Task 2:

Go through all your posts and add clear titles:

Reflective: Give a title that explains the key learning

Visuals: Title all the images that aren’t yours as research images and then title the rest own work.

Complete the following evaluation. When your work is installed you will be able to add to the presentation aspect of your evaluation.

Monday:

Task 1:

Start to get all the elements for your space ready. Find a plinth and paint it in the Foundation room, remember to put plenty of newspaper down and don’t let the paint dry on rollers and brushes.

Task 2

Keep adding images to your powerpoint to show the exhibition build process. Remember to reflect, sometimes this can make a big difference to your grade. Some of the decisions you make this week, can impact on the assessment.

The exhibition process:

Over the next 2 weeks, you will be finishing your last power point, completing an evaluation, building an exhibition, installing your work and completing a Pecha Kucha presentation.

Today is all about making your final piece. Next Thursday is the deadline!!!!!

Complete extra development tasks

Today Afternoon: 304 Power point catch up, make sure the list below is done

1. Evidence the 3 final piece ideas.
2. Create a reflective post about your use of sustainability in your project so far and how you propose to use sustainability in the final piece. This should not be tokenistic. Identify meaningful ways you have used/will use sustainability. If you have not thought about this so far, admit this and reflect on how you propose to incorporate this idea from this point on.
3. Go through your powerpoint and make sure their our clear titles that say RESEARCH or MY OWN WORK
4. FMP Essay is complete and attached to the teams assignment
5. Find a task, under evaluation on the project proposal, that you haven’t done and complete it. For example critique, tutorial etc.

Wednesday: 1pm Present 2 final pieces

Make sure you get a screen shot of all the ingredients and create a powerpoint slide before the outcome.

Final Piece Pitches

On Wednesday at 1pm you need to be ready to do the following

• 9.30: Finalise your ideas for todays “Exhibition in a Day” activity. If you need to discuss these with a tutor, come and see me first. I will do 1:1 catch-ups to discuss your ideas with each of you.
• 9.30 – 10.00: Gather materials, do design sheets or sketches, visit you proposed space to confirm your installation and be ready to react to unforeseen problems or changes that you may encounter
• 10.00 – 12.15: Production! Start making, designing, constructing etc. Expect to encounter problems and make changes as you develop your exhibition ideas.
• 1.00 – 2.30: Continue production – I will review/critique everyone’s progress between 1.00pm – 2.30pm. React to any feedback you get. Document your progress. Complete installing your exhibition in the space you have selected. Your exhibition piece will be viewed by an audience to get feedback – does your exhibition communicate your concept?
• 2.40 – 3.30: Show your exhibition. Audience feedback.
• 3.30 – 4.00: Record your feedback.
• How did you manage your time?
• What problems did you have and how did you solve them?
• How successful do you think your exhibition was?
• What feedback did you get about your specialism?
• What did people think the concept was?
• Why was this?
• If you had to do the activity again, what would you improve?
• On the back of today’s activity, what new things are you going to do for the project? (Research, skills etc)

4. Add any missing tasks from the tick lists.
