We’re offering a special promotion throughout February called “Bring a friend to FOUND!”

Here’s how it works:

First, bring a friend to FOUND who hasn’t been in yet. Then come to the counter and claim a free FOUND tote bag – one for you and one for your friend.

While you’re there, sign up for a drawing for not one but TWO $25 dollar gift certificates – one for each of you. We’ll draw the winners on the 29th of February. Leap day even. How cool is that.

“Business After Hours” Event!

This Wednesday, January 11th, FOUND will host the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce’s “Business after Hours” event. Deadline for advanced registration is Monday, January 9th. Walk-ins are welcome and admission at the door is $15 for Chamber members, $25 for non-members. The event will be catered by the Boatyard Grill and Ciao!

We’re open all day today 10-6 and tomorrow from 10-3. After a day off to celebrate with our families we’ll be open again at our usual time Monday morning!

The shop is full of fabulous last minute gift ideas. Gift certificates make great last minute gifts too! If you’re pressed for time we’ll be happy take your order over the phone and hold it at the counter for the lucky recipient.

1930′s Bobsled ~ FOUND Find of the Week!!

Makes me almost wish for snow! This sturdy old bobsled seats two comfortably and the bright red paint and hardwood bed and runners are in great condition. Priced at $295 – Dealer 818. Thanks to our very lovely Maddy for showing us how it works!

Announcing Extended Holiday Hours

Can you believe the holiday season is upon us? It seems like summer just ended!

We’ll be closed Thanksgiving day but open our regular hours for the rest of the weekend (10-6). No midnight specials, no long lines out the door, no mad rush. Just our usual great selection of fabulous antique and vintage items. Our dealers have brought in a lots of great new merchandise. The shop is brimming with vintage Christmas items and great gift ideas. If you still can’t find that special something we have gift certificates in any denomination.

Starting December 6th we’ll be open 7 days a week until Christmas.

Whether you’re shopping at FOUND or elsewhere this holiday season, we encourage you to start a new tradition by patronizing small independent businesses. This strengthens the local economy, nurtures a strong sense of community and provides a much more fun and relaxed gift-buying experience.
