL cancer patients, not just breast cancer.

Through our professional photographer network, we are helping cancer patients to celebrate life with charitable photography sessions. Individuals may choose to document their fight against the disease before or during treatment, or prefer to capture their victory by scheduling a session within 12 months after treatment is completed. Photographers world-wide are now available to donate time and talent to celebrate life and support the cause. There is no cost or obligation to the cancer patient. Clients participating in a Shoots for a Cure session will receive a complimentary photo session, as well as a set of 10 small prints from the session. They will also receive a discount on any additional portraits they wish to purchase, although there is absolutely no purchase required at any time.

To support the cause, we donate and fundraise for The American Cancer Society and the Susan G Komen Foundation. All funds generated through donations and various fundraising efforts are paid directly to The American Cancer Society, the Susan G Komen Foundation, in our name, or used 100% for marketing and awareness of our program.

Please subscribe to our blog (on the Shoots for a Cure website) and tell your friends and family about Shoots for a Cure. Awareness is everything and we can’t be successful without you.

I encourage you to view our website, make a donation, or hire a photographer that supports Shoots for a Cure! If you hire me, mention Shoots for a Cure and I will make a personal donation to the organization. If you, or someone you know, would like to schedule a Shoots for a Cure session, please contact me for details.

I am very proud to be a network photographer with Shoots for a Cure, and am anxious to get the word out about this amazing program. For more information, you can contact me, or you can visit the Shoots for a Cure website.
